1:40 is a tutorial on how not to weld .Steel core of electrode is protected by outside cape to eliminate oxydation from weld .By adding wire you removed that function, your weld is crap it has giant hole in middle . Just use thicker electrode on lower amperage ,weld fast and reduce the angle so you will get less penetration when welding thin steel. BUild up weld on sides by pecking and then use continuous line for extra thin steel. I like the last tool holder !
