Today I explored the beautiful beach in Turkey
Avsallar and alanya the beach season is over, but the beaches are still open and beautiful. I walked along the beach and saw restaurants and little juice bars, I saw the big mosque this time of year there not too many visitors. A few stores were closed but I found some they were still open and some nice restaurants down in the heart of the city. The food was great. I bought some merchandise. We went to a little harbor with many old boats

This was so fun to watch! I lived in Turkey for 2 years in the early 90's. I even brought home the offspring of a Turkish street cat & she lived to be 20 years old. =)
The poor dogs there. Most of them are beautiful, they only need some care.
8:14 I'm surprised the dog isn't chasing the cats , its so weird , that is a wild dog
ya the dogs are friendly in the day timer , at night time they are probably a bit more aggressive , when I was in the middle east on vacation , I walked on a new road to another town at late in the day and a dog kept following me and barking , other dogs were also barking but they were far in the mountains , and the cars would not stop for me , they thought I'm homeless , a bus and a few cars drove by and I tried to get a ride but they did not stop , eventually I reached the other town , the dog was afraid to come to the main town , once you reach town they don't come in town , the dogs usually stay in the desert or the hills near the road , I don't know what the dogs problem was but it was a huge white dog , he kept barking and coming close than when I walked towards it it kept running away , I don't have a problem with the dogs , they were generally friendly , the street dogs are generally friendly , some people want the dogs removed but I didn't have a issue with the dogs , the dogs are actually great because once you start feeding them and stuff , they protect your area and stuff , they just sleep near the house and stuff and they bark if they see anything
@@sinabagherisarvestani8924 I had a similar experience in Cairo's Ma'adi district some years ago.
The dogs come out in the late afternoon, or early evening. Sometimes, this can be a scary experience when you're walking.
All these dogs at one point were owned by foreigners who just left them behind when going back to USA, Europe, etc.
A shame really.

8:06 Freakin Anatolian Shepherds running around... these are outstanding dogs who will guard you, your house and your whole herd of whatever from nasty predators. I'd be tempted to give one a home!

I used to live in nearby Side some years ago. I was working as a tour guide. Played for the local football team. Had a wonderful Turkish girlfriend. all in all a really good life. Maybe I should have stayed forever. But I am a wanderer and a globetrotter, so I moved on. Still go back to visit Turkey every year though.

I think I'd rather be there in Türkiye (Istanbul, Antalya, Fethiye, etc.) than in Venice Beach CA(?), even though I have enjoyed some previous visits to the LA coastal areas. thanks for sharing, enjoy

Wenn die Sonne scheint waere das um so Perfekter aber man kann nicht alles haben.In Antalya und Alanya leben auch viele Deutsche vor allem Rentner.Ich hoffe das du auch Mal irgendwann Istanbul besuchst obwohl es gibt viele schöne Orte in der Türkei.

Mostly Turkish people love animals, and they are taking care of..I'm taking care of 9 cats here in Istanbul:)

In der Türkei werden kastrierte Tiere markiert, in dem ein Stück vom Ohr geschnitten wird. Dort gibt es (nicht nur) deutsche Auswanderer, die sich um die Tiere kümmern.
Du und Mama sollten unbedingt Hammam machen. Es ist wirklich schön. Lg

I understand Turkey has a real good food scene. Lots of good stuff.
Turkey is a very popular destination for Germans, British, Arabs, Iranians, Russians and Ukrainians. Many Germans bought houses and condos in Alania, Antalia. But now the housing prices are rocketed. Russians bought most of the properties in the Mediterranean part. I am not even counting the Arabs they left no houses on the black sea part.

Those Indian Fig (or Laurel Ficus) trees on that street sure did remind me of LA. Palm trees & succulent plants too. But stores closing for the day & not having to lock up their merchandise? That sure as hell isn't like LA. lol. Turkey has both good & bad sides, but so does America.
The homeless in L.A. would have a field day when facing a situation like that!

What’s crazy is that there are so many similarities between places here in the US and there…travel halfway around the world and it looks almost the same as home…excerpt for dogs and cats running around…dejavu…

I was stationed in the military in Turkey for 1 year. I was at Incirlik AB, Adana, Turkey, Balikesir Turkey, Istanbul, Izmir, Turkey. It was an interesting experience.
