After some thought, I have decided to answer the question of what the voice is saying at the end of this video. "Let no hope be cried out, except for the hope of a quick and painless death Mea culpa Our father, who art in heaven Wake up Wake up"

I think having a genuinely clean and 'heavenly' Killer would be a lot more terrifying than the Killers we've gotten before. It would really go to show nothing can be trusted in the Entity's realm.
@@daybreak5322Sounds holy when the killer is far away, sounds corrupted when the killer is near, and sounds completely demonic when the killer is chasing you
They could make it where the survived gets frozen or something like that and he appears next to them whispering in their ears and then they like die or something happens then they die or something like that
I'm sure the owner wouldnt be opposed to it, having thier own creation alongside icons such as Michel myers and chucky would be an insane popularity boost, and speaking behaviour would be paying them an unknown amount for money
Adding onto what Big Man said, DbD have worked with an insane amount of people for crossover stuff. Some of the unlikely ones that occurred would be AoT and Nicholas Cage. They've also proven to be willing to work with YT Creators, as evidenced by the Crypt TV skins.
Thats the point, hes like a hellish entity that took over heaven and killed Gabriel, and this form of his on Gabriel is to stop jesus being born, the concetual is sick and would be great on Dbd
I don't play DBD, but having a killer that can even temporarily turn into an approximation of another survivor that you have to actually *_LOOK_* at to see the difference is actually a terrifying concept
These sorts of powers are always really cool on paper but in practice they get countered entirely by just being in a Discord call while playing with your friends, since you'll all immediately know who the fake survivor is.
@@TheSilversepiroth ??? No, just impostor based killers are hard countered by this. If the main power is completely countered by coms, then it is a terrible design.
Imagine if you had to study your fellow survivors to tell if they've been replaced or not. Like checking to see if they're blinking or breathing, or if they walk and move in uncanny ways when the killer is mimicking them That would be freaky as shit
extra modification ideas, going off of the idea that the mimic accuracy is based off of a power levelling system (similar to michael myers). differences are of course random and the differences i list are meant to be separate, not combined with any others. t1: survivor is ridiculously stretched out to move like gabriel's model, refer to 'model swapping' survivor has no shadows casted on it, causing the model to look very bright, 2d, and out of place survivor is tposing, gabriel doesn't know how to load in the animations 💀 t2: arms and legs are swapped, disguise would look like a survivor running on their hands with leg "arms" survivor has a slightly larger head, and has that glitchy mandela catalogue extended eye effect. eyes are shiny enough to be seen even in the dark but may stand out less in brighter areas survivor disguise is perfect but a constant buzzing noise plays next to the disguise that randomly moves around. imagine a fly stuck in a cup and that cup is a small area around you, about 1-2m? it'd really be a giveaway, but if you are travelling in a group, nobody will trust eachother. distrust might be more powerful than deception. t3: survivor wields gabriel's weapon as if it was a survivor item, if gabriel doesn't have a weapon, then a kitchen knife will do just fine. if this doesn't fit in with t3 enough, it can be a bent/distorted survivor item, for example a medkit that has a bump/dent in it. survivor's grunts are of the wrong character, but are of the same gender. this modification would only appear when a survivor is injured since normal breathing is very challenging to tell apart. survivor either does not bleed when injured, or bleeds when healthy. the disguise blood will be tinted green specifically for the killer so that they don't run in circles chasing their own blood
This is awesome dude, I can just imagine his appearance warping the closer he gets to the survivor, shifting from a beautiful, divine figure to his more true and twisted self Imo his name should probably be “The Seraph” or “The Deceiver”
Gotta love the foreboding feeling of the choir. The religious feel really gives a sense of being up against something far more powerful than yourself. I am really curious what the mori would look like.
The vision I got was the perspective sorta shifts to the Survivor running and Gabriel shows up right in front of them but nearly completley off-screen, so the Survivor appears to be looking up at nothing. The Survivor then starts panicking and screaming as their eyes start bleeding and they crumple to the ground. Through the whole scene, Gabriel's "wake up" is looping in the background.
@@prince_chavv02i was thinking the survivors would curl up in a ball, darkness would start surrounding them while they are crying and then the darkness covers them from anyone seeing them. You hear a scream and then the darkness dissapears with just the dead body and the entity staring at the body, then looking away with “wake up” getting louder
@@BraidensWorldProductions I like that, but I do think, when it comes to DBD fans, they want more of an "active kill" for a mori, otherwise they feel the mori is lackluster and they're less likely to use it.
@@prince_chavv02 true, i feel like if ours were mixed together it would work as an actual dbd mori, since the survivors dont really move from the spot they are mori’d at

Gabriel in Dead by Daylight: Killer Name: The Angel (idk i'm not THAT creative, i just call Gabriel "Gabriel" for the rest of this idea) Power: Metaphysical Domination Description: Born from the depths of malevolent consciousness, Gabriel is a relentless harbinger of despair, an embodiment of twisted desires whose power, "Metaphysical Domination," weaves a web of psychological torment that wraps survivors in the suffocating embrace of their own fears. Like a shadow that refuses to dissipate, Gabriel's presence consumes the very essence of hope, plunging its victims into a realm of nightmarish uncertainty. Now, the enigmatic and malevolent entity from The Mandela Catalogue series makes its way into the realm of Dead by Daylight as a formidable killer. Armed with the power of "Metaphysical Domination," Gabriel can manipulate the fabric of reality to sow chaos and despair among survivors. Metaphysical Awareness: Gabriel possesses the innate ability to sense the deepest fears and insecurities of survivors. When activating this power, Gabriel can view the location of the nearest survivor within a certain radius affected by "Mental Fatigue", highlighted by killer instinct or aura depending on tier. Mimicry: Gabriel can channel its mimicry ability to take on the appearance of a survivor it has last injured. While in this form, Gabriel cannot use their basic attack, but can move around and interact with objects, imitating the survivor perfectly. Survivors observing this mimicry may notice subtle abnormalities. Gabriel can cancel mimicry at any point with a small delay,( like Sadako's manifest), to injure survivors. Psychological Warfare: By using its mimicry, Gabriel can engage in psychological warfare against survivors. When in close proximity, Gabriel can inflict "Mental Fatigue" upon survivors. Afflicted survivors will start experiencing hallucinations, distorted perceptions, and an overwhelming sense of dread in different tiers. This disorder makes it more challenging for survivors to perform actions effectively, such as skill checks, vault speed, or healing speed. Mental Fatigue: Mental Fatigue is a status affect that can be noticed on the character portraits, while only the killer may see the progress at which Mental Fatigue builds, both survivor and killer may see the tier at which Mental Fatigue resides. Mental Fatigue can build by three methods: 1) Passively - When a survivor performs any action that can be performed cooperatively alone*, the survivor gains mental fatigue slowly. 2) By Terror Radius - While Gabriel is not using mimicry and/or is not undetectable, a survivor in the terror radius moderately gains mental fatigue. 3) By Mimicry - While Gabriel is in Mimicry, any survivor within 16m (or extended with add-ons) gains mental fatigue greatly. Mental Fatigue can be brought down by three methods: 1) When a survivor is in close proximity with another survivor, mental fatigue drops slowly. 2) When a survivor is performing a cooperative action with another survivor, mental fatigue drops moderately. (*Increases with survivor count on gen) 3) When a survivor is performing a healing action or is receiving healing from another survivor, mental fatigue drops greatly. Mental Fatigue has 4 Tiers (kinda like doctor, kinda) any tier above has it affects active as well as tiers below, except when mentioned again with use case in parenthesis Tier 1 - False Distance theme plays Tier 2 - False Skill Check Warning cue whilst performing cooperative actions (Or creates false skill checks with add-on), Alerts Gabriel via Metaphysical Awareness (Killer Instinct) Tier 3 - Metaphysical Awareness (Aura + audio queue), afflicts oblivious Tier 4 - Afflicts Exposed, Metaphysical Awareness (Longer Aura + audio queue 2) Gabriel is basically an ALTERNATE sadako (: get it... get it,.... i spent like 3 hours on this, literally no one is gonna read this dawg lol 😭😭 *Edit: LOOOOOONG time type that @musicalmaniac2901 pointed out long ago, I meant to say "When a survivor performs any action that can be performed cooperatively alone*" and not a cooperative action in general ALSO THANK YOU ALL FOR THE LOVE AND SUPPORT, YOU ALL ARE SO AMAZING
I read it, and I think it's actually really cool! It's like how many people thought legion was going to be before they came out. My only concern is the "Number 1" way to gain mental fatigue and the "Number 2" way to lose mental fatigue. It seems as if survivors gain and lose mental fatigue by doing cooperative actions, so that may need a patch.
@musicalmaniac2901 I think the writer meant if they did a Group action alone the meter will build, but if they do it with another survivor the meter will go down. That's just how I imagined it in my head though but it might be more balanced that way? Numbers would need to be tweaked the make it fair but all in all I think this is a pretty neat fan concept!
Honestly this sounds just like a better Sadako. Also I think his perks should be: T.H.I.N.K.: Not really sure what this would do Nothing is Worth the Risk: While carrying a survivor, your terror radius will be reduced by 50%. Any survivors within the terror radius at this time will slowly receive Mental Fatigue (it will stack while on Gabriel) Scourge Hook: False Shepherd: After you hook the obsession on a Scourge Hook, your terror radius will be moved onto the Scourge Hook and you will become undetectable until the obsession is unhooked
I think that is the point of Chase (extra). In the actual series of the Mandela Catalog, they tell you things that "you don't want to hear" which causes people to end themselves. Kinda like the music died out to hear the whispers you shouldn't hearing
I do actually have a written mandela catalogue concept but Gabriel isn’t the killer, its the alternate that broke into the mandela county police department and tried to kill thatcher. Considering Gabriel is canonically satan in disguise, I feel like it would be unrealistic if the entity could actually keep Gabriel in the realm. Also, the alternate that tried to kill Thatcher is the only humanoid alternate in which we know what its true form looks like. I’m also gonna put down an intruder legendary skin for Sadako.
The fact that Gabriel, a self-proclaimed angel, is drawn in the same pose as Baphomet? Strong. I also imagine him literally hovering across the ground in the form of a 2D billboard when he's far away, then morphing and twisting as he approaches survivors. It's a good thing to think about.
Dude this absolutely KILLS it. In complete honesty, I wasn't expecting this to be very good. A lot of fanmade chase themes lack character or uniquity, which is something I'm often disappointed by. However I was BLASTED by the vocals when they entered. The eeriness of the distant singing was executed excellently. I like how it's subtle. The idea behind writing the theme (from what I could tell) is a stealth killer whose primary ability is to transform into/disguise themselves as other survivors, so a terror radius whose distant radius is unassuming, yet ominous, fits the bill perfectly. The entrances of the vocals and bell bring the identity. It is soft, yet striking, like the angel of death distantly riding from over the horizon atop his pale horse. My one complaint with the chase (the first part), is that the vocals feel like they stopped ramping up along with it at the last layer. Had they become more discordant, or louder or changed the chant, I feel it would really bring it together. Without it, I feel like it lacks a bit of the intensity being chased by an indescribable monster would offer. My singular criticism aside, I think this piece ROCKS!! Again, it defeated my expectations in the best way possible. Editing this part in because I forgot to express my love for the synth part!!!!! It's really good :D
Here are some perk ideas Unknown intruder- you know to hide where they think is safe. After searching a locker for the next 30/45/60 seconds you gain the undetectable status effect. This perk has a 100 second cooldown. Nothing is worth the risk- you make mortals only look out for only them self. When the exit gate is not being powered it will slowly regress to 50%/25%/0% Unsafe space: Let me in- no one can resist their fate to come. Several lockers become unsafe spaces these lockers are highlighted in white to you. After a survivor exits, an unsafe locker their aura is revealed to you for 8/9/10 seconds. “ let me in Mark. I have a surprise.”- Cesar Torres? Ps some perks that have to do with lockers probably could change to unsafe spaces like iron maiden and basement lockers will always be unsafe spaces
A ALTERNATE for let me in would be something called Unholy truth- those who seek the truth, die to regret it. when a survivor sees your aura, they scream, revealing their location and receive the blindness and oblivious status effect for 30 seconds this perk has a 90/75/60 second cooldown “ who have I been praying to this whole time”- Mark Heathcliff
Maybe Unsafe Lockers could have it so survivors who attempt to enter it have the locker be blocked off by the entity and their location secretly revealed to the killer
Honestly, the unsafe Space idea, being like a Scourge Hook for Lockers, I think That's really cool, though a bit lacking, since survivors rarely use lockers unless they're the last one. An Idea for a replacement perk: Hex: Destruction of Safety A Hex Rooting its power in Value. Meticulous in your approach, you know that to conquer your foes, you must destroy what they hold close After Hitting a survivor with a basic attack, all survivors in your terror radius become exhausted for 6/12/18 Seconds. For Each Exhausted Survivor, All Survivors Heal and Repair 3%/4%/5% Slower You sneak up on them, lock up their recourses, and slow the game's end to a stalemate. Plus, Distressing Usage
Man, this does serious justice for how creepy the nature of the Mandela Catalogue is. An entity fooling humanity and leading them down a terrible path, while also being able to take on others forms and use psychological warfare on anyone it pleases? I dont play DbD (I used to, but I havent for long enough that I may as well say I haven't), but using that ability as one of the killers mechanics would be absolutely insane. Feel like it would be very high risk, very high reward. Especially if lines such as "they exist on different spectrums" and "biologically impossible characteristics" were taken into consideration. Sure, seeing a scary killer with a knife running toward you is terrifying, but add "biologically impossible characteristics" and it becomes something else entirely. Of course, as others have mentioned in these comments, the mimicking of other players could be easily countered by a voice call, but again, the alternates feed off of fear, hence the "do not speak, you may accidentally reveal your fear" line. Planting those seeds of doubt could work sometimes, depending on the circumstance, leading back to why its so high risk with such high reward. I got completely sidetracked. Summary : song is a banger, and creepy Mandela Catalogue alternate is spooky. Nice!
and like, imagine if in the game , he use your mic to see if you speak, and you gain something like "fear" or other status, it would be way more good and make voice chat more terryfying, and make it EVEN more scary and good
I play dbd and that would be INSANE to have in the game, i can just imagine what inexperienced survivors in vc would think : "Hye man come with me i found a gen" "ok where you at" "wdym you're following me rn" "No.... i am not" *panic ensues*
I think it might actually go like this: "I found a gen, come to me." "where are you?" "near the middle of the map i think" "wait so you're not following me?" "no i am not" *panic*
I think it might actually go like this: "I found a gen, come to me." "where are you?" "near the middle of the map i think" "wait so you're not following me?" "no i am not" *panic*
Instead of Gabriel, his name should be "The Deceiver", since he is not really Gabriel but Satan. Plus it would be interesting for the Observer say something like "The Entity didnt summoned him, he invited him, its possible that even, they are very similar beings with similar origins..." Since y'know, origin of all evil etc
That unhinged garbling in the extra portion reminds me of M.A.D, and I don't know if that was the intention but I LOVE it. It really does add to the whole concept in a really clever and possibly unintentional way.
@@Imgonnatouchyou99 Imagine: "DUDE, what are you doing, do a gen." "Wdym? I am doing a gen right now." "No you're not, I can see you just standing there." *"That's not me...."*
I saw this thumbnail and title and audibly gasped, I’ve never even entertained the thought of this happening, but it would be so unbelievably perfect. Introducing a new type of terror into the world of dead by daylight, religious horror. I can see Gabriel, having some kind of passive MAD, a fact where survivors will have their vision slowly turn to black and white, and the overall colors will become much harsher when you are in shades with him, creating this horrifying image of being chased by an Angel with a horrible twisted grin.
I just want to leave a comment here saying how thankful I am with all the kind comments and interesting critiques on my music. I really enjoy making music on the side and sharing it to hopefully inspire other artists to create their own ideas! Keep being you and being creative!
As a concept for his Mori, I almost think that it might be interesting to use the hooks for it. Hear me out: ~ You put the survivor on the Hook. ~ You activate your Mori. ~ You watch as Gabriel grabs the survivor's head and forces them to look into his ever shifting face, his analog horror eyes and deadpan smile stretching and and warping almost like the game is glitching. You see the survivor gradually increase in fear and panic as the whispers get louder, trying to shake their heads free, and ending with something along the lines of "I am inside your mind." or, from the first episode, "Hello! I am The Angel [incomprehensible video error sounds]." before they eventually just slump on the hook. Would it cost extra time and effort compared to just killing them in the open? Yes. Would it add to the horror aspect of basically mindfucking them till they lose the will to live? Abso-fucking-lutely!
You know what would be cool and work in open space? There was a game once where one of the endings was a smiling unsettling face getting multiplied on the viewer’s screen and with an rnd blurb explaining that the player has gone insane, and I think that the same principle could be applied to the survivor’s pov. From the killer’s and others survivor point of view the survivor would possibly just distort out of existence? Or collapse or something like that.
Mori idea: Screen zooms in on the downed survivor's face and they blink. the area around them becoming all static and warping as the killer approaches. Then as the survivor laughs uncontrollably, the killer gently strokes their cheek as the survivor's body becomes warped and stretched like play dough before they drop to the ground twitching with blackened eyes and a uncanny wide smile. Something elegant yet brutal showing the insanity they've been overwhelmed by
I could absolutely see this happening, even the stretching since it's like warping the model's corpse to have bigger irises and an unhinged jaw. That's peak mori right here.
Having an Angel-like killer would be interesting and in stark contrast to the other killers. I imagine the(base) form would have flowing hair made of TV static, the permanent unsettling smug smile in the background, the long oddly stainless gown, I can also see him making hand gestures in his idol animation, then you meet him… his eyes and pupils grow unusually big and you see that he is no savior, no god, or angle, but another monster pretending to be human.
I thought of a very cool mechanic for gabriel. Although its not fleshed out as i just though of this right now but here goes. Gabriel has the ability to send out an alternate of a random survivor (including thise who already died) to do one of the following (you can only have 2 at a time): *Walk (run during chase) towards a designated place * "Work" on a generator (does no progress) (global range) (will not activate if someone is already there unless you use a certain add on. If not, you will just waste your ability button) *Stand still The alternate disappears after a certain amount of time. If a survivor gets to close to an alternate or works on a gen that has an alternate, the alternate screeches alerting gabriel and then disappears, survivors nearby gain a stack of insanity. There are two ways to spot an alternate, one, they make some abnormal movements like twitching n stuff, two, using an aura reading perk. Alternates do not have any aura. Insanity 1: slower action speed, increased terror radius for gabriel Insanity 2: insanity 1 + survivors and alternates now have a terror radius. Insanity 3: Insanity 2 + alternates now injure the survivor Insanity 4: Insanity 3 + aura is revealed to gabriel in a 15 meter radius Survivors can "calm down" when at insanity 3 and 4 to reduce their insanity state back to insanity 1. Mark's gun (add on): if the survivor is on death hook, a timer begins to count down if the survivor reaches insanity 4 (does not activate during chase). If the timer reaches zero, the survivor drops their item (if they have one), grabs a gun that manifest in the ground, and you know what happens next. [Dont know a name for this one] (add on or perk): if a survivor is sacrificed or dies (via mori or killer based kills), that survivors ui will appear as "injured" until another survivor is downed [Don't know what to name for this one 2] (add on): if a survivor is inflicted with insanity 3, that survivor will occasionally see an illusion of gabriel standing in the corner or behind something
God fucking damn- This whole track is super haunting, and the chase sections are SO TERRIFYINGLY GOOD You absolutely nailed the vibe of this track, it really makes you feel like a god of deception is stalking you down
I think the Mori will go like this: First Gabriel brings a light down from the sky, the survivor flips around to see the light and goes into a trance, eyes turn to static as slowly the light darkens and false angels come down and tear the survivor to shreds. Gabriel twists into an alternate as he watches and the survivor still stares into the darkening light now turning red, making no noise. When the light goes fully red the false angels fly away back into the sky and Gabriel pulls up the survivor by the throat and twists their body into what an Alternate would have, with a sickening crunch at the end he drops them to the floor and goes back into his original form.
honestly i gotta hand to the artist with the art for this fan song (i assume it's you!), it looks very inspired by Genndy Tartakovski's work from Samurai Jack, absolutely lovin' it. BTW, these themes slap, most holy beats to go to hel-- i mean get DOWN to!
Thank you so much! Yes I drew the art and composed the theme :) I've been told I draw in the style of hannah barbara and genndy which I really am flattered because Those styles are inspiring!
When a character has an 'Approaching' theme equally menacing as the 'Very Near' of others, you can tell above-awful things will happen if you get caught...
I love how it looks like his eyes are bright and cheery, but that’s just his eyelids. His real eyes are a bit more sinister, which really adds to the theme of the alternates.
I just want to say that this is amazing. I keep coming back to it for one reason in particular, and that's just how fitting the music is for one of these creatures, especially the one that portrayed Gabriel. It starts off slow, ominous, but otherwise somewhat normal. You can hear church bells in the back, and the ghostly cries of a choir. As we get to Approaching/Near, we add percussion to really hammer down the importance of this being. The hard, low beats of the drum invoke a sense of power and authority. But as we get to Very Near/Extra, the instruments begin to shift. A strange whistle is added that almost sounds wobbly, strange, alien. These are the first hints in the music that something's not right. Just a moment ago you had this deep, almost symbolic chanting, bells, and drums. But now something's off. And as you enter the Chase, your suspicions come to light. The strange whistle is louder now, accompanied by strange whispers as if something is trying to crawl through your ears and into your brain. The choir in the background is still there, that feeling that this being is trying to imitate, but it's slipping. You're too close now. From far away he seemed normal, but up close the features are just wrong. The smile too wide, the eyes too large. During Chase Extra, the mask completely falls. The choir fades to almost nothing as the song glitches, the whistle and whispers deafening. You have seen what this being truly is, and it sees no point in trying to act otherwise. After all, You're already dead.
A very interesting piece that perfectly captures the character and the series. It starts out very simple, with a low synth and a bass drum, accompanied by some high pitched sound effects. Not much to go off of, but it sets the stage for the upcoming chase and gives a lot of room for the extra layers that will be added. Not to mention the synth gives me vibes of some other-worldly aliens, which describes the alternates very nicely. Next comes some chimes, reminiscent of a church bell, and some low dissonant choir. Choir and church bells immediately plant the idea of religion in our minds, but this choir is dissonant and spooky, as though twisted, distorted, and corrupted by some great evil. Furthermore, the sound of the chimes is also reminiscent of judgement day. It's as though it's saying "This is the end. Your time is up. Prepare to meet your inevitable fate." Finally, we're treated to the slightly dissonant main theme, played on some low, sour sounding brass. This sets up Gabriel's role as the main antagonistic force behind the Mandela Catalogue and now, the chase. This theme is then reinforced by some extra choir, and percussion is added to build the tension. He's getting close. You need to be wary. More percussion and choir are added as the tension rises and the stakes get higher, keeping the same, constant tempo the whole time. It almost feels like it represents Gabriel's pacing. He's taking his time, and is in no hurry. A patient killer that you can't escape from, can't hide from, can't run from. The percussion ramps up _even more_ as a strange synth joins the soundscape, perfectly representing the alien nature of the alternates. These are foreign entities not of this world. And they're getting really, really close... Finally, the percussion EXPLODES in an intense, rhythmic panic as the chase begins. The horror and fear of these entities is heavily represented by the percussion, and Dandy did not hold back. Additionally, you can hear some subtle chanting in the background, almost sounding like it was analog-ified. The chanting also contributes to the themes of worship, but in a very different way. It feels more like a dark, malevolent cult than anything else. Finally, most of layers are completely stripped back, leaving behind the alien synth, fragments of the percussion, and what I can only assume are voice-lines taken directly from the Mandela Catalogue from Gabriel himself. The chase is over, and the angel has caught you. I can't help but notice the addition of a very subtle trumpet, playing in the upper octave in quick, dissonant, panicked notes, encapsulating the fear and panic of the survivor who's just been caught, only being able to imagine what horrible fate awaits them next. Finally, the track relents, ending with one of the high pitched sound effects from the very start. The chase is over. This is the end.
Perk ideas: Open your eyes: “We may never know why we’re truly here and that’s good.” After an m1 hit the survivor becomes oblivious for 30sec. False god: “Don’t be deceived by his wings of jewels, he’s no angel.” During the start of the game if the survivors find you (like start a chase) they are exposed for 15/20sec. It’s never worth the risk: “Just leave him! It’s not worth the risk!” When you hook a survivor and the exit gates are opened every survivor becomes revealed permanently. Until no survivors are hooked. Survivor Mark Heathcliff The surprise is a lie: “Never open the door under any circumstances” When you are in a locker if the killer is near you (10/12 meters) they are revealed. Patience is key: “I’ve had a lot of time on my hands with these guys, yet there still as deadly” When you are in a locker you recover from exhaustion 50% faster. Braver than most: “When you open that door you better be ready” When the exit gates are opened you get a 5% speed boost and unhook 100% faster.
Iridescent addon ideas: Mark's Notebook- One of the items recovered from victim one. Its pages are scrawled with reassurances of God's love. "Who have I been praying to all this time?" -Mark Heathcliff Mandela County police badge- A memento of a great deception. Instills fear and mistrust among those in the trial. "This is Lieutenant Thatcher Davis. It seems like I made a mistake. Everything's clear here at the station. Calling off all units. Over."
i actually made an alternate concept but it was more focused on the general species of alternates Killer name- The Alternate Origin- the alternates are an unknown species of demon created by satan himself. The alternates were made by satan and sent upon the human realm to cause chaos and bring humans to their knees, looking to replace them. Satan took the form of the angel gabriel and had noah unknowingly bring the alternates where he wanted. The alternates possess otherworldly abilities, such as shapeshifting which they often use to mimic humans and trick other people. They also possess M.A.D which is a disorder they passively give to humans who are in their presence too long, the symptoms of M.A.D are hallucinations both visual and auditory, this will culminate in their loss of sanity until they take their own life. They also seem to have the ability to swap between tangible and intangible forms as they are described to exist on separate planes of existence to humans. The entity struck a deal with satan, allowing it to harness one of the alternates into its realm to torment the survivors. Killer Weapon: Unwanted Words the alternate possesses no weapon, instead it raises its hand and whisper incomprehensible words, its lunge animation simply has it step forward and speak louder whispers. Despite no physical harm coming to the survivor, they will appear injured Hit Animation- the alternate brings its hand back as it laughs, whispering a single phrase “nothing is worth the risk” Killer Basics- 115% speed tall (7-8 feet) 32 meters Chase music- Chase Killer Power: Metaphysical Awareness Disorder (M.A.D.) a cruel disorder brought on by the presence of an alternate Special Ability: disguise pressing and holding the ability button (LT, for xbox). Allows you to shape shift into your obsession, this disguise is near perfect apart from the occasional static that will distort your face for a brief moment. While using this disguise, any survivor within 32 meters of you will begin to fill up with a M.A.D. gauge, this gauge is only visible to you. The closer they are the quicker it fills up. For every fourth of the gauge that fills up a new effect is given to the survivor. Tier one: survivors no longer see the static that will distort the alternates face, instead the static will appear on the real obsession. Tier two: Survivors will see other team-mates with static over their faces. Tier three: the real obsession will now have a 24 meter terror radius that can only be heard by survivors who are in tier three Tier four: the survivor will become exposed and their aura revealed for 7 seconds the alternates disguise will be broken if they attack a survivor, grab a survivor, or are stunned out of it. Survivors can rid themselves of M.A.D. by praying, this takes 12 seconds and gives them up to 5 difficult skill checks and will remove one M.A.D tier, only available during tier two of M.A.D and onwards. Disguise has a 20 second cooldown Special Ability: Mimicry this ability is only usable when disguised. Hold down the primary power button at key areas to mimic survivor actions (RT on xbox). Using mimicry when moving allows you to sprint at survivor speeds. Using it at a generator will cause you to start working on it (this gives no progression to the gen, but the bar will appear as red to the survivor). It can be used at other objectives such as gates, totems and chests. There is a 4 second window where you cannot attack after stopping a mimicry action Special Ability: radiowaves the alternates final ability. Only usable when not disguised, press and hold the secondary ability button (LB on xbox) to slowly fill the M.A.D. gauges of survivors within your terror radius, this decreases your movement speed to 105% Killer Mori- the survivor stands up as the alternate takes their form. The survivor and the alternate stare each other down as the camera is set from the first person perspective of the survivor. Incomprehensible whispers come from the alternate as it starts laughing, the laughter getting more and more distorted until finally the survivor snaps and starts mutilating themselves. Tearing off chunks of their skin and ripping into themselves until they collapse due to the injuries. Perks: Nobody Came nobody has come for you, and nobody will. When a survivor is placed unto a hook by the killer, 2/2/3 other survivors are afflicted with the blindness status effect for a duration of 15/20/25 seconds. This has a cooldown of 30 seconds so it cannot be triggered twice in a row on two survivors. ”YOU FUCKING BASTARD!” - Mark Heathcliff Scourge hook: existential dread at the start of a trial up to 4 random hooks are changed into scourge hooks. Hooking a survivor on these scourge hooks causes a 14/17/20 meter terror radius to be put on that hooked survivor, this terror radius persists for 10/15/20 seconds after being unhooked ”i know what you love…i know what you dread.” - Satan Omnipresent whenever you are given the undetectable status effect it will persist for 8/10/12 seconds longer than usual. Survivors who are inside your terror radius once it returns will scream and reveal their location for 4/5/6 seconds ”i am inside your home” - The Intruder Add ons: Brown: Babies rattle: a rattle that has since lost its sound, it has initials on it that read ‘A.M.’ decreases disguise cooldown by 2 seconds Police sketch: a police sketch of a home invader, reported to be called ‘the intruder’. Very Rare Add-Ons: Emptied Pistol and Bloodied Badge "Let me in, Mark..." -Cesar Torres "I'm still alive, but part of me doesn't want to be." -Lieutenant Thatcher Davis
i think the only problem with DBD killers being capable of turning into survivors is that, most if not all survivors are on comms. Meaning they will know who is the killer no matter if you play it really well. I wish the game could somehow mute the mics if this hypothetical killer was who they were against. STILL! very good music, love it!
“Therefore, this is what the LORD says: I am about to bring on them disaster that they cannot escape. They will cry out to me, but I will not hear them” (Jeremiah 11:11. )
as a concept, what if the killer is an alternate and gabriel is assisting as an invisible force, wearing down survivors through insanity, causing them to be incapable of distinguishing survivors and killers, not only does the killers red stain disappear, but all players now have a terror radius and coming into contact with other survivors causes a fake damage tick. The gimmick isn't that the killer is hiding amongst the survivors, it's that they're indistinguishable from the survivors.
Everyone’s talking about this as a shapeshifter type of killer, I think it’d be more interesting to see if play into the mental distress aspect. Kind of like onryo where if you don’t do something specific to this killer to “calm down” or “catch yourself” or whatever, it ends up killing you
I play dbd but I’m not sure about if this would work like when you get an distress meter it plays whisper sounds the more meter it’s gets the louder the whispers get and when the meters full you end yourself it’s a little like in the series
On the same note of ARG candidates for DBD, it would be hilarious to see what they could do with Freedom from monument mythos. 200 ft of bronze scaled down to 10 with the same amount of killing power when she fell from the capitol building.
As a huge dbd and overall horror fan this would be such a fantastic addition. The chase music slaps but I'd also be absolutely terrified if I heard that coming towards me, especially considering Gabriel's power - a much more holy looking killer is terrifying to think about, and would be perfect for the entity. The art also really fits what I'd imagine as well, just the very menacing but obviously divine being. I feel like in a way he'd be similar to doctor with non-lethal attacks to increase madness and once a survivor has a high enough madness then Gabriel can form an alternate
i had an idea for 3 perks for Gabriel. their probably not good since i literally just slapped them together in like 30 minutes lmao Psychological Warfare: You know how to tear your victims down mentally, to let them do the work for you. after being stunned by a pallet, the affected survivor gets a 5% Movement penalty for 5 seconds. Wrong Choice: No matter what they do, it'll always be wrong. if a survivor completes a generator while another is hooked, the survivor who completed the generator will be revealed for 20 seconds. open your eyes: There was never enough room for the 2 of us. when 1 survivor is left in the trial, the survivor will let out a scream and be exposed for 15 seconds ANYWAY on another topic, i'd love to see analog horror represented in DBD if that's something their willing to go after
@@xeskeyjetski That statement makes no sense. If, say, multiple people are working on a gen, then one of them getting swapped out would be detrimental, especially if the Killer is nowhere near the objective.
The face warping looks so goofy I half want to laugh But other half is terrified There's always been something very wrong and unnerving about it, even in very original
Bro!!! If Mandela Catalogue was ever added into Dead by Daylight, I would lose my absolute shit!!! I would be a Jonah main and never change characters or buy him cosmetics, frothing at the mouth feral type shit!!! 😩💖

"The entity did not take us. We. Took IT, and we made the ultimate bargain upon its realm. And thus, we shall prey upon you with endless sway on our behest! Now, who is the real you? You are not... Are you?"
I had a few ideas so i'll lay them out here (note: i have never played dbd ever) Name: The Liar or The Deceiver. Main ability: Can shapeshift into any survivor. In this form he can choose to whisper. If he basic attacks, he exits the form. In this form Gabriel is also little wonky one might say. Passive: MADNESS. This is inflicted by whispering or the chosen survivor seeing Gabriel morphed as them. Madness is a scale from 0 - 100, which changes the colors on the screen (i.e. the contrast, the brightness, sometimes inverting the colors, making them monochrome, ect), creating false noises at random, randomly screaming revealing the survivors aura for 2 seconds, messing with the movement speed and eventually making the survivor move at random. The more madness the more intense these effects get. Upon reaching a certain level the survivor gets knocked down and cant do anything until a minute passes or a suvivor helps them up, leaving them at 10 madness. Madness is decreased whenever you are away from Gabriel if you are at 10 madness or lower, past which it lowers slower. When at 40 madness or lower being around other survivors lowers the madness aswell, which lowers slowly until 80 at which this has no effect. Until 80 madness if you are doing cooperative tasks with other survivors madness lowers. Past 80 and you're kinda fucked. That's all i've got.
I think he would be an eccelent skin for Sadako, maybe reskinning her cursed TVs with the other ones but with the guy we often see the face in TVs in the Mandela Catalogue
Mark Heathcliff is an enduring witness, able to withstand the torments of the killers where others would have fallen long before. He comes with 3 unique perks: Lionheart, Close Encounters, and Boon: Lockdown -------------------- *Lionheart* *Prolonged experience to your tormentor’s tactics have hardened your will to not be phased by them* After being in the terror radius of the killer without being chased for 20/17/14 seconds Lionheart activates, you see the aura of all survivors within the terror radius for 5 seconds, your healing and unhooking speed is increased by 50/75/100%, and you can suppress loud noise notifications and the urge to scream. If a dying or hooked survivor is also within the killers terror radius, Lionheart activates in half the time “You fucking bastard!” - Mark ------------------ *Close Encounters* *You are no stranger to the paranormal, while you did not understand it before, reflection may yet reveal a weakness* After recovering from the dying state or being unhooked Close Encounters activates, your rushed actions are 10/15/20% faster and you can pallet stun the killer for 5/10/20% longer. Healing or unhooking other survivors temporarily grants these affects to both players until they are hit “Him” - Mark Heathcliff, age 6 ------------------ * Boon: lockdown* *Running away is not an option for now, sometimes it’s best to try to weather the storm as long as you can* Boon: Hideaway will create a radius of 8/12/16 meters around it. If the killer enters this radius all survivors will see the killers aura for 2/3/3 seconds. Survivors who were in the radius when this perk activates will temporarily have silenced footsteps and breathing. This radius is effected by open handed and other aura reading status effects “It followed me home Cesar” - Mark ------------------
Jonah Marshall is a cautious investigator. He can keep tabs on the condition of other survivors and make a quick getaway when things turn awry. He comes with 3 unique perks: Teamwork: Surveillance, GTFO, and This is Really Happening -------------------- *Teamwork: Surveillance* *You can effectively relay information with other survivors to know where the killer is at all times* After working with another survivor on a generator for 10 seconds Teamwork: Surveillance activates. When either of you have direct line of sight with the killer you will see the survivor’s and killer’s aura. This perk deactivates on that survivor once they are put into chase. “adam trying to fix the car while I eat chips LMAO” - Jonah ------------------- *GTFO* *you’re not going to wait around until you get killed. When things get dicey you grab everyone and book it* GTFO activates when another survivor is damaged by the killer. You will receive a 3/4/5% haste buff for 10 seconds and all other survivors within the terror radius at that time will receive a 1/2/3% haste buff for 10 seconds. Additionally all survivors will see the aura of the nearest window and nearest pallet. This perk will then go on cooldown for 30 seconds. “If by some miracle you come back out I don’t think you’d be yourself and I am telling you right now that I won’t be there to confirm that” - Jonah ------------------- *This is Really Happening* *The realization of imminent danger fuels your urgency to escape* When a survivor is injured or loses a health state by any means This is Really Happening gains a token up to 30 tokens. When a survivor is hooked gain a repair speed bonus and Skill check frequency increase equal to the amount of tokens you have for 5/10/12 seconds with a transaction rate of 1% per token. Being put into second hook state doubles your tokens “Nothing happened and I get it but this right here is real” - Jonah
Sad part is that regardless of how cool the killer could be, a discord call is all it takes toss it in the trash. Survivor mimicry would be so awesome tho

I can see the chase theme start off holy sounding before distorting and becoming frantic as he grows closer.
The closest we got to that is trickster. well his clothing at least

They could make it where the survived gets frozen or something like that and he appears next to them whispering in their ears and then they like die or something happens then they die or something like that
I don't care how completely out of question getting Gabriel into DBD would be, this theme slaps
I mean we have Laura Croft now so
I don't play DBD, but having a killer that can even temporarily turn into an approximation of another survivor that you have to actually *_LOOK_* at to see the difference is actually a terrifying concept
These sorts of powers are always really cool on paper but in practice they get countered entirely by just being in a Discord call while playing with your friends, since you'll all immediately know who the fake survivor is.

extra modification ideas, going off of the idea that the mimic accuracy is based off of a power levelling system (similar to michael myers). differences are of course random and the differences i list are meant to be separate, not combined with any others.
t1:
survivor is ridiculously stretched out to move like gabriel's model, refer to 'model swapping'
survivor has no shadows casted on it, causing the model to look very bright, 2d, and out of place
survivor is tposing, gabriel doesn't know how to load in the animations 💀
t2:
arms and legs are swapped, disguise would look like a survivor running on their hands with leg "arms"
survivor has a slightly larger head, and has that glitchy mandela catalogue extended eye effect. eyes are shiny enough to be seen even in the dark but may stand out less in brighter areas
survivor disguise is perfect but a constant buzzing noise plays next to the disguise that randomly moves around. imagine a fly stuck in a cup and that cup is a small area around you, about 1-2m? it'd really be a giveaway, but if you are travelling in a group, nobody will trust eachother. distrust might be more powerful than deception.
t3:
survivor wields gabriel's weapon as if it was a survivor item, if gabriel doesn't have a weapon, then a kitchen knife will do just fine. if this doesn't fit in with t3 enough, it can be a bent/distorted survivor item, for example a medkit that has a bump/dent in it.
survivor's grunts are of the wrong character, but are of the same gender. this modification would only appear when a survivor is injured since normal breathing is very challenging to tell apart.
survivor either does not bleed when injured, or bleeds when healthy. the disguise blood will be tinted green specifically for the killer so that they don't run in circles chasing their own blood
This is awesome dude, I can just imagine his appearance warping the closer he gets to the survivor, shifting from a beautiful, divine figure to his more true and twisted self
Imo his name should probably be “The Seraph” or “The Deceiver”

Gabriel in Dead by Daylight:
Killer Name: The Angel (idk i'm not THAT creative, i just call Gabriel "Gabriel" for the rest of this idea)
Power: Metaphysical Domination
Description:
Born from the depths of malevolent consciousness, Gabriel is a relentless harbinger of despair, an embodiment of twisted desires whose power, "Metaphysical Domination," weaves a web of psychological torment that wraps survivors in the suffocating embrace of their own fears.
Mental Fatigue can build by three methods:
1) Passively - When a survivor performs any action that can be performed cooperatively alone*, the survivor gains mental fatigue slowly.
Mental Fatigue can be brought down by three methods:
1) When a survivor is in close proximity with another survivor, mental fatigue drops slowly.
2) When a survivor is performing a cooperative action with another survivor, mental fatigue drops moderately. (*Increases with survivor count on gen)
3) When a survivor is performing a healing action or is receiving healing from another survivor, mental fatigue drops greatly.
Mental Fatigue has 4 Tiers (kinda like doctor, kinda) any tier above has it affects active as well as tiers below, except when mentioned again with use case in parenthesis
Tier 1 - False Distance theme plays
Tier 2 - False Skill Check Warning cue whilst performing cooperative actions (Or creates false skill checks with add-on), Alerts Gabriel via Metaphysical Awareness (Killer Instinct)
Tier 3 - Metaphysical Awareness (Aura + audio queue), afflicts oblivious
Tier 4 - Afflicts Exposed, Metaphysical Awareness (Longer Aura + audio queue 2)
Gabriel is basically an ALTERNATE sadako (:
get it... get it,.... i spent like 3 hours on this, literally no one is gonna read this dawg lol 😭😭
*Edit: LOOOOOONG time type that @musicalmaniac2901 pointed out long ago, I meant to say "When a survivor performs any action that can be performed cooperatively alone*" and not a cooperative action in general
ALSO THANK YOU ALL FOR THE LOVE AND SUPPORT, YOU ALL ARE SO AMAZING
I read it, and I think it's actually really cool! It's like how many people thought legion was going to be before they came out. My only concern is the "Number 1" way to gain mental fatigue and the "Number 2" way to lose mental fatigue. It seems as if survivors gain and lose mental fatigue by doing cooperative actions, so that may need a patch.
It would be also cool for him that people would start to see gim distorted and scareier whem they have high mental fatigue
Also I think his perks should be:
T.H.I.N.K.:
Not really sure what this would do
Nothing is Worth the Risk:
While carrying a survivor, your terror radius will be reduced by 50%.
Any survivors within the terror radius at this time will slowly receive Mental Fatigue (it will stack while on Gabriel)
Scourge Hook: False Shepherd:
After you hook the obsession on a Scourge Hook, your terror radius will be moved onto the Scourge Hook and you will become undetectable until the obsession is unhooked
Thats só Nice bro

I agree with the vocals at the end, maybe more akin to Doom Eternals chants like "KAR EN TUK"
Here are some perk ideas
Unknown intruder- you know to hide where they think is safe.
After searching a locker for the next 30/45/60 seconds you gain the undetectable status effect. This perk has a 100 second cooldown.
Nothing is worth the risk- you make mortals only look out for only them self.
When the exit gate is not being powered it will slowly regress to 50%/25%/0%
Unsafe space: Let me in- no one can resist their fate to come.
Several lockers become unsafe spaces these lockers are highlighted in white to you.
After a survivor exits, an unsafe locker their aura is revealed to you for 8/9/10 seconds.
“ let me in Mark. I have a surprise.”- Cesar Torres?

Unholy truth- those who seek the truth, die to regret it.
when a survivor sees your aura, they scream, revealing their location and receive the blindness and oblivious status effect for 30 seconds this perk has a 90/75/60 second cooldown
“ who have I been praying to this whole time”- Mark Heathcliff
Maybe Unsafe Lockers could have it so survivors who attempt to enter it have the locker be blocked off by the entity and their location secretly revealed to the killer

Nothing is worth the risk sounds like such a cool perk idea
Honestly, the unsafe Space idea, being like a Scourge Hook for Lockers, I think That's really cool, though a bit lacking, since survivors rarely use lockers unless they're the last one. An Idea for a replacement perk:

I don’t play the game or consume Mandela media, but this legit put me in a state of high alert, so you have to have nailed it.
Same, I know basically nothing Mandela catalogue related, but this gives me chills
Nice!
it would be really cool if the power Works with Voice
and like, imagine if in the game , he use your mic to see if you speak, and you gain something like "fear" or other status, it would be way more good and make voice chat more terryfying, and make it EVEN more scary and good
From running from a serial killer

I play dbd and that would be INSANE to have in the game, i can just imagine what inexperienced survivors in vc would think :
"Hye man come with me i found a gen"
"ok where you at"
"wdym you're following me rn"
"No.... i am not"
*panic ensues*
the silliness is over the top with this one, gaslighting your friends into thinking they're safe, mmm delightfully *"angelic"*
I think it might actually go like this:

"where are you?"
"near the middle of the map i think"

Instead of Gabriel, his name should be "The Deceiver", since he is not really Gabriel but Satan. Plus it would be interesting for the Observer say something like "The Entity didnt summoned him, he invited him, its possible that even, they are very similar beings with similar origins..." Since y'know, origin of all evil etc
That unhinged garbling in the extra portion reminds me of M.A.D, and I don't know if that was the intention but I LOVE it. It really does add to the whole concept in a really clever and possibly unintentional way.

Theme becoming less heavenly and more threatening as Gaberiel approach really seems like good detail
Hear me out:
~ You put the survivor on the Hook.
Or collapse or something like that.
as a side ability Gabriel should be able to copy people avatars and should look more distorted as the game progresses
I imagine it as Gabriel whispers in their ear and the survivor offs themself
Nah he’d probably just make them kill themselves
Maybe instead, Gabriel is invisible to everyone but the Survivor
It is the least expected chase music for me, and yet, it is an absolute banger
Mori idea:
Screen zooms in on the downed survivor's face and they blink. the area around them becoming all static and warping as the killer approaches.
I imagine the(base) form would have flowing hair made of TV static, the permanent unsettling smug smile in the background, the long oddly stainless gown, I can also see him making hand gestures in his idol animation, then you meet him… his eyes and pupils grow unusually big and you see that he is no savior, no god, or angle, but another monster pretending to be human.
this actually sounds like a movie climax/villain reveal right before credits roll

This is a chapter we never knew we needed but we now need it.
Can we get the DBD devs to see this? This is incredible
I thought of a very cool mechanic for gabriel. Although its not fleshed out as i just though of this right now but here goes.
Gabriel has the ability to send out an alternate of a random survivor (including thise who already died) to do one of the following (you can only have 2 at a time):
*Walk (run during chase) towards a designated place
* "Work" on a generator (does no progress) (global range) (will not activate if someone is already there unless you use a certain add on. If not, you will just waste your ability button)
*Stand still
The alternate disappears after a certain amount of time.
Insanity 1: slower action speed, increased terror radius for gabriel
Insanity 2: insanity 1 + survivors and alternates now have a terror radius.
Insanity 3: Insanity 2 + alternates now injure the survivor
Insanity 4: Insanity 3 + aura is revealed to gabriel in a 15 meter radius
Survivors can "calm down" when at insanity 3 and 4 to reduce their insanity state back to insanity 1.
Mark's gun (add on): if the survivor is on death hook, a timer begins to count down if the survivor reaches insanity 4 (does not activate during chase). If the timer reaches zero, the survivor drops their item (if they have one), grabs a gun that manifest in the ground, and you know what happens next.
[Dont know a name for this one] (add on or perk): if a survivor is sacrificed or dies (via mori or killer based kills), that survivors ui will appear as "injured" until another survivor is downed
[Don't know what to name for this one 2] (add on): if a survivor is inflicted with insanity 3, that survivor will occasionally see an illusion of gabriel standing in the corner or behind something
better doctor btw xd
and my idea for your concept alternate use survivor aura effect and block it for original surv.

God fucking damn- This whole track is super haunting, and the chase sections are SO TERRIFYINGLY GOOD
You absolutely nailed the vibe of this track, it really makes you feel like a god of deception is stalking you down
I adore how ethereal this sounds. As if it really is God who came down.
I think the Mori will go like this:
First Gabriel brings a light down from the sky, the survivor flips around to see the light and goes into a trance, eyes turn to static as slowly the light darkens and false angels come down and tear the survivor to shreds.
The idea that the Entity could just recruit Satan himself into its killing games is a horrifying thought.
Definitely a fan of the Extra Chase Music Variation, the addition of more incoherent vocals really makes it feel ominous.
After all,
You're already dead.
With that thumbnail i expected death by glamour to start playing ngl, why does bro look kinfa fabulous tho😭
I need him. So badly. I don’t care what anyone says.
Prepare to meet your inevitable fate."
Finally, we're treated to the slightly dissonant main theme, played on some low, sour sounding brass.
Perk ideas:
Open your eyes:
“We may never know why we’re truly here and that’s good.”
After an m1 hit the survivor becomes oblivious for 30sec.
False god:
“Don’t be deceived by his wings of jewels, he’s no angel.”
During the start of the game if the survivors find you (like start a chase) they are exposed for 15/20sec.
It’s never worth the risk:
“Just leave him! It’s not worth the risk!”
When you hook a survivor and the exit gates are opened every survivor becomes revealed permanently. Until no survivors are hooked.
Survivor Mark Heathcliff
The surprise is a lie:
“Never open the door under any circumstances”
When you are in a locker if the killer is near you (10/12 meters) they are revealed.
Patience is key: “I’ve had a lot of time on my hands with these guys, yet there still as deadly”
When you are in a locker you recover from exhaustion 50% faster.
Braver than most: “When you open that door you better be ready”
When the exit gates are opened you get a 5% speed boost and unhook 100% faster.
"MACHINE, I KNOW YOU'RE HERE, WHEN I FIND YOU I WILL TEAR YOU APART."

1:58
“Pray for the mayo, Wake up full of mayo, Prey full of mayo, Nothing but the mayo”
i actually made an alternate concept but it was more focused on the general species of alternates
Killer name-
The Alternate
Origin-
the alternates are an unknown species of demon created by satan himself.
Killer Weapon: Unwanted Words
the alternate possesses no weapon, instead it raises its hand and whisper incomprehensible words, its lunge animation simply has it step forward and speak louder whispers. Despite no physical harm coming to the survivor, they will appear injured
Hit Animation-
the alternate brings its hand back as it laughs, whispering a single phrase “nothing is worth the risk”
Killer Basics-
115% speed
tall (7-8 feet)
32 meters
Chase music-
Chase
Killer Power: Metaphysical Awareness Disorder (M.A.D.)
a cruel disorder brought on by the presence of an alternate
Special Ability: disguise
pressing and holding the ability button (LT, for xbox).
Tier three: the real obsession will now have a 24 meter terror radius that can only be heard by survivors who are in tier three
Tier four: the survivor will become exposed and their aura revealed for 7 seconds
the alternates disguise will be broken if they attack a survivor, grab a survivor, or are stunned out of it. Survivors can rid themselves of M.A.D. by praying, this takes 12 seconds and gives them up to 5 difficult skill checks and will remove one M.A.D tier, only available during tier two of M.A.D and onwards. Disguise has a 20 second cooldown
Special Ability: Mimicry
this ability is only usable when disguised. There is a 4 second window where you cannot attack after stopping a mimicry action
Special Ability: radiowaves
the alternates final ability. Only usable when not disguised, press and hold the secondary ability button (LB on xbox) to slowly fill the M.A.D. gauges of survivors within your terror radius, this decreases your movement speed to 105%
Killer Mori-
the survivor stands up as the alternate takes their form.
Perks:
Nobody Came
nobody has come for you, and nobody will. When a survivor is placed unto a hook by the killer, 2/2/3 other survivors are afflicted with the blindness status effect for a duration of 15/20/25 seconds. This has a cooldown of 30 seconds so it cannot be triggered twice in a row on two survivors.
”YOU FUCKING BASTARD!” - Mark Heathcliff
Scourge hook: existential dread
at the start of a trial up to 4 random hooks are changed into scourge hooks. Hooking a survivor on these scourge hooks causes a 14/17/20 meter terror radius to be put on that hooked survivor, this terror radius persists for 10/15/20 seconds after being unhooked
”i know what you love…i know what you dread.” - Satan
Omnipresent
whenever you are given the undetectable status effect it will persist for 8/10/12 seconds longer than usual. Survivors who are inside your terror radius once it returns will scream and reveal their location for 4/5/6 seconds
”i am inside your home” - The Intruder
Add ons:
Brown:
Babies rattle: a rattle that has since lost its sound, it has initials on it that read ‘A.M.’ decreases disguise cooldown by 2 seconds
Police sketch: a police sketch of a home invader, reported to be called ‘the intruder’. Increases the rate survivors M.A.D gauges fill by 5%
empty casing: an empty bullet casing belonging to a glock 17, found in mark heathcliffs bedroom. Increases movement speed while using radiowaves by 5%

broken camera: a broken camera from the torres’ home, its not salvageable. Increase movement speed while using radiowaves by 9%
old TV: an old TV, not broken but not powered. When a survivor enters tier two of M.A.D you gain a 7% speed boost for 15 seconds
unused bullet: a fresh unused bullet from a standard issue police handgun. Only the obsession will see the static on your face while you are disguised.
Purple:
Mothers Noose: she was distraught at the sight of her missing infant. Hooking the obsession will immediately raise the M.A.D gauge of all survivors in your terror radius by 15%
working TV: a working old school TV, a face sometimes flickers on it. Your obsession becomes blinded for 30 seconds after using disguise
bitten apple: the apple eve took from the tree, it radiates with madness. Increases the rate survivors M.A.D gauge fills by 15%
empty gun: an empty pistol found inside mark heathcliff's bedroom. When exiting disguise mode all survivors in your terror radius scream and reveal their location for 5 seconds
Red:
iridescent Bible: a holy scripture forged by the fog itself, it contains the words of the false shepard. Increases disguise cooldown by 10 seconds, upon using your disguise the obsession will gain your terror radius and appear with the black static on their face, all survivors within 12 meters of the obsession slowly fill their M.A.D gauge
Corrupted Video footage: video footage from the torres home, you can barely make out a figure in the corrupted mess. Every 60 seconds in the trial a random survivor will appear as having black static over their face for 20 seconds, survivors within 10 meters of the afflicted survivor suffer from the blindness and obvlious status for 25 seconds

i think the only problem with DBD killers being capable of turning into survivors is that, most if not all survivors are on comms. as a concept, what if the killer is an alternate and gabriel is assisting as an invisible force, wearing down survivors through insanity, causing them to be incapable of distinguishing survivors and killers, not only does the killers red stain disappear, but all players now have a terror radius and coming into contact with other survivors causes a fake damage tick.
The gimmick isn't that the killer is hiding amongst the survivors, it's that they're indistinguishable from the survivors.
Gabriel’s killer name would absolutely be ‘The Deceiver’
Everyone’s talking about this as a shapeshifter type of killer, I think it’d be more interesting to see if play into the mental distress aspect. Kind of like onryo where if you don’t do something specific to this killer to “calm down” or “catch yourself” or whatever, it ends up killing you
I play dbd but I’m not sure about if this would work like when you get an distress meter it plays whisper sounds the more meter it’s gets the louder the whispers get and when the meters full you end yourself it’s a little like in the series
You already know this finna be a dope track once a popular character is involved.

Psychological Warfare:
You know how to tear your victims down mentally, to let them do the work for you. after being stunned by a pallet, the affected survivor gets a 5% Movement penalty for 5 seconds.

No matter what they do, it'll always be wrong. if a survivor completes a generator while another is hooked, the survivor who completed the generator will be revealed for 20 seconds.

Bro!!! If Mandela Catalogue was ever added into Dead by Daylight, I would lose my absolute shit!!! I would be a Jonah main and never change characters or buy him cosmetics, frothing at the mouth feral type shit!!! 😩💖
jonahs red teir item is called bag of chips
REAL but i do feel like jonah would be less likely to get added than mark and adam, just a hunch but i would absolutely be a jonah main too lmao. bet his perks would be escape related
If this were to ever be real, this would be a horrifying concept.
Fun fact Gabriel is in the pose of i think it was baphomet pointing with one hand to the hevens and the other the earth
"The entity did not take us. We. Took IT, and we made the ultimate bargain upon its realm. And thus, we shall prey upon you with endless sway on our behest! Now, who is the real you? You are not... Are you?"
I had a few ideas so i'll lay them out here (note: i have never played dbd ever)
Name: The Liar or The Deceiver.
New survivor concepts: Mark Heathcliff and Jonah Marshal (perks below in replies)
Mark Heathcliff is an enduring witness, able to withstand the torments of the killers where others would have fallen long before. He comes with 3 unique perks: Lionheart, Close Encounters, and Boon: Lockdown
--------------------
*Lionheart*
*Prolonged experience to your tormentor’s tactics have hardened your will to not be phased by them*
After being in the terror radius of the killer without being chased for 20/17/14 seconds Lionheart activates, you see the aura of all survivors within the terror radius for 5 seconds, your healing and unhooking speed is increased by 50/75/100%, and you can suppress loud noise notifications and the urge to scream. If a dying or hooked survivor is also within the killers terror radius, Lionheart activates in half the time
“You fucking bastard!” - Mark
------------------
*Close Encounters*
*You are no stranger to the paranormal, while you did not understand it before, reflection may yet reveal a weakness*
After recovering from the dying state or being unhooked Close Encounters activates, your rushed actions are 10/15/20% faster and you can pallet stun the killer for 5/10/20% longer. Healing or unhooking other survivors temporarily grants these affects to both players until they are hit
“Him” - Mark Heathcliff, age 6
------------------
* Boon: lockdown*
*Running away is not an option for now, sometimes it’s best to try to weather the storm as long as you can*
Boon: Hideaway will create a radius of 8/12/16 meters around it. If the killer enters this radius all survivors will see the killers aura for 2/3/3 seconds. Survivors who were in the radius when this perk activates will temporarily have silenced footsteps and breathing. This radius is effected by open handed and other aura reading status effects
“It followed me home Cesar” - Mark
------------------
Jonah Marshall is a cautious investigator. He can keep tabs on the condition of other survivors and make a quick getaway when things turn awry. He comes with 3 unique perks: Teamwork: Surveillance, GTFO, and This is Really Happening
--------------------
*Teamwork: Surveillance*
*You can effectively relay information with other survivors to know where the killer is at all times*
After working with another survivor on a generator for 10 seconds Teamwork: Surveillance activates. When either of you have direct line of sight with the killer you will see the survivor’s and killer’s aura. This perk deactivates on that survivor once they are put into chase.
“adam trying to fix the car while I eat chips LMAO” - Jonah
-------------------
*GTFO*
*you’re not going to wait around until you get killed. When things get dicey you grab everyone and book it*
GTFO activates when another survivor is damaged by the killer.
“If by some miracle you come back out I don’t think you’d be yourself and I am telling you right now that I won’t be there to confirm that” - Jonah
-------------------
*This is Really Happening*
*The realization of imminent danger fuels your urgency to escape*
When a survivor is injured or loses a health state by any means This is Really Happening gains a token up to 30 tokens. When a survivor is hooked gain a repair speed bonus and Skill check frequency increase equal to the amount of tokens you have for 5/10/12 seconds with a transaction rate of 1% per token. Being put into second hook state doubles your tokens
“Nothing happened and I get it but this right here is real” - Jonah
Sad part is that regardless of how cool the killer could be, a discord call is all it takes toss it in the trash. Survivor mimicry would be so awesome tho
I love the "Hey, listen" in the chase part.
During the Chase part i swear i could hear "N'ayez pas peur" which translates to "Do not be afraid" in french
I am afraid
Such a unique chase theme, gives off the feeling of inescapable doom. Great job dude
DBD said "can I borrow your homework?"
Was wondering if anyone else was thinking it lol
I do play dbd and I must say that the song gave me goosebumps! I wish they would release a killer with a song like that
I love how you can hear him say "Wake up Joseph" at the end
