Thanks for loading, along with your other videos. It was also noticeable how rarely he encountered trouble in running, carefully picking his way through fields once the turbo had come on.
A sporting legend and hero.Watched him early in his career at the White city, not knowing I was witnessing future greatness, great times for my favourite sport.
i was lucky enough to see this dog race live unbelievable ability to read the race most exciting pace when required, to very often take himself fro.last to first.on the lsst bend sometimes.one of a kind
I can remember running 400 metres for the school when I was 13years old and I came second the teacher said you jogged three-quarters of that race when you could have won it well I said I have been watching this greyhound you see all I got was your not a f ing dog never mind won me next race didn't leave the sprint to late what a dog the champ was I will never forget that grand animal a pure one off God bless him
I think this Greyhound is deliberately letting the other dogs waste away in the first lap, only to suddenly accelerate 15 km/h faster than the other dogs, so that the second lap is no problem for him to win the race.
I remember Scurlogue Champ coming to Shawfield and they had to open the other side off the track to accommodate the crowd ,,I think the crowd was 3,500 might be wrong ,,but it was a great night and he didn't let us down ,Down his usual thing given lengths off a start, then turn on the turbo fantastic hound ,,had a mind off his own ,,PS does anybody else remember that night,, RIP
Such beautiful Hounds. Love seeing him free and looning about the paddocks. It is a scandal though for many hounds- they aren't cared for like they should be when they can no longer race. The shipping of Hounds to Spain is truly horrible.
I DID HAVE THE PROGRAMME FOR THAT NIGHT ,BUT SOME HOW MA WIFE DECIDED TOO GET RID OFF ALL MY PROGRAMS ,,SO CANT TELL U THE DOGS THAT RAN THAT AGAINST HIM SRRY

I saw him many times and he never disappointed. He'd double the crowd when he was running.
Four legs of pure speed.
Wow how many races he wins🤔🤔🤔🤔
