Would love to see a githzerai race considering there is a githzerai brain in the game. And the fact that Orpheus’ honor guard look like githzerai monks.
There's a githzerai race mod available on the nexus, I'm just hoping it gets ported to mod.io and the mod manager soon since I'm trying to keep my videos focused on mods available on there
I haven’t found any that do this yet. Some of the classes like Mystic I know it gives you the Wizard and Monk options, but anything new would require a relevant voice line from existing NPC’s which seems unlikely to me. Some of them are impossible to adjust for too, like the mod that lets you become an illithid right from the start. You still get the narration about not becoming illithid and Gale says we’re gonna turn into mind flayers and you’re sitting there like “yeah okay and it’s not so bad for me?”
@@BeefSister69 that’s kinda funny. If you’re already a mindflayer , why are you looking for cure? Why are you travelling with all these strangers? The whole reason for this adventure is to stop becoming a mindflayer. If you’re already one , why bother doing anything ? Lol
Oh I'm terrible at pronunciations for the Forgotten Realms 😅 I'm still relatively new to a lot of the expanded lore from there so I'm still learning. It's supposed to sound like "jen-ah-see" right? lol
It could be a load order issue, but I'm not sure. Are you installing mods through the in-game manager or using the Baldurs Gate Mod manager and downloading from the Nexus? If you're doing both, they can sometimes interfere with each other in my experience. I've also had some mods within the manager interfere with each other's files on occasion and disabling the right one can fix the problem.
I haven't seen anything for lizardfolk yet. There is one I found today that lets you play as a kobold, called Thunder's Extra Races. It repurposes a bunch of in-game NPC assets letting you play as a bugbear, kobold, myconid, dryad, even a djinni! For some reason I can't find a link on mod.io but if you search for it on the manager I was able to find it.
The mod author says that the mod is currently pending approval from Larian, so it’s only a matter of time! Approval is probably the main delay for most mods making it to console at this point
Good lord the slapping and smacking noises coming out of your mouth constantly had me muting and using CC. That mic has you sounding like youre trying to lick peanut butter off the roof of your mouth while you talk
@@BeefSister69 nice if that’s the case I’m so doing a werewolf playthrough next and that goes so well with my friend who would do a vampire playthrough
Yes the vampire origin is made by the same creator as the werewolf and they said all their mods are in review. I’m not sure with the cambion off the top of my head but my guess is yes
Feels funny that you can play as a goblin. the grove is being attacked by goblins . Why would anyone let you just walk into their camp if you are a goblin? The tieflings would probably assume you’re with the bad guys and attack you on sight . Btw I’m curious. how does the world react to the other evil playable races? And Do the modded races/backgrounds/classes get any special dialogue or does the characters basically ignore any modded character stuff?
I'm happy for the werewolf origin, now I can make Helia, the halfling werewolf bard, the scratched origin :)
Ooh that sounds fun! Bards are my favorite class in BG3 and DnD 5e. They're just way too much fun
@@BeefSister69 halfling bard was my first playthrough in the finished game. You will never see a 1 with that halfling lucky feat

I wish the firbolg had big horizontal ears.
Thank you for this Vid, love you bro🙌🏻
No no no, I love YOU! Glad you liked the video
Great video, You missed my Goblins though.
Ach! I realized that after I posted, I'll have to give them a shoutout in a later video to make up for it!
When you pick a modded race or class, do you get special dialogue/ reactions?

I don't like the Aasimar and Tieflings from 4th edition and 5th edition. 2nd edition and 3rd edition made them right.
I haven’t been able to get any class icons or race icons to appear since patch 7 it there a specific load order that is missing ?

Is there a lizardfolk and kobold race? Fully color custumisable like the imp

Kobold is a part of the D&D Expanded mod.
When will we get the aasimar race for ps mod manager

Are these race mods gonna be coming to console?? I’d love to make a character with a werewolf origin
