Thanks Ian. Back in the day, many coaches (as they were taught I guess) were much more like your average drill sergeants. I couldn't stand this methodology even though it would work on the few that were super dedicated like I was. This would often give you the impression that everything should be a winner and if I wanted to make the top 200, I had to hit non returnable shots of all kinds from all over the court. Unfortunately not having the stats to back up like today didn't help the cause either. Anytime we would miss into the net etc., we would hear it even though watching the top level players up close their misses were more than apparent. This conflict would always caused me to truly dislike the methodology of these coaches. Sorry went sideways a little, but just a word or two why many in my opinion from my days at least, suffered from this psychological shortcoming. Cheers! M

I haven't seen anyone who was concerned about their errors. Everyone seemed to be fine with 9 errors to 1 winner ratio. Lol
