These Tourists need to realise that these are serving Military Personnel not a theme park attraction. even his son thought it was funny maybe learn some manners and respect
I think that is part of the problem. They think that the guards there for a photo opt. They are military and are on duty. When they, the tourist, yank on the chain, there can be serious problems with that. We own horses and I have an understanding of it.
Wow! Talk about blatant disregard and disrespect! You can see by his reaction when walking off, laughing, that he went up there with a plan. He grabbed the chain and yanked, and wouldn't let go until the guard pushed him off with her horse and yelled at him! He perhaps thought the female guard wouldn't challenge him. He should have been arrested. If you touch a K9 officer, a dog, in a unacceptable manner in the U.S., you are charged with assault, as he is a working officer. It should be no different there. Well done to the guard in getting him away from her and her partner! Once settled, she reassured her horse.
Totally agree. He had it planned and thought it was great after he'd done it. He should have been arrested and fined. Likely he's a visitor to the UK, so putting him in jail would be more trouble than needed ( missed flights, no visa to stay longer, family would have to go home without him, etc) , so a hefty fine might make these asshat think twice about such disrespect to working soldiers and their horses.

I thought exactly the same. He was being peevish and disrespectful. Laughing like an idiot proved it. Attention seeker or troublemaker.
I had to rewind it twice as I was sure he said 'come on' and he did, all the while grinning like an idiot. He knew exactly what he was doing.
Simple solution would be to rope off the horse and guard from the public, then it would be look but unable to touch, those horses shouldn't be constantly touched and pulled by the public, they should be roped off from tourists.
Unfortunately that's not possible it's a public street and ropes or barriers would be dangerous for both horse and guard .
Luckily the collar-chain is designed to hold a horse and prevent it from breaking the line, that said, that was the design of the original, these may be decorative versions. Either way the last I looked they cost £250 and that was ages ago. 😡
Its time they painted an exclusion zone in a bright colour to prevent this sort of thing or somebody is going to get hurt badly.
Paint? Ridiculous. A barricade preventing anyone from coming 30ft. away.
no, its time they make an example of a few of these people
They have a sign in plain site saying 'don't touch the reigns' as dumb tourists go out of their way to touch the reigns
There's literally a sign on the wall. They choose to ignore. Complacency is ruining everything. A flat smack across that idiots arm with the flat of that sword would have taught him real quick
Do these tourists think that this is Disneyland?
Never put your arm🖐🏾 within reach of a girl with a Sword🗡️
Outrageous.
I was pleased to see "don't touch the reins" added to the warning sign. But it seems that people still don't read or obey the signs.
Why people think they are at a petting zoo is beyond me
Stopped smiling didn't he 😂
This Lady can handle her Horse..he lost his stupid grin when the officer approached him..This could have been serious had the Guard not acted so fast.
Muy irrespetuosos e ignorantes.😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Not ignorant. he very deliberately grabbed and yanked on the chain. He was laughing after the incident...right up until the police talked to him. And even then he didn't care. The police should have arrested him for assault and fined him.
Of course, torment the bloody horse just for your amusement!
That guy should have definitely been arrested. He knew what he was doing, and look at the look on the kid’s face. These are people who go around the world doing exactly what they want. Touching the officer, was not only also disrespectful, but is illegal in many places. Keep your hands to yourself. I marvel that needs to be said.
Yes, true! To put a hand on a police officer is technically ’assaulting a police officer’. Pity this idiot wasn’t charged; then he’d be laughing on the other side of his face.
Bloody terrible 😡
The police should have put him in jail . Cause his son was laughing too. With no regards to the horse or the gaurd.. The man jerked the horse head side ways. He should have got arrested.
Guy should've been arrested and charged, stupidity is not an excuse! We are to soft in this country the law only seems to attack motorists or working class.
The police are way too soft. They should have hauled him off and given him a real bollocking.
