- Classic stuff. Jilted John's alias on Zoo in about 1993 (AKA Graham Fellows). And look at the fresh-faced Woss before he became a Fawlty Towers botherer. Starts off with an aborted attempt at "Paul!" Never mind, John.

British ingenuity at its finest, thank you John for making life more interesting, pidg pigeon pidg pidg pigeon.
When this video ended I cried all the way to the chip shop.
2 margarines on the go ? It's a nightmare scenario.
my favourite
John Shuttleworth is a legend! You can't be depressed after hearing one of his songs.
"have a little dagger and come at the audience" he's a genius!
Well done Joan Chitty for becoming a qualified physiotherapist
John was being a bit general - not only did Joan pass the examinations, she became a CHARTERED Physio - she helped my brother get over a bout of wankers cramp, he is grateful to this day; it also gave him the confidence to apply for an audition for an Utterly Butterly commercial. So hats off to Joan
Congratulations Joan!
Oof! That got a bit ‘blue’.
The only one who really got a 'sound' out of a Yamaha PSS-780.
20 jokes per second all over their heads
Just been to Shrewsbury to see him tonight. Comic genius, so clever, like you say most over everyone’s head. Funniest night I’ve had for ages . Quality.
@@AVFC1982 He’s fantastic isn’t he! I think it’s almost like an Alan Bennet soliloquy. It’s a little more gentle/subtle comedy than say Steve Coogan was with AP or Paul and Pauline Calf, but some of the stuff you hear on the radio shows are sublime!
John Shuttleworth is a legend! Every time I see a Hansel and Gretel chalet I think of him!
"He did come last, but it was definitely him" LOL
I remember when John was on Radio 4 and phoned up the Norwegian Embassay in London to ask if they'd like to have 'Pigeons in Flight' as their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest that year.
Very very clever songwriter is Graham Fellowes and he writes some mean melodies too. Absolutely love the guy.
ah man no matter how many times i hear him i cry with laughter- hes a genius
He would make an excellent school teacher.
Oh man this brings back memories - Saw Mr Shuttleworth in Brighton back in the day - genius.
It did indeed go round and round in my head for years :)
Pure talent, what an original funny man , Sheffield Rules.
John Shuttleworth should be given an honorary doctorate from Sheffield Hallam and a philosophy lectureship for one year.
I won't be able to sleep tonight. That was too hooky, too catchy. :)
"have a little dagger and come at the audience" he's a genius
Absolutely brilliant .. The artistic lyrics made me cry
A comedy genius!!!!!!!! All hail the Shuttleworth!!!!!!!!
"Pigeons in flight, I wanna see you tonight!" Catchy & brilliant.
Ken Worthington must be pleased. This is a Legend. When was the last time he appeared live. i'm from 2023 btw. Thanks!
great stuff, often see him on his bike around town !
I've seen him live a few times, he's brilliant
one person removed the cardboard from the bounty bar
It makes a sturdy shopping list...
Saw him live once. Had a mid show banana
Him not me
Still makes me cry
John was very funny back then and got much funnier as the years went by ....Ooof !
Johns a absolute legend in Huddersfield.
First class confectionery!
loved it when he came to Portsmouth!
I am so happy I saw this first hand I loved it the minute I heard pigeons in flight. Beautiful song, why wasn’t it a hit????
I’m still singing it now in 2023 😂
Was searching for 7 Songs By Sunset... this is another classic!
Great too find the captain is a fan of john shuttleworth cos I’m a great fan of you both...wife and I still attend the damned concerts...😎🌈
A true showman
It's a subtle northern humour and i think the audience are from London. 😆
The lyrics require no further honing.
Oooph Ken! You can't do that, theres a housepipe ban!
Priceless!
XD John Shuttleworth makes my sides split
He wrote and sang... Gordon Is A Moron. A big hit.
At last! A video on youtube that some yank hasn't come along and posted trash-talk underneath!
As Yorkshire as David Hockney and Alan Bennett - start a hall of fame now!
Saw him last night at the Bloomsbury theatre where he finished with...
Pigeons in flight. 🙂
Absolutely Brilliant.
Cliff on a bike!! I`m having a major flashback here, Hoh!
When will this be released on a single?
Would have been a great double act, John shuttleworth and Frank sidebottom. Genius's both!
David O Doherty took the flame as the most tedious musical comedy act in the UK from this guy, and I am grateful, somehow
Refers to the time Ross & Brand made inappropriate on-air phone calls to Andrew Sachs (Manuel).
Love to see you play with Gary Barlow John, think that would be great!!
Of course. Thankyou Pop.
I have a John Shuttleworth tea towel
Ded jeal!
a legend!!!
Absolute f@cking legend.
Makes it look easy, but makes something quite good look bad, and still be accepted. I thought this was a bit later than 1993.
Great comic timing
well I was looking up dead websites, and bubble gun came up and they had an article on this guy making a eurovision song. pretty funny guy
I met John good man
Who the hell is the one dislike?? Get 'em lads!
Gordon.
Damned good Idea MrHanbo I like your thinking
Was that number 78 on the Yamaha, John?
Too subtle for some...

@ZIPPYGEORGEBUNGLE Not a Bounty with no card?
John Shuttleworth’s jacket is LESS ridiculous than Jonathan’s.

Look at the early '90's TV hipsters....
ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha....TOP STUFF
Preferred his Jilted John persona "Gordon is a moron!!"
class
We really could of done with John having a go at a song for europe, I mean Ireland had that dustin the turkey and those eastern european countries put out loads of weird stuff that get through. I'd of voted anyway :D
Genius indeed
Or what is this man’s real, name?
This is great to see but you could have edited Ross of the footage
Not a fan of Paul Ross’ more successful brother?
Hansel and Gretel chalet? A man can stand up in one fully erect. Stop that, Ken.
@jeffiegirl 1.26 - 'Mr & Mrs Whitaker, they love that one and she's a lab technician, it's just a question of taste, i'n't it?!'
Hah! Classic!
You can tell Graham Fellows is an aficionado of Frank Sidebottom.
?
Graham Fellows is John Shuttleworth. Graham was one of Frank's roadies, so knew him quite well.
thank you that's interesting!
Ah, Frank Side bottom. Another genius.
Genius
I suppose Osvod favours a snowboard nowadays. Very vexing to the skiing community.
I know you're here for this wonderful song s it starts at 3:41
@neilrwilkinson 1993 ish.
Tommy Cockles before he was Tommy Cockles! Brilliantly original comic.
