Paul needs to know his lane. Whitney grew up with soul. She was the church. ALL of us from the church know soul. Bless you Nip
Who ever made that statement, there is no cure for stupid. This woman had more soul in her little finger than anyone during her time as a singer. Whitney was on a different level with her talent!!!!
Watch Her do "All the Man I Need" from her Welcome Home Heroes TV Special "Live"! You'll get what you're looking for. Everyone don't have to Contort their faces to make soulful sounds!!! That guy must not be a singer...maybe that's why he's so opinionated!!!
Of course she has soul she was brought up singing in a gospel choir from an early age. If you sing in a gospel choir you have soul.
Amen and Amen
👌
Whitney was the greatest female singer period. You can't be better than Whitney Houston and whoever Paul is he probably wouldn't know what soul is if it was right in front of him
Greatest singer of all time as far as I’m concerned.. there is NOBODY out now that comes close to her stratosphere.
Watch her live. The lady is soul. Greatest voice to ever have lived. All The Man I Need from the Homecoming Heroes concert. Red Dress. She slays the song, she slays music, she slays the audience.
👆🏾🙃THIS
He for some reason doesn’t react to people’s suggestions from here, unless you are a patreon and pay for it.
This comment says it all, also I am so happy Whitney acted and there are a few movies with her, what a talent. I really miss her. When she debuted in 1984, I was in high school, I was a witness to this voice when she first started. I really miss this lady and her voice
You said everything I was thinking. In fact, the video you suggested is the first thing I thought about

*The vocal elasticity, the vocal control, the melisma, the song interpretation, the velvety-honey like tone, the diction, the vocal power, the vibrato, the operatic head notes, the resonance, the breath control, the vocal sustainability, the vocal clarity, the vocal emotiveness, the stage presence... THE VOICE .....*
Whitney *'The Vocal Tsunami'* Houston......
Whitney *'Diamond Vocal Cords'* Houston.
....and the stage presence....the elegance....the epitome of the baby boomer generation....
I would love to pick your brain for awhile 😜 smart
@@CuirPhotodotNet and THE VOICE 👑
He said "I guess all 80's songs start off the same." This is NOT an 80's song....It's 90's ✅✅
Right lol
That is an insult 80s really
Also it’s mf Whitney Houston!!! She’s a genre of music all on her on! 💛
Exactly what I said out loud when he said that. While I do appreciate young people reaching back to understand and learn our wonderful music, it’s kinda irritating when they make statements about our music that aren’t true out of ignorance.
@@vegasbaby3669 Agree
She is the best female singer to ever exist simple
I’ve heard this song a million times and it still gives me chills when Whitney hits those notes. Unparalleled voice. She performed this live at an awards show and she has the same level of control. She was just a force of nature. Sorely missed.
Whitney’s voice is absolute perfection! She was such a beautiful woman, with the voice of an Angel. You definitely need to see her live. It’s perfection as well.
Her voice needs needs no words, That's why she's called the voice. It's from God undescribable. RIP Nippy we will always love you.🎙
This is from the 1992 film "The Bodyguard", starring Whitney and Kevin Costner. It is still the best selling soundtrack of all time in the US.
In the world not just the US!!!
There was a pristine quality to her studio recordings. But Whitney live was a whole different experience. She’d always switch it up for more 🔥!
I saw her in concert in the 80s and it was AMAZING!!!! There is no other like Whitney!!!
Love this song. My favorite by her. Kevin Costner picked her to be in the movie The Bodyguard. At her funeral he gave a beautiful speech about her.
Whitney was brilliant. One of the best voices ever. She knew how to emote so well. And she was so gorgeous. The Bodyguard is one of my mother's favorite movies, so i know this soundtrack by heart.
Yes! Her Beauty was out of this world. Gorgeous.
.....especially the subtle bearing....imagine this in a movie theater......30 ft by 30 ft......MAGNIFIED....
What does Paul know. 😂
NOTHING Apparently. 🤷🏽♀️
Whitney is one of the best vocalist ever! She hit those notes perfectly! Whitney touches your soul when she sings.
She was literally called The Voice and inspired almost all of the best soul singers out there now but she doesn't have soul? Okay, Paul. Ps. It's okay to call him wrong because he is.
Another beautiful soul gone too soon. Whitney was legendary!
The lady is a legend. She left us far too early.
She is one of the best live singers that has ever lived......She sings all her songs different and no artist can acclaim that!
One of my older brothers was a total metal lover and even he loved Whitney. Paul is an idiot to say she doesn't have soul.
Still makes me so so incredibly sad that she’s gone
Another One of the greatest female voices , ever ...
Yes, is the movie bodyguard with her and Kevin Costner ...
You cannot sing like that without soul, she feels all of her music. Who said that? They have no soul
Whitney has the BEST version of the national anthem ever made. React to that. Talk about effortless! A masterpiece. She is amazing live!
It’s nice to see you appreciate Whitney! You should definitely watch some of her live versions, they are way better than the studio recordings
One Moment In Time live at 1989 Grammy’s. It was a virtuoso performance.
Her live performances are phenomenal. There's Billboard 1993 I have nothing performance. All the man that I need live as well. Kelly Clarkson ain't want nothing on her.
Best voice all time
Whitney Houston IS soul!!
She was known for singing as if she was speaking. Best Vocalist of all time! She carry's those notes for long ranges.
Incredible song ❤️.Such a phenomenal voice. Her cover of "I Will Always Love You" always makes me shed a tear it's so beautiful. The Bodyguard is one of my favorite movies ever. The whole soundtrack is amazing ❤️
That’s the POWER of Whitney. You feel the words. It hits your soul and gives you chills.
I think she is beautiful and has a beautiful voice. I love her music but my favorite song that she ever sang and the only version I absolutely love, is her version of the National Anthem. She sang it beautifully and did not change it at all like most singers do to add their own twist to it. Beautiful singer!
The best ever 💙 the goat
She was so beautiful
Неповторимая Уитни Элизабет Хьюстон королева вокала! Волшебный бриллиантовый мощный красивый голос сильная красивая женщина сколько вней таланта энергии такой как она больше не будет не когда (
Soul. What is that? Is it the the incredible depth of emotion I feel when I listen to Whitney's live performances? Is it the way her control speaks to me, like as if she's singing directly to me and that this is how she reveals herself. This is how she reveals her soul and I totally relate to it. I love her soul. It's real and if you can't feel it, then that's fine but don't expect all soul to come in the same package or sound. It's a personal thing and not a generic style that were told it should be or sound like .... Soul...is where you find it
Oh brugh, I was BLESSED to see her in Denver, during the Bodyguard tour, and she sounds like an angel from heaven! VOICE clear as glass! Articulation and enunciation WAS ON POINT, and she wore us out fa 3 hours with 1 minute costume changes! The BEST concert I've been to by an ACTUAL SANGA! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Talent amazing beauty.
The Voice
If you want to see an amazing live performance of Whitney's, I strongly recommend the three-song medley she performed at the American Music Awards (AMAs) in 1994. It will blow your mind. She included 'I Have Nothing' in that medley, BTW. I think she received a standing ovation at that performance (and she did for other live performances at shows too). You don't receive standing ovations from audiences unless you have SOUL!
Whitney Houston is Queen of Heart
I have nothing live at the billboard awards........get into that!!
Whitney was 30 years old in this performance, you will see Angelina Jordan doing the same song at the age of 13 and 16 in the studio in the music video or in a live performance in Norway where she comes from. He is going to be the next thing in world music in my personal opinion...(🦶🦶👑)
"The bodyguard" soundtrack is one of my all time favorite. Her voice was out of this world. RIP, beautiful lady. Thank you for your contribution to music
Live ALL THE MAN I NEED, WELCOME HOME HEROES
One of the best ever! Miss her so much.
React to her signing the National Anthem at the Superbowl 1991!
She have a so beautiful voice she so beautiful women i'm sad she not here 😢 i love so much listen all songs by Whitney Houston rip for she 🙏❤️
She will bee a legend.
You are not ready for Whitney Houston live.
Whitney Houston- Loverman/My Man/All The Man I Need live at The Billboard Awards.
Kevin Costner was asked by her family to speak at her funeral. She and Keven had such a tight bond as friends. His words about Whitney were just amazing. No offense to your friend Paul, but Whitney is full of soul! Every time I hear her saying I get goosebumps. She is so talented!!!
All the man I need by Whitney is amazing.
React to Whitney Houston live sings A song for you. That will remove the doubt as to if she has soul.
Man, you should react to her live performance on 1993 (billboards), Best female voice ever!! I love her tone!
We need a moment after listening to Whitney. My God. That woman was so talented. If you reacted to her live version of this song you would understand.
Back then Whiney style of singing was more pop-ish with a soulful undertone. Her vocal range was awesome. She was considered a poop star in the beginning but became an R&B singer later on.
I strongly recommend watching ‘Why does it hurt so bad’ live.
And you definitely should make a reaction video for her "All the man that i need" live performance from HBO's welcome home heros 1991. Arguably her best live performance, you'll get chills! Regards
Oh my goodness, this song! This movie! Imagine yourself, surrounded in the movie theater, like 10 other people your age, just straight up BAWLING during this movie. This soundtrack was everything haha - such a fantastic song and reaction. Doesn't have soul.... pfft, crazy to think people believe that - but I also understand how some just innately do not like an artist. Still though...it's Whitney!!!! - also - if you want live - Star-Spangled Banner lol. Still (in my opinion) the best version ever done during a SuperBowl.
Her live performance is 100 times better! Try reacting to her lives!
You should checkout her live video version at the 1983 Billboard Awards. Incredible! She is a vocal genius and is the best live. Checkout her amazing HBO Welcome Home concert.
Goosebumps still after all these years.
Please react to Whitney Houston “I Will Always Love You” Grammy Performance (1994).
My mom always said that when I was about a year old or so, I fell in love with Whitney's voice. She said every time "I Will Always Love You" comes on I would come running from the other room and stare at the TV ( VH1 I'm sure lol)
Whitney’s live of “I Have Nothing” is what you are looking for. @anton reacts
Whitney surpasses "soul"...She was just a God Given gift...
The song is from the movie " The Bodyguard" with Kevin Costner 😊
Praying for your healing and whole-ness. 🙏🏽❤️
She was fantastic.
If you would like to hear/watch Whitney at her best, watch her live performance singing "Didn't we almost have it all".
My favorite song of hers!!!❤❤❤
Nippy was a woman who sung from her HEART! ❤ #mommacissy
Her nickname is the “Prom Queen of Soul” for a reason.
Was there anyone during this time who grew up at an age above your teens that wasn't absolutely in love with her during this movie. There's something about a voice like this that will put you in s trance. If you knew her work and you have any idea about music then you miss her and understand why they call her The Voice.
My alltime favorit Whitney song is "The Shoop Shoop Song" from "Waiting To Exhale"
This is from the movie Bodyguard
PLEASE react to this song live in the red dress. You’ll see why she’s the best ever.
Lol Whitney was the epitome of soul
One of my favorite songs because of the beautiful lyrics, her singing and emoting the lyrics gives Chills! Great Reaction from You.
You should react to her "You're All That I Need" performance for HBO's Welcome Home Heros concert
great analysis and reaction Anton
Just search for her gospel renditions. Lol. She came up in the church. She sang This Day really beautifully. But almost anything of hers live is passionate and she finds the essence of the song to emote.
All the man I need from HBO live show, for Whitney Houston..
This is 90's not 80's 😜 You should really react to her live performances. She has two great ones of this song.
@j w He doesn't trust that the live performances will be as good as the recording.
@j w He has to some artists
Do Whitney at the billboard awards or at vh1 divas live. You have no idea how amazing she is.
I love Whitney Houston ❤❤❤❤❤❤🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
GOOSEBUMPS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Whitney Houston IS a Goddess
Her best song ever!
Check out the song Count On (think that's the name) a duet with Whitney Houston and CeCe Winans. The Houston's and the Winans were great friends just like they were friends (and still are) with Anita Baker. Feel free to check out the Winans too.
Whitney's voice was so unique, beautiful, I can't find anything wrong about her at all - so incredible 💕💕
I love this women
whitney is THE QUEEN
Perfection 🥰
I do love this studio version, but there’s something really special about her live performances of this song (and others!). She’s such a good interpreter of the music and always adds some razzle dazzle and spice that just takes the songs to another level.
