@@Baldcafe It makes you look older, had the same issue so I keep a low number despite my NW3, you can notice my bald crown but I still have some hair in the mid-front
Almost all balding guys that shave their head ALSO grow some kind of beard, long or short. Only those who can't grow a beard, or it's too thin (so they can't grow it to look full) have no choice but but to have no hair above the neck. It simply shows that hair remains super important, you compromise and change it's location from head to face. Guys with great hair have the option to shave their face or grow a beard, the bald guys have no choice but to grow a beard or stay frustrated (unless you're a celebrity, then you can do whatever you like).
While I’m pro being full bald versus balding, I can’t help but sometimes think to myself it’s the equivalent of having your front teeth missing and saying to yourself “well I might as well knock out all the rest of my teeth now” instead of coughing up the money and the time to get the missing teeth replaced. It’s unfortunate that in this day and age there aren’t easier, less invasive, affordable alternatives to hair loss other than the obvious which is shaving or I would have gone that route. Also, hair does serve a purpose as no one talks about how cold it can be without it. I wear a hat way more now that I’m bald than I did when I had some hair left and there was that thermal layer there. Now I’m often cold.
I find myself getting to warm very easy since shaving my hair. I enjoyed Ur comment and can't agree more. I enjoy less worrying but I had a bad response to when I shaved. Sometimes still do. But I had or have alopecia on top of naturally going. So bit difficult for mee.
He looked so much better with hair, embrace balding crowne look. I shaved mine few wks ago, worst decision, i look terrible shaved head, like a bouncer, i lost all my confidence..im in process now growing back like his original hairstyle
I decided to let it go. I shaved my head twice last year, and it was cool, but then I got dermathitis and let my hair grow again. My head is full of scales right now. Once my scalp becomes healthy, I will shave again.
This is always an interesting debate. I saw a guy on the r/bald forum say it was more difficult at 40 because he had hair for all his life... do you agree?
Yes indeed! I had a full set of hair pretty much into my 40s and I, too, thought I was "safe"! Now, at 52, crown is quite thin indeed so I, too, am now shaving my head bald and loving it.
If you're married you care less probably. I know few folks who got married in their 20s with the 1st or 2nd gf as they panicked once they started balding that women will not want them bald. It's sad but I'm sure you've heard about such cases as it's so common.
Part about doing it because you can't stand the bald spot - good. Part about doing it because you think other people are constantly fixated on your bald spot - not good. People will never pay as much attention to your appearance as you do as the owner of your body. Other people often see your hair loss in a binary way: Either you've lost so much that your hair looks ridiculous, or they don't really notice the hair loss, they see you as a person with normal hair. I would probably fall into the second category, since I see that one of the most important parts of your hair appearance, the front lock, is pretty much there and looks strong.
This guy looks to have a lot more hair than most balding guys featured on this channel He doesn't look anywhere near the stage where he has to shave it on top of his head encouraging guys to shave it off much too early is the negative downside of this channel
Actually looks good and doing away with the anxiety about the inevitable is enough reason to have done this alone. That said, his girlfriend didn't seem particularly receptive to the look and the low enthusiasm "it looks good" wouldn't fill me with confidence. In fact, I would mentally prepare myself for this moment marking the decline of the relationship and need to find a woman who likes the look. That's not impossible though (although she may be less attractive than the ones who don't like it and can get a good looking guy with hair).
@@evanc5676 Yes because no man is an island and very few operate in a vacuum where intimacy with and validation from others (including the opposite sex) is something they can do without. @@dianavivi8 Are you the girl in the video? 1) I don't necessarily believe the hair loss won't affect your perception of him although I believe you think it won't. 2) Had you been introduced to him bald rather than with hair, you would likely, statistically speaking, not be interested in him.
Well, at least you can dye it, no problem. I'm at the last era of my hair as the crown is starting to disappear! Yikes! Soon, I will be joining this group. But I was in the military, and I know how I look with no almost no hair (or how used to look with a buzz cut). That was a long time ago.
Your hair looked pretty good, it just needed to be cut short. Either way bald is good too, i am going to be there in 5 years i think. i am 35 and have similar hair to yours
You may be the last person to realise you're at that point when you get there but ultimately the only person where it actually matters. At the end of the day men shave their beards off everyday and basically feminise themselves by doing so, yet this is socially normalised in much of the world, yet suddenly worry about shaving their heads. If you naturally have a beard and are naturally losing your hair, no worries, that's just naturally you, and are absolutely not alone.
I would do anything to have as much hair as you still have. It’s just f crazy that you shave your head with so much hair still left. For f sake, try minoxidil, finasteride… or hair transplant and get your crown back. I’m f Norwood 6 and I’m still hopping to get my hair back (but I’m 99% sure that this will never happen because I’m like 15 years too late). Sorry mate but I’ll be honest with you, you look 20 years older without hair… this is the harsh reality…
I've been shaving my head for 18 years: best decision I ever made along with not smoking. You look 100% better mate, get into shaving it with a razor, it's easy with practice. Congratulations.
@@Baldcafe I think so. I believe a lot of guys panic. We are bombarded with messages on what's perfect 24/7. As soon as a guy starts losing his hair... suddenly he's not perfect... and needs to take care of it. Many of the guys you showcase could have easily not done anything, or maybe changed their hairstyle a bit. One day we will teach our boys that going bald is a natural part of maturing. We need to accept it. It should be OK to just wear your hair as you want... balding, shaved, buzzed, whatever. All the stress around drugs, rugs and plugs... too much wasted time, effort, pain and money.
I needed to here this 35 and similar hair to this guy posting. Saw the back in a photo and freaked. slowly realizing everone i know always new my hair its me that has the issue @baldnbearded

Fiber would still be good for a while, but it becomes another constant worry before long as well, since he already has someone that makes it easier to go full shave..Whereas there's girls that outright reject a shaved head. It is easy to get used to, just that other people sometimes still don't is what I deal with

The biggest problem with going bald is the anxiety it causes. Actually it's the only real problem. You can get an insight into this within the first 15 seconds of this video. What is the worst case scenario of balding? the one you fear most?... Going bald. So when you shave your head and go bald you are essentially standing up to and testing those anxieties and getting rid of them. In a nut shell anyway. Of course there are complexities. Is being excessively paranoid about having zero horse shoe showing so needing to shave it like Avery 24 hrs another form of hiding, yes, that also needs to we worked through. But as for getting rid of the hiding (safety behaviours) and the anxiety, shaving your head is for sure the best option in my opinion.
Using fibers is just another crutch and safety behavior at the end of the day though. Better to accept it, face the anxiety and be free from all of that. Nothing stupid about it.
At this rate it's either all or nothing. Theres nothing wrong with balding, friends. It ≠ shaving your head bald in all scenario's. Im not speaking to this man, but for many whos hairloss is like his but shaving their head is equally bothersome. No hair system, no surgery, just deal with getting older. I think at some point this becomes body dismorphia. Next comes the tattoos steroids bc you still don't like how it looks. Here's a man with a gf who's happy with him but is caught up in the bro-cast manosphere :(
@@Rob-z7khaha really? A vitamin deficiency? Don’t you think the balding crown and receding temples suggest that this in now way can be a vitamin deficiency but is just male pattern baldness?
@Jonkoloog to MY initial point, these men who are getting jacked and razor their head will slow down out of this trend, believe me. When they're 50-60 they'll be sporting a horse shoe as Harry often does and they'll have a dad bod and you'll see what a trend it actually was all along.
This guy overreacted! He still has plenty of hair, especially the most important area, the frontal hairline! He should have investigated a hair transplant, first! But, the new look doesn't look bad, on him!
That's ridiculous, he had a more or less great looking head of hair with balding at the crown, easily pulled it off and it looked decent, (grow it back as soon as you can) baldcafe has level 10 extreme horseshoe balding, he's trying to get everyone to shave their heads, why?
Listen to the first 20 seconds of this video 10 times. Understand that balding is about being anxious and insecure. Then recognise that shaving the head removes all of that hiding behavior which is how you overcome the problem of balding which is the anxiety.
That's not an answer either that's fake, then he could stress about it coming off all the time...... No best thing shave it all off then you ain't got to worry about nothing coming off you ain't got to worry about having a fake tribble looking wig on your head
I have worse balding than him and I don't shave anything off, because I'm comfortable with my balding as I am. It is what it is, why be a whiny crybaby like this guy?
@@Baldcafe Like I said, him being all sensitive and soft about this topic. People die all over the world because of hunger, illnesses and wars. Nobody sits in Syria or Palestine and complains about losing hair to another guy online. This is what Western men have become: A bunch of soft and weak complainers, who can't handle something as simple and meaningless as hair loss. No wonder many men in the West can't handle death of their loved ones or break-ups when you have hair loss crushing their psyche. Oh and one more thing: balding is not what led to the guys you interview lose their "confidence". They never had one to begin with. Now that they're bald, they're pretending to be "confident". That's what annoys me, too.

Thank you! It took me about 4 or 5 days and now I can’t imagine going back to the way it was before. I love it now.
Bald is beautiful. Looking good mate.
Way too early, I would kill to have as much hair as he has
Same
Thinning crown like that is just natural. And your hair did seem fine from other angles so I dont really get how you are making it such a big deal. It looks great now as bald but I didnt see much problem with the hair either.
Listen to the first 20 seconds of the video again

In society women can turn a man down for being bald or losing his hair. But if we turn them down for being fat all hell breaks loose.
😅😂😅😂😅
I never turn down even if my boyfriend is bald or not
Love my man ❤
The new look suits you!
Fin, micro needling, and min could have made a huge recovery!
He just made a huge recovery
Yawn. What part of he didn't want to think about it anymore didn't you get?
Es gibt nichts wirksames außer einer Haar Transplantation. Micro needling, Finasterid und so weiter zögern den Haarausfall nur hinaus
I think he beat hair loss by shaving it all off, hair loss is a personal thing for some men it’s real tragedy and others don’t care
Buzzing it off is a great way to stop it defining you and having a crutch.
You look spot on 👌🏻
I’m not bothered by my bare crown, but keep a number 1 or 2 trim. Would love to try a full shave but wifie won’t let me! lol
Why won't your wife let you?
@@Baldcafe It makes you look older, had the same issue so I keep a low number despite my NW3, you can notice my bald crown but I still have some hair in the mid-front
Looking good!! 🔥🔥🔥
Be your own celebrity. Achieve borderline delusional levels of confidence and win. Anything else isn't worth it.
So you learnt you felt better with your original hair. So you won, so you got closer to being secure. So it was a good decision.
He looks amazing and handsome!
I decided to let it go. I shaved my head twice last year, and it was cool, but then I got dermathitis and let my hair grow again. My head is full of scales right now. Once my scalp becomes healthy, I will shave again.
Looks Perfect and much better with your shaved Head 🙃👍
I feel it dosent mean as much for the guys over 40. Like you had your days , some of us don’t make it to 30.
This is always an interesting debate. I saw a guy on the r/bald forum say it was more difficult at 40 because he had hair for all his life... do you agree?
After you have made it with hair into your 40s, you start thinking that you are safe. And suddenly, a "surprise".
@@BaldcafeI was 42 losing mine
It is horrible when you see balding... But guys you've to embrace it and either act quickly with a hair transplant or buzz it down.
Part about doing it because you can't stand the bald spot - good.
Part about doing it because you think other people are constantly fixated on your bald spot - not good. People will never pay as much attention to your appearance as you do
as the owner of your body. Other people often see your hair loss in a binary way: Either you've lost so much that your hair looks ridiculous, or they don't really notice the hair loss, they see you as a person with normal hair. I would probably fall into the second category, since I see that one of the most important parts of your hair appearance, the front lock, is pretty much there and looks strong.
front lock aint going nowhere
Legend
Well done , you look great
Good move, dude! Looking cool! 😎
To be fair,,he's looking good either way
Yooo shoutout to Oklahoma so am I
This guy looks to have a lot more hair than most balding guys featured on this channel
He doesn't look anywhere near the stage where he has to shave it on top of his head
encouraging guys to shave it off much too early is the negative downside of this channel
Dude I love my boyfriend with or without hair
I’ll be supporting no matter what
So what you're saying is you need other people to fill your lack of confidence?..Got it. By the way, my girlfriend is like model quality beautiful.
@@evanc5676 Yes because no man is an island and very few operate in a vacuum where intimacy with and validation from others (including the opposite sex) is something they can do without. But obviously you're a stoic ubermensch who doesn't need approval from others but nonetheless feels the need to tell a stranger on the internet that he has a model girlfriend, which I also don't believe.
@@dianavivi8 Are you the girl in the video? 1) I don't necessarily believe the hair loss won't affect your perception of him although I believe you think it won't. 2) Had you been introduced to him bald rather than with hair, you would likely, statistically speaking, not be interested in him.
I am 41 i still have my hair but is half grey so there you go
Well, at least you can dye it, no problem. I'm at the last era of my hair as the crown is starting to disappear! Yikes! Soon, I will be joining this group. But I was in the military, and I know how I look with no almost no hair (or how used to look with a buzz cut). That was a long time ago.
Harry, how did you make your mustache so thick? I remember you didn’t have them like this before. Do you still use a minoxidil?
No minox. I think it's honestly just age man. It continued to improve from age 27 right up to now I think.
@Baldcafe This beard style suits you very well. You look cool, bro!
not so bad starting point yet, but good end result too
You look fantastic
I wish I could do this but have a massive fut scar on back of my head. Double screwed now 🙄
How does it feel realizeing balding at 25 and thinning 😢
5:26 tbh it does sound like she is lying...
Dude , you had plenty of hair😂
What has your struggle been with the balding or bald?
It doesn't look irreversible and hopeless to me, but of course I don't know the whole story.
Vou fazer essa semana. Seja o que Deus quiser 🙏🏼
He wasn’t bad but I get it
I've been shaving my head for 18 years: best decision I ever made along with not smoking.
You look 100% better mate, get into shaving it with a razor, it's easy with practice.
Congratulations.
Anyway i always cut my hair short
I actually think he looked fine.
Does this suggest that the true issue with balding is the anxiety and not the physical appearance?
Blows my mind how men get so bothered by losing hair. I mean whats worse? Being short bad teeth? One eye? Im only adding context to this. Imagine how a woman would feel versus a man
Fiber would still be good for a while, but it becomes another constant worry before long as well, since he already has someone that makes it easier to go full shave..Whereas there's girls that outright reject a shaved head. It is easy to get used to, just that other people sometimes still don't is what I deal with
You feel "balder" hanging on to scraps than you do after you shave if off. That fact is a hard sell because it's counterintuitive.
You still have lots of hair. Get on finanastride like me and maybe a transplant in the crown in the future and
Don't fall for the just shave it bro Mentality, you still have lots of hair. Ps i had fut surgery and it turned out great minimal scar.
love this channel but some of these comments make me laugh! people saying shave it off and the problem is gone says who you? maybe we dont all wanna be bald! and shaving it all off dont get rid of the anxiety or the problem either and people are saying using fibres and wigs disguise the problem? what is shaving it off doing? its disguising the problem too by shaving it off so you dont notice you thinning, hair transplant solves and fixes the problem! shaving your head is not always the answer and it definitely dont solve any problem especially the mental side of things especially if your a person that wants hair and has always wanted hair then thats a problem! not everyone has to follow the trend and think shaving your hair is the only option and it fixes everything because that is rubbish!! some people rock a skin head and it really suits them but people saying its the only option and it makes everything go away is terrible advice! everyone is different!
So stupid, this guy has still enough hair , especially in front. Just use fibers behind
Using fibers is just another crutch and safety behavior at the end of the day though. Better to accept it, face the anxiety and be free from all of that. Nothing stupid about it.
It’s not even that bad bro.. I’d of ridden that out for a few more years
At this rate it's either all or nothing.
Here's a man with a gf who's happy with him but is caught up in the bro-cast manosphere :(
I said the same thing! If i were him i would have taken vitamin E and D3 to see if the problem is vitamin deficiency. He had great hair
@@Rob-z7kyou can’t be serious
Why are guys so against the Larry David? Larry is appreciative of the hair he has.
This guy overreacted! He still has plenty of hair, especially the most important area,
the frontal hairline! He should have investigated a hair transplant, first! But, the new
look doesn't look bad, on him!
taller guys can pull it off, shorter guys don't look as good bald
Not true, short-tall does not matter
just shave it bro
Should of just took fin + get a transplant. now he just looks like another bald npc
NPC?
You still have too much hair to be shaving it.
Can u shave 🪒 me bald 👨🏻🦲 to please ❤❤
That's ridiculous, he had a more or less great looking head of hair with balding at the crown, easily pulled it off and it looked decent, (grow it back as soon as you can) baldcafe has level 10 extreme horseshoe balding, he's trying to get everyone to shave their heads, why?
Listen to the first 20 seconds of this video 10 times. Understand that balding is about being anxious and insecure. Then recognise that shaving the head removes all of that hiding behavior which is how you overcome the problem of balding which is the anxiety.
Buy a hair system!!!
Didn’t see anyone crying. Why hate on him for handling his situation? What is it about his story that rubs you that way?
@@Baldcafethey're insecure Harry it makes them feel better to tear someone else down.

Like I said, him being all sensitive and soft about this topic.
