It would help if you would show us WHICH WAY YOU ORIENTED THE PART. instead of just saying "I put my decocker spring in, like so." Congrats, i see that.
As much as I appreciate the skill and confidence of the magician showing the trick, Im still wondering which way the sear is facing and will there be a rabbit popping out of the cage. Sigh
It's easy when you know how. And you're not nearly blind, fumble-thumbed and a dumbass. lol I did get mine together today in record time. Only took me an hour and a half, from stripping down the gun to getting it all back together again. Good thing I'm not a professional. :D Oh, and thanks so much! You guys rock!
I just did this on my 97BD (It's been awhile since I did a BD sear cage), it took me maybe 10 minutes after watching the video, however the decocker worked about 10x and the spring slipped off the lever arm. I swapped the spring with a new one I had in my parts bin, put it back together and it happened again on the 1st attempt to decock it. Any suggestions? I've done about a dozen BD's a few years back with no issues at all, and I watched this and several other videos before attempting this one since it's been awhile.
What the heck. Instead of trying to impress us with how fast and awesome you are, ZOOM IN and show the orientation of the parts.
I wish you would show the direction they go in you just grab and put in without orientation

LOL, also use a better camera, it's almost like they just want you to send it in
wish quality of video was better, and i wish you showed each piece to the camera instead of just saying what it is
