One of my fondest memories from Twitch and it always will be. One of the toughest fields I have ever played in. Every table had some of the best in the world on it. I'm very happy with my shortstack/ICM (payjumps) decisions. I've done tons of reviewing and I'm very happy with the adjustments. Shoutout to spraggy as well who was an absolute champ in all of this and just a great guy in general. Hope you enjoy.
I have learned so much by watching your streams, thank you so much for all you do for the poker community. U deserve all the recent success, cause you worked your ass off!
That hand when you had 88 vs C Darwin’s QQ. He literally checked back the turn when you hit your set of 8’s and then just calls the tiny bet on the river. It’s like he can see your cards and knows exactly when he’s beat to lose the absolute minimum. That’s insane!
@@tomba7342 I think the only hands who would call the 3bet preflop and call the flop are 66+ ( maybe AJs/AQs, but's that's questionable). So he could get value from 66, 77, TT and JJ, but its hard to get 3 streets of value. Also could Lex have slowplayed AA or KK, so I think he was cautious. A raise on the river would make no sense, because he only gets called by better. However, I would have bet the turn and have gone broke.
Geweldige prestatie Lex! Ik scroll altijd door youtube heen in de hoop dat je een stream gepost hebt. Ik leef met je mee alsof het mijn eigen toernooien zijn die ik speel. Keep up the good work. Je hebt absoluut mijn gun factor!!

After hearing all the stories about this I finally get to see it. Also after to listening to spraggy on poker in the ears about this day what a gent he is. Both of you are. Awesome ambassadors for this wonderful game. GG Lex
Hi Lex, can you please explain that All-In against that early opening at 43:38 to me? Is it, because you have him covered and the BTN has a wide calling range? I‘m always happy to learn.
I think Lex is the only poker "pro" I'd give my money to (as a potential investment.) I mean that sincerely. I wouldn't give it to Dwan or Ivey or any of those guys. But, Lex, I PROBABLY would. He is probably, one of the best in the WORLD, at SPOTTING hand-to-hand opportunities, are understanding the EXACT VALUE of calling, checking, or folding, in EACH unique situation. I've been playing over 20 years, with success, so I don't give-out compliments easily. But, this dude deserves them. #Respect.
Awesome!!!! I havent won one since a PLO HI/Low last 7/30/19, with 9 wins, I want my 10th bad, and have watched your streams for inspiration! Keep Doin what u Do! Jn
hey lex the 108s hand is very interesting at 53:55. did you ever look at that to see if you were correct in folding the turn? i guess technically you were not priced in but then when you factor in implied odds. but on the bubble to. seriously interesting hand. any thoughts on that would be cool!
And always talking about perfect bet lol. Why watch his stream when he never make this call everyone want to see. And if he play this hand he cannot fold on this turncard thats just chips wasting no sense play
do u know sicker multi tabler than markovitius,he is playin 5k main 180man sng,hot 3.30 and all scoops..total sicko,i think i have never saw him below 18-20 tabbles
lex in my openion you said its not big deal its hurts but not to much but i think a9 vs a4 then hatrick suckout that hand was veryy veryyy important i think most important hand if you winn that hand you can pressure you can do moves and everything this is your game to make moves and stuff but after what hand you have to slow down and wait some big hands : (
Lex, you're a better player than me, I freely admit that, but I think you made a mistake regarding the hand at 1:10:00 (when you had the set of 7's, which was nicely hidden because of turn check.) Here's my reasoning, if you feel I'm STILL wrong after reading, don't be shy, tell me I'm a idiot! The smartest thing to do imo, given that EXACT situation (out of position, against an aggressive player with a HUGE CHIP STACK, who is LIKELY already drawing dead or INCREDIBLY thin) was CALL his turn-bet, and LEAD the river (for 20% pot) on TOTAL BRICKS, just to prevent him checking-thru his (occasional) top pair holdings. And, a 20% bet could be interpreted as VALUE or a BLOCKER. However, if a spade or 10, J, Q, K comes (cards that give his BLUFFS credibility, AND cards that could VERY-WELL improve him to two-pair or trips) you CHECK, and go for the throat with a check-raise. If he has ONE high spade, he HAS to bluff (almost) if you check, and a 3rd spade comes on the river. If he hits two pair or trip queens, he almost HAS to value bet if you check. In short, I guess because of your nemesis chip-stack, and his position, I give his turn bet VERY little credibility. And, when someone has a weak hand, with almost no equity, you don't want to raise them out. Last thing bro, the strategy I've discussed here takes immense balls, and I couldn't do it in a MILLION YEARS for a 10k buy-in. I would have done the same thing you did, and re-raise him all-in. But, I think the OPTIMAL STRATEGY would be what I've discussed. But, again, you're better than me. I could be wrong. I'm definitely idiotic from time to time.
Lex is amazing, how would you compare him to say, Jeff Gross or Matthew Staples? (Two other amazing players) I've played in some $1 tournaments before, I almost never cash and I've never made a final table. So I know how tough it is!
no...no you don't actually know how tough this is. When you gonna start making some final tables here and there, you will realize how tough it really is to keep your money, and to not tilt when youre on a downswing
Don’t follow as close as maybe I did 5 years ago but 🍻 anyway. I’ll throw in a shoutout to young Lex on high stakes to not be so damn aggressive all the time. This whole getting older shit sucks. Dude your chat, you may want to move away from the screen in case it gets overwhelmed by emojis. 😂 I’m not thinking in standard poker shit anymore.✊ Glad I stayed till end to see the real celebration of #1 twitch streamer for the day. That is the poker streaming 🐐.
Congrats on the deep run considering like you said being short from the money bubble. Played the short stack perfectly. I’m sure it’s humbling to know how many people watch/learn/get entertained by your stream!
About my comment on last video which got the like from thus beast.. Thanks so much.. Big fan.. Great run man. I’m a long time RUclips viewer of yours and just recently subbed for the first time. You must move the sub emote form the top middle. It blocks hands when it’s all in vs the top seated player (couldn’t see bencb’s hand in your knockout hand until the river)
Im not really sure but i think in a big tournament like this its better to be more nitty. Because nearly everybody playing is a reg or pro. They could pick up on the fact hes not beating a boat and blast him off the hand. But im just a low stakes player what do i know *shrug*
56:00 this is worst played hand ever, calling from the small blind with T8 to check fold turn with infinate outs, the call pre is terrible followed by terrible fold on turn, i dont think inhave ever seen Lex butcher a hand this much before !
I just watched hand back, didn't realise cut off actually limped, but stick by the turn fold, ICM or not once we see this turn, with implied odds you just can't fold
In turn a good raise is like 32..that goes like a nice bluff and a good way to try to take that pot, more having that 9...and he must call.., don't raise..or maybe yes..and don't see a 9 more or a A on river..you just put 50more..and you took more too. 34..to 82..big diference. A hand to play it..with that A on flop..to win a lot or lose a lot..dont worry
MR M no its not. Bunch of zeros missing. Buy in wise yes, but do you consider 62$ and 62k$ as equal? And how many times is a regular person going to play 10k$ tournament? And how much more happy would one be cashing 62k in 10k tourney than 62$ in 10$ tourney. Just asking.
AQ is not a monster hand in tournaments .. I wish you would play more tight when there’s this much money at stake .. you had a decent chip stack to make final table

58:32 DAMN that is devastating. being bubble with AK and about 50 BB's, and losing to a 55..... $10K buy in, losing to 55 on Bubble...

One of the greatest. That hand taught me a lot
Did he know he was beat on the flop or turn or was he just playing it safe? I mean if you have queens you have to get value out of it.
