I'm so excited for you! I'm eloping in two weeks and just need to get my shoes. Honestly, I decided I wanted a tea length dress with quarter length sleeves, googled it found the Kennedy dress at BHLDN and bought it the week after I was engaged. The pockets also sold me on it xD.

Word to the wise: Pick a dress you love, but also pick a dress you FEEL comfortable in. This is your day to feel extra special! Don't settle for something that ONLY looks fabulous. Pick a dress that feels like home and at the same time feels like a safari adventure. You need both pockets for your tissues and gemstones to accentuate your inner sparkle. I tried on so many dresses... they just weren't right... weren't right... and then the shop assistant listened to me and said, "The dress you are wearing is designed to be worn over petticoats to give it that Cindrella look, but try it without the petticoats." I remember that comment even now so many years later because once I looked at myself in the mirror I recognized ME... and not just me at my best looking but also me as a person with my own likes and dislikes ... my own flavors that my loved ones would recognize and experience with me throughout a day of celebrating both who I was and who I would become.
Idk this comment was so cute and lovely, I don't know you but when I imagined the situation it was so cute I teared up since I never heard such a nice description of that moment and feeling.
So happy that you found it and it was probably really beautiful on you.

@@manonrutjens8789 When a couple "elopes" it means they didn't go with having a wedding with guests and stuff but just went ahead and got married without inviting anyone to a party or anything, just went and got married. Then they call people and tell them they got married. :D Sometimes even their very own parents.

She opted to elope and didn’t have the big wedding/ ceremony but in the end it’s what she wants to wear and feel comfortable it’s her day not meant to please others only her and her partner.

Dress 2 and 8 were my favorites on you lol. My dress wasn't what I thought I would like at all and when I tried it on it was like it was made for me specifically.
I really enjoyed watching this video!!! I'm far from getting married (no partner, no wedding haha), so I'm a bit hesitant to watch wedding-related videos... I like the trumpet dress but I don't like the way they did the zipper. It ruined the line. Number 7 with the drop waist was very pretty on you. was kinda like a ballerina princess! Number eight was gorgeous too, I loved the back as well!

ikr, i could never rock a drop waist since I have a long abdomen/torso and short legs :( I always opt for high waisted to make my legs look longer.
Dresses 6 & 8 were my personal favorites and they looked incredible on you. Number 8 (the strapless) is classic but also very eye catching because the fabric is more detailed. It’s a solid choice and you can’t go wrong with it. The lhuillier, however, made you look like a princess straight out of a fairytale. I absolutely loved how the sleeves were executed. They were the least bulky and the beading on them was absolutely perfect. I’m not a fan of long sleeved wedding dresses but this one really snuck up on me. When you sat down in the kind of “mushroom” pose it was game over, looking like a whole new Disney Cinderella remake. That dress clearly won. Try to change my mind.

I'm currently planning my own wedding and I had some ideas but they all went overboard... small turned into big, gardenparty into restaurant, I feel kinda sad... make sure YOUR wedding is what YOU imagine!
I had the same problem this year. We wanted to keep it small and secret and then one of the people who knew could‘nt keep it a secret and suddenly everyone wanted to be invited and had opinions about how we should celebrate. I really had some sleepless nights because of it. And then we made the best decision we could do and just did what WE wanted. We had our ceremony and ate lunch with parents, grandparents and siblings and then we went home and had a little apartment party with our clostest friends. It is your wedding and you should do what you both want and feel comforteable with. At the end no one hated us for doing what we liked.
Don’t be sad..no it’s your wedding..rain it back in and cut the fat..it’s ur and ur fiancé’s day don’t make it about anyone else..
@@hofnarf I married this year on april and I had an specific rule for that with my husband: Invite people who are in your life i mean people that you talk recently in this year, people that saw grow that love that you have and people that will give you good energy in this special day. They are going to say why didn't you invite me to your wedding... but you don't have to explain everything to them.

Wow, such a personal thing to post. Thank you for sharing this moment with your fans as well. You looked beautiful in all of them, however, you have the perfect shape for a BERTA dress. They have a long sleeve lace one with a keyhole back. You should also try the iconic VERA WANG strapless rose dress (possibly in blush?). Though when I worked in bridal, Vera also had a long sleeve with the similar chiffon skirt. Vera also has bridesmaid dresses with the rose chiffon skirt too!

For me dress 2 was the most beautiful, really stunning & just suited you best, so feminine yet sophisticated & modern. Dress 6 was also lovely as well. The strapless dresses were the least flattering & it’s been done to death with every bride in middle America wearing them.
2, 6, 9. I would say long sleeve dresses looked the best on you, but again I was surprised that dress number 9 looked amazing too. Perfect fit!

The back of #4 was WOW but the front slightly generic. #6 seemed to best combine things you liked, had an elegant shape but the sparkly beading is kind of fresh and not too old-fashioned. You seem attracted to textural details so I can see you going for something beautifully beaded like #6 or a skirt with unique layers like #9. If you went for a sleeveless bodice I can imagine you with a dramatic necklace that some brides would be intimidated to wear, but you have the collarbones and poise to pull off. But we all know you'll look beautiful in whatever you choose!

As it is, I bought a Kirstie Kelly dress off Groupon for $175!!! Emerald is the name of the dress. I LOVE my dress! The lace, the diamond seams, the vines decorating the skirt, the cap sleeves-I love it all, especially for the price!!! I feel stunning in my dress!!! Looking forward to when I'll get to wear it!!!

Ur favourites were exactly my favourite too. You looked so lovely. Wen you said the dress is heavy. (One of the dress ). I kinda laughed. Because I’m from India.
