    Coach Rhule will be remembered for bringing back the history of Husker Football if nothing else. Rhule has done an amazing job at reuniting the past with the present, something that's been sorely needed for a LONG time. Welcome back Coach Solich!

    It's good to see Coach Frank Solich back in Lincoln. I know his firing was a tough and controversial and that probably was upsetting to him and his family for a long time. Time heals many things and I'm glad that this is one of them, so nice to be unified in our goal to get Husker football back to greatness.

    I loved his teams. So physical. I'd put his '99 team right up there with our best teams of all time. Defense was best in the nation and the offense was clicking at the end of the season. Should have played FSU for the title that year.

    I had to chuckle when Frank talked about being a fan at about the 8:45 mark ;
    "I got all the answers now...I know exactly when they should go for it on 4th down..."
    === One thing though; from a tech standpoint, can they PLEASE get a mic or a hand-held to pass back and forth from the reporters so we can hear the questions being asked?
    Come on staff @ On3 -- time to be the outlet that helps the story move along instead of guessing half the interview sessions.

    I really hope I see him for a game on the sidelines this year. I could only imagine the emotions in him. Since he’s struggling in retirement what if he became an analyst for the staff at Nebraska? Low stress job and be around football operations. Get him back in the building wouldn’t hurt.

    Frank Solich was left holding the bag after Coach Osborn played the first string continuously in order to win a National Championship his last season, so the rest of the team really had no game time under their belts. Then Coach Solich had to take the fall for the team's poor showing the next 2 years, and there really was nothing he could do about their poor performance. He is a class act, and I always felt sorry for the way Nebraska treated him. His replacements were terrible, and totally ineffective. Calahan was a disaster, and should have been shown the door after his first season!!
