This album completely separated Mittsies and Helltaker for me. It proves just how well Mittsies can do without being attached to something. Mittsies was probably thinking of a story while producing all these songs, because of the names and background images, and that was a nice play by Mittsies, you can hear the emotions in each of the songs. You can feel that something is up, there is meaning on that soundtrack, not just some noise, like most of eletronic music I've heard. This album is a masterpiece, and I expect more from Mittsies. Since this album was themed around space and stuff, how about the next be themed on a sort of medieval/magic adventure?

Enjoyable read. I could really imagine the neurons activating in your mind as you wrote this. I do hope my music inspires more awesome games in the future.
Ladies and gentlemen, THIS is why you always ensure your safety harness in ENTIRELY SECURE before beginning a spacewalk. Also, I've been bumping this for like a month and have shared it with several people. Utterly in love with the sound. Amazing job on this, Mittsies.
@@Mittsies thank you very much! And yes, your music helped me a lot over the last two years. So please keep doing what you do and make people happy! :)
I'll admit I was somewhat skeptical that this album would be successful because it's just a standalone project, not a game soundtrack. But yeah! Exciting stuff~
Sir, ten years ago I could never imagine that this day would come I'm really happy for you that you can persist in creating for such a long time You have maintained your passion, creativity and public appreciation in many areas, which is really valuable I will definitely spend a lot of time listening to this album in the future You have always been the role model that inspires me to creative I really hope that one day I can also reach the height you are today I sincerely wish you continued success in the future, no matter when and where you are I use Deepl translation, I hope you understand me correctly
I feel like my younger self listening to cool electric music, thinking about epic space games. This gave me nostalgia for no reason. Perfect soundtrack, the whole album is godly.
Been listening to you since 2013, glad you've picked up more than a niche little following after Helltaker. You used to kick my ass in Mordhau a few years back.
I mean this in the post positive way I can : your music hits the ADHD JUST right. There's good layers in there. the beat keeps me working, the top melody keeps my brain tickled. The change in the tone inspires a narrative, without distracting from my current project. love your work, thank you for sharing this with us
Deep Rock Galactic and Hotline Miami banged their beats together and out came a MITTSIES album? This is dope. 19:25 Holy COW the YTTD vibes here are insane
@@L337playing Yes, its a game named Your Turn to Die. Idk if it's canon it be an horror game, but have an similar vibe with another franchise named Danganronpa. Include a bit of mystery, deaths, choices, different routes and personal experience; there's no gore or smth like tho. You can search for more, if interests you.
Thanks! Many tracks were created for this album, but I narrowed it down to the absolute best ones, and this is the result. The 8 that made the cut are all very special to me.
I'm so glad this popped into my recommended. I bought the album because the tracks were seared into my head and I couldn't get them out, and they make perfect music for writing and relaxation. Absolutely great work Mittsies.
This is, in fact, very impressive work. Vanripper sure can draw attention in general feed, and once one clicks, there is no way back, music just gravitate all attention to itself. Glorious experience. Thank you.
Mittsies, I love your stuff. I can just put your repertoire on repeat and do whatever - games, programming, work, dishes, anything. There's no song where I need to be like "meh... skip.." because while some songs are great, all of them are good. This new album is a great sci-fi addition! Digging it! 🐿🤘🏼
It was important to me that every album on this track felt like "the one". When I listen to other albums, I often find myself enjoying some but not all of the tracks... so when I made Voidreckon, I wanted a short track list where every single song was integral to the overall vibe of the album. I've said it before, if you asked me to pick a favorite, I don't think I could. This album is really meant to be listened to as one whole package.
@Mittsies Hmm.. yeah, it is more like one song with different movements (even if they can be very distinct) than an album. So I'd say mission accomplished there.

Each song is great in its own way. People keep saying the album is sci-fi... Which... okay? But I wouldn't say so. Stranded seems to be greatly inspired by the sea, for instance - at least that's the vibe i'm receiving. The first time i listened to the album, I just sat there in the darkness with my eyes closed and just this beautiful music... Keep up the good work.
Braincell and especially Phantom gave me Hotline Miami vibes. There's something special about those squeaky/springy instruments that fade in and out. Amazing album, and congratulations on 100k!
I can't stop linking this to people; It really is an amazing treat. I especially like Floodlights, Voidreckon, and Horizon myself. Certainly a lot of people have appreciated a break from Christmas music, with the timing here and all.
This album is one of the extremely rare things in my life that generates a very unique cozy vibe. Especially with the song Phantom. Playing this in my room makes my room feel like a well-protected spaceship where I can just kick back and relax while outside is pandemonium. Kinda like the ship in FTL or Starbound, or cyclops in Subnautica. Especially fitting after arriving home from work.
for some reason, every time i tune in and hear floodlights as the opening track for the album, how it starts instantly mesmerizes me into that space feel. and the tracks that follow do nothing else but cement that feeling your music is awesome, mittsies!
This was an awesome premier. I can't possibly pick a fav but I can say that "stranded" gave me great nostalgia, like playing flash games in the past and such. Thanks for another great release Mittsies, hoping for many more bangers to come Also merry early christmas and early happy new year everyone!!
I'm insanely depressed. It is so hard for me to hold in my emotions, and I think constantly about the problems I have, never giving me a moment of peace. This music you've made, however, is incredibly soothing. Your most certainly not going to see this, but I believe this music is hopefully going to help me get better. I know that sounds weird, but honestly this music accomplishes so much in my head. Thank you mittsies
Going through some processing, are we? It happens to the best of us, from the greatest minds in history to the least. Nothing wrong with that. If we didn't figure out how to control our own environment, we wouldn't have evolved very far, would we? If you need to talk, about anything, you can always DM me. I've been to war, and studied the causes of it, so there is no human nature beyond my understanding to help. What matters is your understanding.
something about that suit makes me really want to try to 3d model it, it just looks so simple but still complex to model it, it makes me want to 3d model that suit, on top of that, this album is amazing
Thank you so much for keeping up the hard work. Every song got that special "Mittsies" awesome vibe but it feels fresh and unique. Braincell really boops with the bass, I love it.
I love that video games are an avenue through which talented artists can be found. Mittsies with Helltaker, Meganeko with Ultrakill, DM Dokuro with Calamity Mod. That's not to say these artists are nameless before the game, but that both the artist and the game grow through the experience they put out for people. I may have found Mittsies through a video game about dating demon women, but the quality of the music kept me around
In some ways, I suppose this album was to showcase that I can make something that really holds up on its own without needing to be attached to anything in particular.
I've been listening to this album every day for like a month because, on top of just being S tier music, it so badly makes me want to go play or watch or go experience something that matches it. Obviously something space themed but something action or adventure focused because the music gives that feeling of wanting to go see majestic sights but also go knock some teeth out. I also think that the first and last tracks are positively sublime, Floodlights gives this feeling of introduction and setting out on something (plus I just like listening to it the most) and Ledgehugger gives this feeling of some final conflict, finally getting back home, and being able to finally lay down in bed for the first time in ages and look back out at the stars ready for that next adventure. I don't have such concrete feelings on the other tracks but they all feel very distinct and yet flow together effortlessly. I also can't get the image of being in orbit around some planet with a ring system and looking back up at those rings while listening to this album out of my head. The entire album makes my mind race with individual little thoughts, stories, and scenes in a way very few other pieces or collections of music do, it feels like a very special project made a talented musician and I'm glad it exists.
I don't know what am I writing exactly, but let's name it my "love letter to your music" I am a person, that was born in the years of hyping The Prodigy music in 2000x. All my childhood I grow in the house where every single part of my small family was listening to his own genre of music: elder brother listened to black metal and synth/EDM music. My mama listened to intense Indian and French mixes of different songs. All that sound had very vivid pulsing rhythms and no wonder that at my teens I found myself in breakdance until some kind of physical trauma. Then I changed my profile and started to exercise in drawing/arts. It was my passion, cuz I could literally visualise the music and beats that I listened before. Breakdancing people were so dynamic and cool to draw from my memories(yeah, dats right, I draw without any "references", just canvas and brushes despite the fact that I did this in CG. So my fantasy was working fully getting the main inspiration from music in my headphones. And god bless you. It was the only time I liked hyped thing SO much: Helltaker inspired me to draw more but what is more important is that I discovered this channel with the full discography that will be attached to different periods of my life: Naga, Tandem album, TOWER(!!!!), Morningstar, REGISTRY(!!!!!), Sanctuary and of course Vitality. I don't see this song as meme or Helltaker related(although it is the way I found it). This is a separate work of art that gives me a slightly perceptible feeling of loneliness in the good sense of the word and also makes my heart shiver and almost making me cry every time I hear it. I can describe every song detailed(Does it gonna be interesting?) All this prelude was said just to say: Ledgehugger is SO emotionally-related to me. And also your songs are a huge part of my real human life. And right now after dance and art I do study in sound design college. Started to listen to popular music, but hear only individual sounds under the filters. This is not the case with your music. You put a lot of love into it. Sincery your Alex 27.09.2023 28:41
Damn this album is a awesome culmination of different experiences of edm. Herizon goes hard in the paint but I really love the whole album. Great Job Mittsies. Hope you have a merry christmas!
The more I listen to Mittsies, the more I lose myself in the harmony and melodies that Mittsies has produced which leaves me astounded and yearning for another listen.
This is so good. From front to back the theming is cohesive and amazing. Each song oozes your style, yet each feels so much more continuous progressing as they go on. So much went into this and I absolutely love it.
ngl it feels like a story just by reading the names on the songs and the artworks help too i would just have qualified the last one ( ledgehugger ) an illusion before dead ( phantome and stranded ) oh good memories :D
There was definitely a story in my head as I made these tracks, and I think the video helps present those ideas while still leaving it up to viewer intepretation.
I've been playing a ton of No Man's sky lately, and then SUDDENLY you drop SPACE BANGERS?! I love this happy coincidence, and this will now be the soundtrack for the rest of my playthrough lmao Keep it up with the absolute bangers, Mittsies!
This was my introduction to Mittsies. What a great album, absolutely wonderful to listen to as a collection. The video artwork and subtle changes throughout were just icing on the cake.
If you're into experimental electronic music, then Mittsies' "Voidreckon" is a must-listen! 🎧🔥 This full album is an incredible journey through intricate beats, dreamy melodies, and abstract soundscapes that will take your mind on a wild ride. 🚀 Highly recommended for anyone looking to expand their musical horizons! 🌟
Still remember the first time I heard a Mittsies song in a deviantart game and was blown away, only to find there were many many more where that came from! My favorite music period.
I just wanna thank you for providing the world with the best missing pieces of electronic music. Also, the last track `Ledgehugger` and `Voidreckon` are the tracks with the chillist vibes that I heard all month! Like they feel so nostalgic, futuristic, yet so chill at the same time; it confuses my neurons I feel like they are from another world. I cannot even describe it in English anymore. It is just.. awesome.
Voidreckon by Mittsies is now one of my favorites go-to albums when I'm programming. That squirrel, Mittsies, has some strange powers to make my day. Big preesh!
Is it just me thinking that.... this astronaut is having a brush not just because how excited she was swimming in a aether of space, but instead she was actually out of bound and accidently got in to orbing pattern where she constantly circle around the planet and slowly suffocating to death with lack of oxygen, then become some sort of cosmic ghost orbiting planet like satellite? Music hits differently, when think about that theory....
I must've listened to this entire album at least 20 times. It's really great to have on while writing and playing games, or even just while commuting or traveling. Each of the numbers have their own vibe, but I feel Horizon has become my go-to out of all of them.
I'd say their Return to the Sauce album (Continuous Mix) and this album have the same retro sci-fi vibes :p Bunnyside of Future Downtown (FurryJoA 2023 Theme Music Album) also has similar vibes :D
Listening to this album gets better every time, somehow. First time I liked it but now I love it which is honestly pretty rare and very impressive, good work Mittsies!
I am a simple man, I see Mittsies Anime girls and the promise of good music in the thumbnail, I click. Now this space -inspired stuff, that hits the spot.
It sounds at least amazing and even though it's a bit of chiptune it also gives a little vaporwave vibe and i love that. Also as it is your first album you can easily say that you just released your best album so far xD Ledgehugger is best in my opinion and probably I'm going to listen to it looped until i start hating it. ...aight...boring part here... what software (or type of software) you use to make these beats? and where you learned to do that? (if tutorial then could i kindly ask which ones? [yes I'm too lazy to check out myself]) boring part over Keep up great work. Have a good day. Peace.
I use FL Studio. I mostly learned through experimentation, not tutorials, as I am too impatient to sit there and learn from a video or follow instructions.
Hey Mitts', you probably will never see this message but anyway, I wanted to say that i'm grateful for your musics, they followed me since June 2023 when I was - for some reason - thinking about helltaker again . I was like damn, never realised how good the music was, then I went to your channel and WOW, I immediately fell in love with your musics ❤. I haven't stopped listening to it since lol, Whenever I was studing, playing chess, running etc ... I was often listening your songs. So ... I just wanted to say that I'm grateful for your work and that I'll probably keep listening to them forever . Fly high my little squirrel ❤❤🐿🐿💫💫. Edit : It's been a year and yeah, I'm still listening to your songs lol. I can't wait for your next album !
This album goes so hard while playing Satisfactory. It is not even funny how productive this makes me during a session. Played like 6 hours on loop without even noticing. Yes, this album is that good. Awesome job Mittsies!
This is all I listen to while playing Astroneer or Space Engineers now, it's a vibe and a half. (Except Glacio, all my homies listen to Coldfront on that planet, if you know you know)

Main idea of this level is environmental dangers like asteroids or blackholes.

Also, I've been bumping this for like a month and have shared it with several people. Utterly in love with the sound. Amazing job on this, Mittsies.

Big congratulations on the 1 million views. Been listening since this dropped, the views are very well deserved.
I'll admit I was somewhat skeptical that this album would be successful because it's just a standalone project, not a game soundtrack.
But yeah! Exciting stuff~
Mitts pulled a vanripper on us but it's squirrels in spacesuits instead of demons in tuxedos
I didn't expect to immediately fall in love with an album that got randomly recommended to me by RUclips 😳😳
Hell yeah new Mittsies album! I know what I'm going to be listening to non stop for the foreseeable future.
Loving the Ledgehugger track especially... that melody just stays comfortably in the back of my mind. Lovely music to do some work by.
Would fit *PERFECTLY* into a pixelated sci-fi game like Faster Than Light
FTL was in fact one of the many inspirations for the this album.

You have maintained your passion, creativity and public appreciation in many areas, which is really valuable
I will definitely spend a lot of time listening to this album in the future

I feel like my younger self listening to cool electric music, thinking about epic space games. This gave me nostalgia for no reason. Perfect soundtrack, the whole album is godly.
Damnit! Adults are stealing our vibes!
Hmm
what purpose does Space high heels provide other than lookin damn good?
Been listening to you since 2013, glad you've picked up more than a niche little following after Helltaker. You used to kick my ass in Mordhau a few years back.
Mordhau was a lot of fun, haha
I mean this in the post positive way I can : your music hits the ADHD JUST right. There's good layers in there. the beat keeps me working, the top melody keeps my brain tickled. The change in the tone inspires a narrative, without distracting from my current project.
love your work, thank you for sharing this with us
Could you possibly recommend more music like that for ADHD bros out there?
A full ablum!? In this economy!?
Deep Rock Galactic and Hotline Miami banged their beats together and out came a MITTSIES album? This is dope.

This is, in fact, very impressive work. Vanripper sure can draw attention in general feed, and once one clicks, there is no way back, music just gravitate all attention to itself. Glorious experience. Thank you.
I think I've listened to this album from start to finish at least 5 or 6 times since it popped up on my RUclips feed today. Freaking amazing!
It's quite addictive isn't it? I had to hear it countless times while working on it, and yet I'm still not tired of it.

This album is really meant to be listened to as one whole package.
my thoughts exactly. I recently discovered this and it just sounds great with anything.
@Mittsies Hmm.. yeah, it is more like one song with different movements (even if they can be very distinct) than an album.
So I'd say mission accomplished there.

I definitely agree.
For me braincell sound like a mix between FTL and hotline miami soundtrack and i absolutly love that
Braincell reminds me more of My Friend Pedro. But i'll agree with Phantom.
Never tired of you, Mittsies. I'm sad I just found this album just today after almost a year. Still love it, you are truly one of my inspirations
YOO, and Vanripper made the cover. Awesome duo you to are
for some reason, every time i tune in and hear floodlights as the opening track for the album, how it starts instantly mesmerizes me into that space feel. and the tracks that follow do nothing else but cement that feeling
your music is awesome, mittsies!
This was an awesome premier. I can't possibly pick a fav but I can say that "stranded" gave me great nostalgia, like playing flash games in the past and such.
Thanks for another great release Mittsies, hoping for many more bangers to come
Also merry early christmas and early happy new year everyone!!
Hey there Homie, I like your Warhammer Icon! I hope things get better for you soon.

Going through some processing, are we? It happens to the best of us, from the greatest minds in history to the least. Nothing wrong with that. If we didn't figure out how to control our own environment, we wouldn't have evolved very far, would we?

Hell yeah! Puts a smile on my face to see you and Vanripper still collaborating after all this time.
something about that suit makes me really want to try to 3d model it, it just looks so simple but still complex to model it, it makes me want to 3d model that suit, on top of that, this album is amazing
That sounds like fun, you should do it~
Go for it, that is great idea!
Thank you so much for keeping up the hard work.
Every song got that special "Mittsies" awesome vibe but it feels fresh and unique.
Braincell really boops with the bass, I love it.
Thanks for the comment. You may not be able to support me financially, but you can always share my work with your friends.
Super cute Space Squirrel there!
And the music is epic, too.
The entire album makes my mind race with individual little thoughts, stories, and scenes in a way very few other pieces or collections of music do, it feels like a very special project made a talented musician and I'm glad it exists.
it work well with FTL
No Man's Sky could fit your vision
yoooo new mittsies album!
+ bonus smug squirrel gal. Hope we get more of her! And more music!
I don't know what am I writing exactly, but let's name it my "love letter to your music"
I am a person, that was born in the years of hyping The Prodigy music in 2000x.
I can describe every song detailed(Does it gonna be interesting?)
All this prelude was said just to say:
Ledgehugger is SO emotionally-related to me.
And also your songs are a huge part of my real human life.
And right now after dance and art I do study in sound design college. Started to listen to popular music, but hear only individual sounds under the filters. This is not the case with your music. You put a lot of love into it.
Sincery your Alex

There was definitely a story in my head as I made these tracks, and I think the video helps present those ideas while still leaving it up to viewer intepretation.
