Babaryba is one of the biggest scale model shows in Poland. It has participants from different countries, a lot of shops and club tables. Also this year was specific subject - Pacific War. So, there are more USA and Japanese ships as usual.

I found your videos, because I was looking for Babarybas' ones. I was there at Ursynow Arena, but I didn't watch every model, because there were more than 1200 of them (1500?). Now I can watch them closely. Ships are not my favorite category, but I'm amazed with high accuracy and some unbelievable scratch build! 😮

Thank you Majk, enjoy videos. Actually when I edit videos then I also have real chance to enjoy filmed models. When I film, I do not have that much time - have to concentrate on filming process. :D

Beautiful! Rigging them is the fun part.

@@Volsheb_Nik_Studio Aye, I build them for a living, 29 years now. Bending on the rigging is when a ship becomes a ship.

Thank you for listing paper ship names and manufacturer. I was able to buy some nice ones and have them shipped to North America, where they are rare!

Thank was a good time, isn''t it? :) I build some ships in my childhood too. But now, when I look on THESE models I feel like ... khm.. Maybe I should try again? Maybe not at the same level, but just take some simple model and build out of the box. What you think? Would you like to see that? :D

My grandfather liked building 15 century sail ships. He had a massive beautiful Spanish four mast what-ever-it’s call it ship. With brass cannons. It was over a meter long & high and about 30 cm wide. He had it sitting in his living room.

Wow! Sounds like it was huge sailing ship! How many ship models your grandfather had in total?

Welcome aboard! You are from Australia, right? How popular is scale modeling there? Do you have any competitions, clubs?

@@Volsheb_Nik_Studio Hi, yes AU here, previously I built 1/35 military but have changed to 1/350 warships. There are from what I know yearly competitions in Brisbane, Melbourne and Wollongong which is south of Sydney. 1/35 armour and 1/72 aircraft are very popular but I don’t think we have the quantity or size of hobby shops like there might be in Europe or the US. In Sydney there are very few hobby shops now, I personally order all of my kits and accessories (etch sets, wooden decks, etc) from a very large supplier in Melbourne, it’s overnight or 2nd day delivery to me in Sydney 👍 cheers.

@@petehoskins1267 Thanks for sharing! Good to know about scale modeling in AU. I also think about navy in 350 scale, or U-boats in 144. But those paper models in 1:100 and 1:200 is awesome too. Harde dilemma. I also like Shnellerboot in 1:72. :)

Спасибо за участие, прекрасные модели и комментарий :) Корабли - огонь! Особенно понравился Mecidiye. Впрочем и Аскольд шикарен. Разу вспомнил одного знакомого моряка с таким же именем. Надо будет написать ему :)

Same goes with rigged aviation. :) Ships of cause employs more complicated techniques. But I believe when you learn how to do it and practice then it goes much easier
