Your commitment to helping others by sharing your designs and the fact that you make it look so simple is second to no one! Just your information on what wires to use and when was enough to make a huge difference with me!

    What a lovely idea! Now I'm going to try it with some of my odd shaped beads! It's always fun to try to stretch yourself and that'll do it! Thank you for such a clear demo!

    APPRECIATE this demo! The first one I made will be given to someone who doesn't do wire work.
    The next one was better with the third looking much more passible. All are for the holidays. THANKS!

    Really lovely little pendants. ..You have cured me of my wire weaving mental block lol...since watching you I"m actually doing this stuff and I am going to do this one next as I have the right kind of gemstones to do this (I've also ordered a heap of cabochons. ..amethyst and rose quartz mainly and some nice pink wire like in your video alkng with a lovely aubergine/dark purplish red so I can't wait to get started! ! ( I was just supposed to be ordering pearls, some tools and some silver and copper PMC but now I have ordered a ton of wire and cabochons. ...They're going to need a whole truck for this lot!

      @AnneAndersonFoxiepaws 7 лет назад

      OxanaCrafts got some lovely ideas from you. ..I think I need to work on my tension a bit before attempting to use anything other than copper...but I am beginning to really like the look of copper so it won't be a hardship because I think I prefer it for my own jewellery.

    I've recently come across your videos and I love how you show how to do the art of wiring. I love this one. Would there be a way to do this one with a ston that doesn't have a hole? I'd love to try it on a stone I have, but it doesn't have holes.

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  2 года назад

      This particular one is for beads only, but I have others that are for cabochons (stones with no hole), this one also has a rose up top: ruclips.net/video/jNQDp_W0PpU/видео.html

    Hey Oxana!
    First off thank you so much for all of your videos and tutorials. They have truly changed my life and helped me improve on my jewelry making hobby without being overwhelmed and intimidated.
    I was hoping to pick your brain about my biggest hurdle right now with oxidizing. I feel like no matter how long I use steel wool to polish and highlight but I can never get the blackest parts brightened again or in the crevasses do you have advice on getting the blackest parts brighter and looking clean? Thank you so much in advance!

    • @OxanaCrafts
      @OxanaCrafts  4 года назад

      Usually the crevices remain dark and that is what gives it dimension :)

    Can you use this technique with a front drilled stone? (BTW, I have watched and loved all your tutorials. You inspired me to start wrapping my stones I want to wear. Previously, I thought I had to wear them in a pouch, which was not very appropriate all the time.)

    Is the purple you used, Purple or Magenta? Because the Magenta is a Purple also? Thanks Oxana :)

    • @OxanaCrafts

      It is Purple, the Magenta has more red tones in it, and the Purple more cool tones.

  • @tinageiger6560
    @tinageiger6560 7 лет назад

    Having now tried this a couple times I've discovered that what you don't explain is that it is CRITICAL that the bail be shaped so that it ends at the very top of the bead or you will be starting the frame weave BELOW where you need to be in order to create a fully round frame. Important detail. :-)

    • @OxanaCrafts

      they are just gemstone beads, for the round ones if you search for coin beads you will find them. You can get them on etsy, ebay, or Michael's/ACMoore

      You can find them online, that is where I get mine, also you can check michael's or acmoore, sometimes they have coin beads like these, once time I found some there. Otherwise search for coin gemstone beads online and lots of options will pop up for you.

    • @OxanaCrafts

      20 gauge for base wires, 26 or 28 gauge(either will work, but 28 is a little easier) for weaving
