Just got the i20 sportz (updated with automatic climate control + cruise control) as my first car! Could'nt be happier it has all that I need and a very premium feel to it.
All YT reviewers talk only about the turbo engine's performance blah blah blah.... But no one really emphasizes the longevity of NA engines and low maintenance over turbo engines
Reason for bit slow lower rpm pick up and tall gear is that previous gen i20 owners complained about low fuel economy! So hyundai did this to extract more mileage
@@STgauss3268 Jazz is also not a good option because of its average driving and non VTEC nature. Polo's 1 litre naturally aspirated is not city friendly and its underpowered and baleno and glanza are the good option because of its drivable and efficient engine.

Man you seriously need to research more and polo is not that bad and the reason why they don't launch new polo is because of high price and inefficient mileage and indians want only features and mileage. We were thinking of Tiago but after test drive stepped up for i20 magna ..( best NHV levels at this price) Ata 8 lakh it offers everything needed. (I don't understand point of touchscreen if you have steering mounted controls....it's just a distraction) The biggest surprise is fuel economy. You can extract 20+kmpl figures easily if you keep low revs high gears on roads in Maharashtra mansoon.. (2200kms+ driven)

Some will feel engine is lacking punch until they see the speedo. Because of the smoothness. And I feel like all Maruti Tata cars have sand in their steering rack😂

I feel the interiors dont feel premium at all... they have gone for the all black finish with cheap plastics and havent excecuted it well... the car is really overpriced..
I'm using the diesel Option for the I20 and I'm quite satisfied. In fact I even waited for the I20 instead of choosing the Altroz, over an upgrade to the Polo.

The reason they're not pushing the Manual that much is because it is low maintenance. Now all car companies want you to bring in the car every 6 months or the car will not function hehe. They make more money on the DCT post sales on maintenance, given how unreliable cheap DCT's are.

Hyundai i20 had been a good looker but now the design seems subjective somehow.
Diesel is the forte of i20 and thank God it's still in the third gen.
I don't think they'll ever discontinue the diesel, but they might discontinue the turbo petrol option.
Earlier it looked dashing and now due to that “downed” hood, it looks ugly. Really very ugly.

The Foglamps Should have been Led's , Halogens doesn't match with the design.
Halogen is good for the fog…..and also the halogen in Hyundai cars are good enough to let u see the road(highway) in the night
