This is just me, but I think it would have been really epic to have Monotone let out a roar of rage at around 3:51, symbolizing how even when imitating the strongest Impostor in the mod, he still can’t kill BF. He begins to lose composure of his shapeshifting abilities, resulting in his perfect disguises to meld together into a disgusting mass of red, green, and black impostor bodies fighting for dominance in the blob of his visage repertoire. After 4:34, Monotone would be seen kneeling in defeat before BF, completely devoid of color, a representation of how he lost himself in his own abilities that he can’t recall who, or even what, he is supposed to be. Once BF finishes the song, Monotone turns to dust and blows away, scattered across the cosmos to become part of something much larger than the ego he once had. Yeah, it’s a bit much, and is really deep for funni beebop game, but I feel like it would be perfect in this context.
Tbh given how strategic and calculated Monotone seems to be, he probably would be the last one to get angry and have a tantrum, so him not scream and just going try hard near the end fits a bit more. But just my opinion.
Well, not like the song is better, or they added a mechanic, or be original. Literally almost every video of remaking songs is just shading, camera movement, outline. I don’t see what’s BETTER about it, because even the old one was good without these, it just doesn’t feel better than the old one.
This is cool, I was just hoping I would hear the impostor shapeshifting sound effect or animation cause I feel like it would've been the cherry on top. Otherwise, this is awesome! The shading, the camera zooms is pretty cool, great job! :D
It feels like the moment he switches from red to green is instantly and the stage changes to match and imagine your bf in this spot and you are on regular flooring and then you are floating in air and then back on solid ground when it changes to black

A little touch that could have been added to this song is near the end when it’s switching to everyone, maybe red could have been in his meltdown sprites? I always thought that woulda been a cool touch to this song, but that’s just me ALSO, love the lighting and shading, ESPECIALLY on black, that’s INSANE

Man this is really cool. I have one suggestion tho. Maybe try making it so that the yellow glint in monotone's eye glows for real and isn't dark. Same with the red ones for green's parasite and black. Edit: I realize that blacks is basically invisible. 😢
