Hiking the Free Capes Walk on the Tasman peninsula

George, Vered, Izzy and I smash out the traditionally three days, two night hike in two days and one night. Thanks to Jimbo for dropping us by boat at Denman's Cove to begin the track. The parks guide at Surveyor's Hut was a bit perplexed by our arrival. We did a 'free' version of the walk opting to camp instead of stay at the huts. Unless you are doing the paid version you never walk past Surveyor's Hut. She let us fill up our drink bottles and wished us on our merry way! Although, having now viewed the hut facilities we agree that it would be worth the dosh. Cheers.
