    With that flush where you had queen high you called his bet but realy shouldn't you have raised as he had left less than one big blind left so even if he was beating you its one more big blind for a bounty

    • @arthurjameson2178
      @arthurjameson2178 3 дня назад

      The other person was polarized. They don't bet that size with the J of diamonds so he only beat a bluff.
      If he raised the bluffs fold that last big blind and the value calls so there's no point. Even though it's only 1BB.
      Tbf you only see this stuff balanced well in high stakes so if you saw this in micro/low stakes you probably wouldn't be going wrong by raising with the queen if you were gonna call anyway.

    I've always wondered why you jam on the river when you have value hands. Is it so that when you have medium strength and weak hands that it makes your bluffs more believable. I feel like you miss out on value when you jam on the river and I see a ton of folds when you could of bet half pot and got called. Not knocking it just wondering the reason.

      So my understanding it’s about balancing his range between value and air, as well the times he gets calls when he jams with value outweighs the EV he makes if he makes a smaller bet and gets called slightly more often. Plus in bounty formats you want to jam the river when a bounty is on the line especially if you’re the covering stack.

      @joshuapatrick682 thanks for replying 🙏. That was what I figured. I should of asked as well if it makes a difference if your playing for bou ties or not

      Guess you don't play many bounty tournaments. Did you see the utg player limp? They can still re open the action, against aggressive regulars they see 20bb of dead money and a bounty on the line. Sometimes you need to take risks in poker, good luck in the $5.50 bounty builder

      The audacity of some of you ppl is actually 🤯!!
      To honestly think that you can credibly critique a credentialed professional player who has publicly played & made hundreds of thousands of dollars is insane!!!
      And, He's made more than that I'm just talking about the $ he's made on stream for the whole 🌏 to see.
      Truth be told this comment is "HORRENDOUS" as well because he actually didn't "overcall" bud.
      UTG limped & wasn't the original raiser, & then the 2players to the left of the original raiser took no action making Lex the first person to CALL the raise.
      Meaning he just called or "cold called" if you will.
      In the future maybe don't say stupid shit when you don't even know what you're talking about 🤦🏼🤣.
      Like the other commenter who replied said but I'll be more realistic, GL in the next freeroll Mr. Big-time 💰!! 🤣

    8:25, why don't you shove for his last 0.2 BB and his bounty ??? He's gonna call with the Jd or the Td, you only lose to one card. But maybe I'm missing something...

    • @lennartbeumelburg253
      @lennartbeumelburg253 6 дней назад +1

      Cause he’s not betting the jack like that, overbet in this case means nuts or air, so he either calls with the ace or folds anyway

      @@lennartbeumelburg253 lol 105 BB pot... you think that 0.2BB making any difference? xD Gotta go for the bounty all day every day.

    • @lennartbeumelburg253
      @lennartbeumelburg253 6 дней назад

      @@Phoenixglj I agree i probably would have done so too since 0.2 BB really doesnt make a difference here, if there is even a 0.5 % chance that he calls with the jack its already worth it. But in reality I really think that chance is 0 because at this level he doesn't bet it like that in the first place, so there's no EV in raising for the bounty. But you're of course right, 0.2 BB doesn't matter at all here.

    • @Phoenixglj

      @@lennartbeumelburg253 After he donked off his stack he's calling ANY 2 cards for the remaining 0.2BBs for 160BB pot surely xD

    • @lennartbeumelburg253
      @lennartbeumelburg253 6 дней назад

      @@PhoenixgljNo he actually isn’t, the high stakes people do this all the time leaving behind a big or half a big, and then of course folding their bluffs. If he doesn’t fold his bluffs theres no point in leaving behind anything in the first place.
