There are a few sinners prayers in the bible. If you are putting this out there for us to answer, for me, I know that I have sinned and that despite coming to Jesus, I will still sin so the sinners prayer contains heartfelt confession, belief in jesus and the way to salvation, so this is the instructions that I follow so that I stay clean. So if , say I inadvertently tell a lie. I will, at that moment realise and regret (repent) that lie, then I will take it to God, believing that God will be gracious and forgive me. The sin then is forgotten and I am saved from judgement on the last day. Hope this helps.x
