Riding The Cass Senic Railroad

Ever since I was a little kid I've always heard about logging railroads and there twisted and steep tracks and the odd Locomotives that ran them. When I decided to see the parade of Steam I knew I had to take the ride up Bald knob. if you dislike tourist railroads with steam Locomotives essentially mowing the grass this is your type of railroad . With Locomotives that have been operating on this mountain for decades . With similar tonnage to logging service nothing is Sugar coated it's open air,loud, a little uncomfortable and you'll be picking cinder's out of you hair it's an old logging train what more could you want. Great place. First visited Cass in 1974. In the late 70s and early 80s we used to camp up there on Bald Knob. Great memories Thanks for sharing this video
