- آمرسی دورترین دریاچه در شمال و - پس از دریاچه چیمسی و دریاچه استارنبرگ - سومین دریاچه بزرگ کوهپایه ای در بایرن است. این دریاچه به عنوان یک منطقه ثبت نشده به همین نام، متعلق به ایالت آزاد است که اداره کاخ‌ها، باغ‌ها و دریاچه‌های ایالتی باواریا مسئول آن است.
