Loved this so much! It made me sign up to the Coppermind and want to throw my hat in the ring for being a part of of 17th Shard Yours truly Storming Teft's temper
Why Dor? WHY?!?! Remember in shadows of self when Wayne goes to a bar and invents cocktails for everyone. Magic. Still waiting for the day we talk about the aftermath of mistborn era 2. Brandon' said he writing a Rysn novella between Oathbringer and ROW in july then either Skyward 3 or Wax and Wayne 4. I really want that ending.
If two shards going to a planet together might imply that they have some sort of a relationship pre-Shattering, what would Leras and Ari's relationship be?
I would guess they were together simply because they were opposites, and together could make the planet and peoples that they created. That's just my guess though 🤷♂️
Sycla looks a lot like the word/name Scylla. Who coincidentally shares water straight with Charybdis over tides and sailors. I wonder if the geography is partly inspired by Greece/Italy. The map does somewhat look like a misshapen Mediterranean sea.
I like to think of the 3° empire as an arquipelago empire, mostly because island empires are cool, tho there are some problems with that, mostly how island empires are hard to maintain, how they likely would have good enough boats to interact w/ the other empires and how we already have sixth of the dusk on the cosmere. still, island empires are cool
Something interesting to note about Sel is that due to its increased size and gravitational pull, escape from the planet via rocket technology would likely be impossible, meaning they have a difficult time getting off the planet in both physically and cognitively
The Maya and descendants of the Incan-ruled peoples are not extinct. The Mayan civilization fell, the people didn't disappear any more than Italians stopped existing because Rome fell. Evgeni is apparently thinking of the Taino people of the Caribbean.

Cant wait for the Sel magic systems podcast!
Yeah, we really ought to do that. -Eric
Doing the Sel episode without Ian? I see what y’all are doing
When we recorded this, Ian was moving into a new apartment and he did not actually have internet :( I would have loved him to be here! -Eric
just wobbling around
Evgeni would be a weird Hulk. "The more peevish and sardonic I get, the stronger I get!"
UNLIMITED POWAAAAH
Sel becoming a cognitive planet? Sel=future Type IV BioChromatic entity confirmed!
This is deep lore. I gotta get reading!

Evgeni just doesn't know his history
How did this episode happen without Ian???
He actually didn't have internet the weekend we had to record! -Eric
Saw this seconds after it was uploaded, but metokur was streaming about Chinese flying AIDS, so metokur takes precedence.
52:25 WIT??????????
If the jewlery info is not on the blog anymore is it still canon?
Also Jazz-nuh for me. Always!
Dude, your voice is so offensive. I want to watch these videos but i get about 5 seconds in and remember, "oh yeah; this guy is unbearable"
Yeah, sorry, I'm not changing my voice for a small subset of people :) Sorry it doesn't work for you! -Eric
