Apart from the musicality, having recorded 25 songs and having 17 of them on the album which are all strong tracks, this album has a great mixture of the vibe and the sound. The mix is great, almost perfect but still has the vibe of the studio, it feels like a jam most of the times and without being so sterile.

John played the solo on Mellowship Slinky with a fretless '57 Sunburst Strat. He had the frets removed because someone had the original frets replaced with jumbo frets, which he didn't like (but were popular in the 80s), so he had them ripped out instead of refretting it. ruclips.net/video/2vCCGhCBw7I/видео.html
