Nice! I am migrating from a Samsung Gear 360. Can this new camera give a spherical 360 look that with my mouse on my PC I can turn to any angle? Thanks!!
did you have experience of overheating in this case? I wanna use it on motorbike as dashcam, 8/10 hours continuous recording and with USB cable connected to recharge the battery. Thanks a lot for your answer
Hi sorry for late reply.., Insta360 cams has very high power dissipation, especially when you choose the highest resolution. It will heat up easily when I'm cycling in the day. It will also fogs up my lens protector easily during noontime in Singapore's humid and hot weather. One work around is i choose only 4K mode instead of 5.7K mode, it helps a little, and also last longer for battery consumption. For you, if using on a motorcycle, it may help with cooling-off by the moving wind. Dry weather is OK to keep it charging while riding, but not for wet weather as water can get into the charging port area. Do consider buying that right-angle Type C adapter, as per my video shown.
Hi that's not a charging base. It's a magnetic base for me to "stick" it on my dash. On my dash there are two magnetic plates. Purpose is for quick and easy removal.
It depends on the distance of the car. This is an action cam, not a general car camera. To capture number plates, it's better to use a car camera that has FHD or 4K resolution.
@@ivangoh1933 yeah I can understand the distance would be a very important factor. But, I’ve read & heard about dedicated dash cams that are completely useless when it comes to being able to read plates....so was just trying to get a rough idea of the insta’s performance
How do u keep the filming in one position. Keeps moving forward and back and even around to me. I just want it to film straight ahead and don’t have to change it when I edit what I filmed.
Depending on the conditions. If you are using any Lens guards it may easily gets Fogs up because of the overheating issue. Previously I used Premium Lens Guard it heats up very easily. Now I changed to Sticky Lens Guard, it helps a little. But at times when riding under hot sun it will still Fogs up. I had confirmed if recording is in 5.7k, it heats up easier. Recording in 4K will reduce alot of power consumption and battery last longer.
I bought two items: Camera magnetic mount and Basues magnetic disks: shopee.sg/product/135055241/13369245228?smtt=0.237392418-1669860554.9 shopee.sg/product/326528295/12758394981?smtt=0.237392418-1669860544.9

Hi, you can enable the "Direction Lock" then add a keyframe to fix at the angle u want. With Direction Lock 🔐, it maintains same direction all the way throughout.
nice I'll have to try this one just got the same camera about a week ago
Nice footage! 👌👍 I have to buy an 360 x2 or x3 too.🙂
Have a great week

@@ivangoh1933 Thank you very much, that will be more secure
Beautiful ❤️. That looks awesome 👍. Btw, what is the background music? where can i get the music?
Hi, i can't remember, but it's either from the video editing app "YouCut" one of the featured musics or from my phone Samsung's Video Editor ones...

@@stevej.6674 i see. I'm using Iroad X9, FHD, good enough. Newer models like X10 can go to 4K.

Hi, so sorry to miss your comments. To solve the issue, you can try to Turn ON the "Direction Lock" in both Phone or PC apps.
👍👍👍💯💥
