Questa canzone rappresenta la colonna sonora della mia gioventù e di tutta la mia intera vita. Probabilmente non passa giorno che non l'ascolti almeno una volta.
This is the best version of this song I have ever heard him or anyone sing. The more pitched nasal voice of his youth has been replaced by a more mature fluid wider lower range. He brings an urgency and passion to the song that brings it alive in ways I have not felt for years. I think his singing and presence on this tour might be his best singing ever in his career. It helps one remember what a truly astonishing songwriter, singer and artist this man is. We were blessed to live in the same era as Bob Dylan.
Yeah, these versions, in some cases very different versions, are great openings into how great he was live, how perfect and appropriate his vocals were for the songs, contrary to popular opinion. It became essentially cool to make fun of bob Dylan vocals years ago, and like most popular humor (or music), it isn't actually funny (or good, in the case of genuinely popular music) but sad. It's sad to know huge numbers of droolers listen to Taylor swift and make fun of a great person like this. But hey, more for me
His reworking it slightly here because of his age and vocal maturity gives it new life. i totally agree. That he could write hundreds like this is just mind boggling.

Into my own parade
Cast your dancing spell my way, I promise to go under it
Hey, Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song for me
I'm not sleepy and there is no place I'm going to
Hey, Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song for me
In the jingle jangle morning I'll come following you
Though you might hear laughing, spinning, swinging madly across the sun
It's not aimed at anyone
It's just escaping on the run
And but for the sky there are no fences facing
And if you hear vague traces of skipping reels of rhyme
To your tambourine in time
It's just a ragged clown behind
I wouldn't pay it any mind
It's just a shadow you're seeing that he's chasing
Hey, Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song for me
I'm not sleepy and there is no place I'm going to
Hey, Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song for me
In the jingle jangle morning I'll come following you
And take me disappearing through the smoke rings of my mind
Down the foggy ruins of time
Far past the frozen leaves
The haunted frightened trees
Out to the windy beach
Far from the twisted reach of crazy sorrow
Yes, to dance beneath the diamond sky
With one hand waving free
Silhouetted by the sea
Circled by the circus sands
With all memory and fate
Driven deep beneath the waves
Let me forget about today until tomorrow
Hey, Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song for me
I'm not sleepy and there is no place I'm going to
Hey, Mr. Tambourine Man, play a song for me
In the jingle jangle morning I'll come following you
