You do realize this is Eric Cartman your talking about, that fat fuck can’t understand the idea of settle or compromise, this man literally had a very successful Christian rock band all because he made a bet with Kyle that he will get five dollars if gets a platinum album for making Christian rock, he does so by taking the lyrics from popular love songs and adds Jesus to the end of every verse, and this works (unfortunately) and he makes literally millions off of his songs, when it’s revealed to him that Christian rock has mur album’s not platinum and due to that he will never get Kyles money he snaps like he just lost a life changing opportunity and yells fuck Jesus in front of entire crowd of his Christian fans, there is also the time where he made a bet Kyle that if he can prove there was a leprechaun Kyle will suck his balls for thirty seconds and if he doesn’t he has to pay Kyle 10 dollars, there was a signed contract and everything, Cartman ends up being right, unfortunately, and try’s to get Kyle to suck his balls but of course Kyle refuses to, so he brings this whole bet to court to force Kyle and WINS, when Kyle actually gives in and try’s to get it over this fuck try’s to make this a spectacle for everyone in school, putting on a genie costume, decorations and everything until the US government grabs Stan and Kyle for something important, so Cartman sneaks into the pentagon to get his balls sucked by Kyle, Kyle is then put in a room with with cartman to do it and sets up a camera, and puts on a crown and cape for it when he’s interrupted, Kyle goes into shock or something and passes out, Kyle wakes up in the hospital with Eric coming with a ice cream sundae and starts to prepare AGAIN, but this time with a throne, a Pope costume, and video camera pointing straight at his balls, this kid refuses to let something go and goes above and beyond to mess with people, so when you hear that let me ask you, does someone like that seem like they even want to be reasoned with and can even think of better ways?

In TV history, Cartman's reaction to sudden wealth is second only to Fry from Futurama reacting to his bank account balance after a thousand years of compound interest :D It had gone from less than a dollar to something like four billion dollars. Like, "I gotta say, I usually thing guys in glasses are so ugly, but it looks great on you!", or "I don't usually like latinos, but you're awesome! Other latinos should learn from you!"... wth... It's like saying, "I hate your type of channel, your type of content, and your type of vids... but you're ok!". Thanks?
In the future if you don't want to make it backhanded delete everything before "you do a great job". There's literally no need to let someone know you dislike/hate something they're connected to if a compliment is the true intention.

The best Cartman episode that always gets me howling is from season 12, called, "Breast Cancer Show Ever", as his portrayal in that episode was dead-on exact to what it was like growing up in the west around mean-spirited kids. The "You can't come" approach is exactly what won the Cola Wars for Coke. Back in the 1980s they had started losing, badly, to Pepsi. So Coca Cola took their signature product off of store shelves and came out with a product they called New Coke which had been reformulated to be sweeter and taste more like Pepsi. Everyone hated it, and furthermore they were pissed off that they couldn't buy "old Coke" anywhere. A big black market sprung up for old cans of Coke, but the main company saw sales plummet even further than they had been. So... after several months, they brought back "old Coke," now called "Coca-Cola Classic," and sales immediately shot past Pepsi. People still hated New Coke, so that was eventually taken off of shelves. They've continued to outsell Pepsi ever since.

They originally sold the boots at competitive prices to cheap brands, even being higher quality then more expensive brands, but sales were down.
They hired a concultant who did nothing but Quadruple the price and put a lot of money in TV Ads as the best work boot better and cheaper than the top brands guaranteed!
All he did was sell it at a competitive price to the luxury boots at the ~100 dollar mark, selling for around 80 but making them better quality. Sales skyrocketed. Zero change to product.

The story is a mixed bag in that sense, especially since technically God didn't do anything, he let Satan do it, but that still would make God vicariously responsible in a way because he's supposed to be sovereign and thus this was within God's power to refuse the deal at all

You’re overlooking the most important part of the story. God is omnipresent which means he knows the past, future, and present. He knows what you’ll do before you do it. Satan literally bet god that jobe would give up his faith and god already knew the future and said “bet” and let jobe go through all this misery to prove a point to Satan that god already had foreseen and therefore knew would be the only outcome. The bet was meaningless

    • @ToHoldNothing

@@ToHoldNothing yeah if you take a step back and look at the story as it’s presented, you’re left with two options. Either 1. God didn’t know what was going to happen and left it totally up to chance on if Jobe would renounce his faith which would mean god isn’t all knowing and all seeing. Or 2. God knew what Jobe would do regardless of what happened to him and maliciously allowed a man’s entire family and live stock to be needlessly slaughtered because he knew he had nothing to lose on his end.

3:07 I’ve lived in Orlando my entire life. For the Orlando area, Disney by far has the worst lines, major attractions never seem to have small queues and even b-tier rides will have minimum 30-45+ minute waits. Universals lines are hit or miss with major attractions having some long lines but mostly manageable. Sea world is almost no lines, you just walk onto basically anything there.

Seriously, Cartman is bar none, the most capable character in South Park when it comes to making money. He is relentless and creative when he wants to make money. It's just that his downfall always come down to being disappointed that he didn't get to one-up his "friends", or some kind of selfish reason that he didn't achieve, which will lead him to stop his money-making scheme, voluntarily. Almost every time, he is basically the one who decides when it stops often for some selfish petty reason. I guess this is deliberate writing from the creators as to avoid making a character like Cartman too powerful to balance out the show.
