I have been using spss for over 10 years now but I do not clean the data using syntax. This is really insightful. Thanks very much

Professor Ingen, when I create the GET FILE, using your download file, I receive this warning when it creates the editor window: Warning # 5281. Command name: GET FILE
SPSS Statistics is running in Unicode encoding mode. This file is encoded in
a locale-specific (code page) encoding. The defined width of any string
variables are automatically tripled in order to avoid possible data loss. You
can use ALTER TYPE to set the width of string variables to the width of the
longest observed value for each string variable. What does this mean, will the editor still work properly and how do I get rid of it?Edward Files

I was unable to locate your website to download the dataset. Would it be possible to obtain that file as an attachment to this video?

Hi, thanks so much for this tutorial. I've found it extremely useful ! Could you please tell me what would be an equivalent of a "get file" command which could be used on iOS Yosemite for Mac? Thanks a lot !
