Welcome to the family then haha! Believe me I didn’t even showcase everything the V-Synth is capable of - the sound design capabilities are practically endless… I’ve got some other V-Synth content: ruclips.net/video/7Tq1r3qo3fY/видео.htmlsi=0ZFfhqxfjvbYj1CC ruclips.net/video/i0IwkvY0ypU/видео.htmlsi=0ZeJLGvmpB99zSWv ruclips.net/video/2UDqTE9iOuQ/видео.htmlsi=Sp6UJJqseLuekeNZ Check ‘em out - you’ll be amazed at how versatile the V-Synth is :)
Didn't realise you had the original! Just watched your new video on the GT. Keen to see how you find them. The ability for the arp to be used on a split on the GT due to dual layer is cool, colour screen nice, I read they removed some of the dedicated controls on the right side and added 'soft' controls under the touch screen to adjust parameters there. There is an original V-Synth at a good price near me... I'm tempted.
Yeah I bought it when I found one for a rather low price near me also in mint condition, even though I’d wanted the GT I went for the original as the GT prices were already around a £1000 back then… so I ended up buying it, I still have it and love it to bits :) True, they made some changes, some I don’t see very logical but others are cool, no.1 thing I noticed that I really liked is how you can have multisamples in the GT, which will open up a whole new world of variety in sound :) My opinion is - if you have one near you at a reasonable price in good, working condition - go for it. They rarely come up cheap, nowadays even the original sells for around a £1000 and I don’t think the prices will dip much… and they’re a fun house, you can never get bored of this thing, the capabilities are practically endless!
@@ptr_new picked up the original today for $1000 AUD, have been playing on it for the last few hours. No issues. Was dusty but otherwise in great shape. No issues I can see. Lots of fun :)
@@darwiniandude I reckon they’re pretty well built, good call that sounds like a great deal you got there! You’re gonna have hours and hours of fun with it I can guarantee that, I’ve been through a lot of synths in my time and the V-Synth is in my top 3 - they’re incredible - the possibilities are endless! :)
Bunch of cool sounds! 🙃 My personal favourites: 3 - In space! 🛸 14 and 17 - literally gave me shivers 😳 16 - flowing nicely 20 - something out of this world.. 22 - tension is building up, so good 25 - reminds me of sound out of old music box 33 - cool sound 😎 43 and 44 - chilling ❤️ 48 - EROTIC
So happy to see someone is still creating (great) patches for the V-Synths! I am lost in other synths currently, but, well, it doesn´t mean the V-Synths are osbolete, they are truly unique
Thank you for the comment :) Yes, most of these patches use the analog oscillators (saw, square, sine) and the ones that don’t they use built in waveforms, so as long as the entire project is loaded (not just individual patches) it should be fine
If you are trying to import sounds from an XT to a GT, create a folder on usb drive labeled XT. Plug it into the GT. Press Utility, then Project, then Convert Project. All sonds from an XT can be converted to use for the GT. Google Instructions.
Well done custom sounds. I don't have V-Synth, so at 8:33 your sound remind me Frost* Terrestrial begining sample, i know that Jem had a V-synth XT at this time, do you think it's made with it please? ruclips.net/video/GYDcmu89XTA/видео.html
Thank you, I’m not sure but that intro from that song sounds almost like a vocoder? Maybe I’m wrong although it’d certainly be possible to make something similar on a v-synth, it’s practically capable of creating almost any sound imaginable
