So peaceful. Just need to get a vario and I’m ready for the season. Hopefully.

Good to see you back. Our club field here in western Canada is finally snow free so once the temps get a bit warmer I'll get my season started.

I’d love to see some videos coming out of Canada. It must be a very short flying season for you guys?

You would be welcome to join Josh and myself for an afternoons flying. If you’re on Facebook there is a group called Slope Soaring in Wales. Ask to join and then I usually try to post if I’m flying that weekend, unless it’s a last minute decision.

Don't worry about puffing. I've been climbing that hill for 50 years, and I'm still struggling. But I think of it as a SE slope, with NE if needs be. You seem to be flying in another direction, that's a new one for me.

Meio is definitely a SW facing slope with a NE option also. If there’s a light wind of any direction and I want to thermal soar, then the top of Meio, being a flat ish top, is good for any direction. For SE sloping I tend to go to Blaen Bran at Upper Cwmbran. My next video was filmed there and should be available next Monday.
