the only problem with kotcha were some timing issues and they repeated routines ;( but both were impressive
Ye also they planned for 2 minute rounds but they were 1 min 30 sec so they had to freestyle some bits
Also not a lot of dynamics variations

Ayy Cliff this is a dope battle, btw you reacted to Uniteam individually. The beatboxers are "Alem" and "Alexinho" and you saw them in the solo wildcard winners for GBB 2021. Both of them are world champions (there is only a total of 5 world champions as it's only held every 3-4 years, so they are two out of the 5 in one tag team). They decided to get back into battling last year as a tag team, and this year as you saw them in the 2021 wildcard winners video, they decided to enter Solo again which is why you see Alem saying "im back, im the father of the new school" and Alex "im the brother of the father of the new school". Uniteam clearly deserved the win and for a lot of people they won before the overtime. Alem and Alexinho are two of the goats of beatbox, Alem is the fastest ever and Alexinho is one of the best in battles and counters (he won against d-low, codfish, napom, pash, b-art...)
Yeah Kotcha is good don't get me wrong, but as a tag team, they are just not nearly as synced up as Uniteam.
I disagree Uniteam got first round but Kotcha got the second round. Not a clear win.

Uniteam won every single round. Flipping (countering in beatbox) is good when it's well executed and the rest of your round is solid as well, but Uniteam were cleaner, more in sync with each other, i'd say even more creative and had fresh new routines that weren't already used in battles. The only reason judges went for overtime is because of the crowd pressure (and maybe the backflip)
That's why jayton was mad at the others in the end, they wanted the overtime while it was a clear win for uniteam
@@TheVladacar ngl lie though, stealing the crowed is definitely a factor in battle beatboxing. Purely because of that aspect it wasn't rly a clear win. If D-low and Frosty didn't mess up the we got flow part they would've won for me...

Gotcha kinda fucked up the last routine "We Got Flow". It was well known before this battle and the timing was the center of it, but unfortunately they screwed the timing. Frosty even stopped beatboxing for a bit cause they know they fucked up

The “call back” reference is from Alexinho vs napom and also more recently from Alexinhos wildcard for 2021 GBB. Kotcha using it against Uniteam(Alex) is a solid call back front
It was a clear win of the uniteam kotcha had alot of beat problems and they did it pretty bad in the overtime but, from a really high level view uniteam won from the crown view is more divided the opinion mainly uniteam they did everything perfect

If you actually rewatch the overtime round from kotcha you’ll see that frosty lost the flow and puts the mic down, on a technical standpoint, they were messy because they weren’t prepared enough for the routine.
The judges have actually spoken about this with other beatboxxers and gave reasons why uniteam won.
Their overall fundamentals were stronger.
And dlow but he keeps going

Edit: Uniteam won this one as they were good over all whereas kotcha messed up in overtime. Dlow likes to counter a lot and thus Kotcha did some nice counters but technically uniteam was more in sync. Whereas Kotcha messed up their 'we got flow' routine in overtime.

They were both world champs and both won gbb 2021 wildcards (alem as 7th and alexinho as 2nd)
Since you're reacting to tag teams now I'd heavily recommend K-pom CNBC showcase and K-pom vs Bery 2018(I believe could be 2017). Another suggestion I have is Gbb top 10 drops tag team 2019, all three are amazing videos

The yodelling counter was cool but not that good, the second part of the counter had already been used by dlow in the competition, their ”we got flow” beat was pretty off. Uniteams final round before the yodelling was very tight and the yodelling was pretty creative from them.

It was a clear win for uniteam because they were really clean and original. Kotcha was dope but they made classic combos bass /beat. Overtime wasn't needed and kotcha failed "we got flow" unfortunately

Overall, Uniteam was more structured and they executed their beats better. Kotcha had really good counters and battle moves, but Uniteam on a technical level was better. Plus, in the overtime, Kotcha messed up their We Got Flow routine, which gave Uniteam the edge.
I think you should watch korcha showcase 2018 to see the round they messed up here 2018 kotcha was also solid
