    I feel that Malaysian food has many varieties. the price is affordable. and the money is relatively reasonable. so it attracts many people from our island countries to go to Malaysia to look for food and travel. Thanks u Elmo for intro the scenic spots and food. 🇲🇾 🤝 🇸🇬 🙏.

    A really interesting and lots of hidden gems in this Yulek food haunting episode. Thanks to Garry and a really warm welcome back to Danny. The spread of food at Yulek is really Yatt Lau and Mou Tak Deng indeed. Starting from fatty corner to Celebrity Dragon gate - all the venues and the type of local varieties are mouthwatering dishes indeed ! Can’t help but giving my opinion that the food offered locally seems to look and taste better than some of the overseas dishes that Elmo tasted recently. In fact - the stalls , restaurants and coffee shops visited in this Yulek episode has much to offer for every food hunters. Lastly - maybe Danny can stay a lot longer to really savor and enjoy Malaysian food as there is no comparison with NY there ( inclusive of pricing ). Thank you Elmo for sharing this Yulek episode and my deduction ( not conclusion ) is that local places seems to have a place more than many other foreign destinations I. My opinion. Reasonably priced , good taste and excellent people like Garry Loke 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽.

    Sorry but I laughed out loud when I hear that the fried fish and pork knuckle were Ala carte items. That's how they make money! 😂

    To call a spade a spade, TAR/UTAR is one of the most remarkable contributions of MCA as it enables more children from impoverish families for higher education, regardless of race and background.
    To be honest, Cheras was not my favorite area during my days in Klang Valley. I must admit Cheras is a lively place and has a lot of good foods to offer, albeit it's coarse and messy - a big contrast to PJ SS2 and Subang Jaya in my point of view. Still remember "Celebrity Dragon Gate". To say that chicken rice it serves could be on a par with some renowned stalls in Ipoh would be an understatement. Supple and succulent, one of if not the best in my opinion.

    Just passed by Yulek this afternoon, seems like Fatty Corner is now an empty shop. Does anyone have any ideas where the stalls are relocated?

    • @malaysiafood328
      @malaysiafood328  10 месяцев назад +1

      You r right mate an unscrupulous new owner took over the kopitiam and raised the rent of the stalls ridicously chasing all the vendors away. When they reopen check the ir prices b4 patronizing

    我个人认为这里比较多客家人,中国广东有个地方叫蕉岭,也是客家人的地方。以前中国来的客家人就想家乡就取这样的名字。像龙溪dengkil 在中国福建也有这样的名字。这只是我个人猜测,没有证据支持我的想法。

    Dear Elmo just a friendly reminder, using ‘Lei Gan Ye’ especially ’Ye’ to describe a shop is not quite polite, although I think most viewers won’t mind.
