Oh...and please subscribe! :-)
Awesome! Thanks for the video!
This engine is now at IRM being restored to its CB&Q appearance.
Awesome 👍 wish more of those units were still running in service.
Very good DeAnn! I told you I would go back and catch this one! Enjoyed every minute of it. Stay safe! Cheers, Danny
Thank you Danny! -DeAnn
Absolutely shocked to see armor yellow UP cars rolling in the 90's
Love those BN E9 units....wish they were still around......and u DeAnn are a lovely narrator, very pretty u are :)
I like the look of the E units too...and thank you for the compliment. :-) -DeAnn
@@Railfandepot do u like model railroad by any chance. ..if so check out my channel
There’s two still sitting at LTEX in McDonald Ohio
@@winkelmannchannel971 Interesting to know. Thanks for sharing the info. -Tim
Do you have the Pentex video where a Southern Pacific train crew ran the block signal and were fired?
We have every Pentrex video (RailfanDepot.com), but I am not familiar with that one or that story. -DeAnn
Will there be more train videos?
I am very happy to say.... *YES*... we are back and going strong and will be stronger! Coffee and Trains is back every Sunday at 10:00am and we're working on some new train videos for mid-week too. Thank you for asking! -DeAnn
I live in MD so that’s cool that you’re doing a video on A local railRoad
So glad we could do this then...and it is an interesting cab ride too. :-) -DeAnn
Can you please try to do one on The Maryland Midland
Love the video
Thank you! -DeAnn
Wish you could have got some shots of inside the cab ,the controls and any other shots ...
We have some shows with those shots, but yes, not this one. Take a look at the Cuba Sub cab ride here: ruclips.net/video/LlMYV2bwl2Y/видео.html

This footage was shot 26 years ago in 1994. They're just sharing what video was shot at that time.
LOOK CAREFULLY! You can see OLD Chessie System Box Cars @ 11:27-11:37
Yep! Remember the Chessie paint scheme of the 70s and much of the 80s? Those were some colorful engines! -Tim
Don’t see why these units couldn’t be saved and retrofitted to modern standards, it would have had to have been cheaper than the new units they run today. I do miss the nostalgic streamlined E & F locomotives
The "covered wagons" are great looking locos. My personal favorite is the F3. -DeAnn
You can't save equipment with cracked frames and that is just plain worn out. None of it is FRA crash-worthy as well.

I believe the horn used is a Leslie S3L or S3K, right? If so, too bad it's fouled. :-(
I am not an expert on horns, but it really is hard to say what this horn is...it could have been replaced by MARC, or BN. It may have originally been a Leslie A-200. If you're a horn person, you may be interested in DVDs we available about horns: railfandepot.com/producer/horns-inc-and-oh-well-productions/
Its a fouled RS2M
Didn't Burlington Norther have 16-18 E units? I think some of them were scrapped. It is a shame that every one of them couldn't be saved. Once gone - they're gone!
BN had 12 E9 units, but 32 E8 units - which are very nearly identical in appearance. The only difference being the headlight glass mounting - so they had a total of 44 identical looking E8/9 units. Most ended their career on commuter lines. -Tim
@@Railfandepot Wow, didn't know they had that many Es!
