GRANDIOSE like a reverse engineer. How lucky the train conductor permitted this film. Even when moving backwards from the cab car I steel feel I am the engineer at the throttle of the unforgettable GG1 or succesors AEM-7 or HPP8. Also the active MP-36 DIESEL. Greetings from MEXICO
While MARC and NJT do not have the Silverliner-based trainset plethora that SEPTA is known for, they still operate in push-pull on their electrified lines; in MARC's case, it is the Penn Line - which overlays the NEC. In "push" mode, such trainsets operate "bass-ackwards" - with the loco in the rear.
Used to ride this from BWI Airport to my "home" station of Edgewood. Sometimes, if I was lucky enough to get off work before 2:30 PM, I would be able to catch AMTK #148 to Aberdeen, which was a LOT faster. Very relaxing rides which beat dealing with all that traffic on 95. :)
