I just bought Kilburn II. It got very good sound quality. It's built of HQ materials, and working great. But there is one problem. When You try to use it with TV or laptop, after 10 minut of silence it go to standby (sleep), even when it's plugged in. And it will not turn itself on when you play something. You must click button by hand, which is very frustrating. Except that, it is nice product.
I received one today 🤩, there was no charge when i unboxed.. it was not turning on.. is that usual? , How long is it advised to charge before the first use? Please reply, thanks in advance:)
Move is both a Bluetooth and Wifi speaker while Kilburn is just a Bluetooth one. Move fits into the Sonos ecosystem while Kilburn is a standalone. You can access more features in Move through the Sonos App while Kilburn have their functions on the speaker itself. You should get depending on what you need - a smart speaker with an app or a speaker with controls on the speaker itself.

What is better for battery: keep it plugged to power source or let it uncharge to connect power again?

You should get a better mic to record your tests... And look for a very flat freq. response.
Love my Kilburn 2 and enjoy it way more than my cousin's stanmore 2 and even the sound quality sounds better than bose soundlink revolve plus
