One person receives one bad gun (which happens more often than people think even by bigger brands) and all of a sudden said country or brand is deemed shitty. Just because the gun was made in turkey doesn’t mean they Fail at 500. I’d honestly just stick to the common rule of try before you buy, and read the specs of the gun, I mean the ENTIRE manual (it probably sounds dumb but you can learn about a gun and get an idea of how reliable it will be that way).

I'm trying to decide between a 20 Gauge Winchester SXP and a Tokarev TAR12 MP right now, I'm leaning towards the Winchester but the Tokarev is very tempting since it's only $260 and having a mag-fed shotgun would be pretty badass.
@@jeremyknight7438 I went with a Winchester SXP 20 gauge because I didn't want to deal with the mags, plus I read things about the quality of the plastic used on the TAR12 that pushed me towards the 20 gauge with a wood stock. Thanks for the reply, though.

@balderjohnson430 these take anything, there's a few that only take thin wall mags, but they are few and far between. Escort comes to mind. Rock island sells mags that work.

I’m going to get one of these to mess around with,but I have seen one video with a round detonation blowing up the mag and mag well not sure if that’s the gun or the ammo but I guess we shall see.
Some of the mags I've seen are over coated. Work the mag in and out a few times and see if that eases it up. If that doesn't take care of it, reach out to their customer service. Quality control is hit or miss on the turkish imports.
Nvm you answered my question, you mentioned it’s a Mka 1919 mag, so I’m assuming all mags for 1919s will work, I might get this, great price point, solid reviews so far.
I wanted the same and was worried about the distance of the stock, like making it feel like i gotta stretch to get my finger to the trigger And it feels just right when the stock is in your shoulder and aiming down the sights. Btw im 5'6. It feels perfect for me.
@@Mcodylop indeed. I didn't realize folks would have a problem. Remove tension on the recoil spring, line up bolt, insert charging handle, reassemble recoil assembly.

@Gruntreviews just contacted them this week. After fully taking the shotgun apart and not finding anything, I figured it was a factory defect. The shells feed from the mag at a weird angle making me force the charging handle forward to get them to sit properly.
VERY disappointed!! I got this gun in today and it didn't have an owners manual in the box. So, I came to RUclips and found this review. First of all, it should be noted that i have never owned a gun that I had to assemble out of the box. So, I needed to know how to install the charging handle. It was not installed out of the box. The one that was on this video WAS ALREADY INSTALLED!! I needed help on putting it on the bolt, but nothing here. The sights were also already on the gun in the video, NOT ON MINE!! When you see "unboxing", it should be just like it came out of the box. Very disappointed at you. I'm going to have to find someone else on here to know how to do it.
@@mikecal9985 yes, but the video didn't show them installing these things. I had a terrible time putting the charging handle on it. Thankfully, there was another guy here on RUclips that does show how to put it on. It's very tricky and you have to partially disassemble the gun to put it on. I also had a terrible time putting the sights on it since I've never done it before. After about an hour of not a few swear words, I finally figured it out. Again, the video shows the gun coming out of the box with the sights on it and they are not on the gun from the factory. This video was not accurate with how my gun came from the factory. "Unboxing" means taking it out of the box and getting the gun ready to be used. It was disappointing because the two most difficult parts of getting the gun ready to use was not in the video.
Remove the end cap to release tension. It goes in easy. That's my bad, I didn't think it was that hard. I did it initially with a pick to line the two pieces up.
Why yall hating on the man its a damn charging handle that can be installed if you actually use your fucking brain and try to figure something out by yourself. everyone should know how to disassemble their firearm if you cant figure this out you shouldnt be having a firearm.

Start to put it into the bolt. Slight pull rearward until the slot lines up on the carrier. Push it in fully.
Unscrew the cap under the barrel then you can simply slide and line up the slot charging handle pops in easy

Interesting. Makes me wonder if they ran out. They had similar issues with the bullpup version.
After 2022 they no longer come with those extras,as per Tokarev.
When I got mine, the bag with the sights in has four small pins in it, no mention of them in the manual. Any idea what they are for?

Some folks are saying it's easier to remove the tube cap. I just used a pick to line it up and slide it in.

To my knowledge no, but I have not tried it. It's not a true AR platform.

How did you get the charging handle in?
Easiest to loosen tension on the spring and slide it in.
How did you guys get your rear sight in place?
Tap it into place gently. It'll flex.
