For those wondering about "fogginess". It occurs due to how RUclips tone-maps HDR video for SDR display (I also have HDR display but can't test for a moment a playback on it). I checked the fact of YT tone-map issue by downloading this video and playing it with madvr (that gives you a better tone-mapping for HDR if you have SDR display or HDR with lesser "nits") - the result was much close to how game looks in SDR on SDR display and without any "fogginess".
As much as I'll love to play this on PS5 I'll hate to play it for long periods since Genshin has that ridiculous UI with those static white icons. I have an OLED tv and I'll be scared of burn in if I play Genshin for long time daily. If they could only make those icons have transparency it'll help a lot
I agree. I have an LG C1 and I play genshin for a long time on it everyday. As of now it has severe UI burn in of the health bar, and all the other icons that it has.
@@iamkazuha I have an LG c2. Even tho they say burn in shouldn't be a concern, it's still very annoying seeing those super bright white icons. What a beautiful tv and beautiful world of Genshin that it's a bummer that it's ruined by those icons and UID. What infuriates me more is the fact the UID appears even when it's a pitch black screen. It just never goes away. The icons also don't make sense having then displayed while playing on a PS5 because those icons show up when you press a button on the controller. So what's the point of having them displayed on screen? It's so stupid
@@xBboyRewindx I agree. Every time i open the map I can see the outline of the health bar and a dark dot where the mini map's blue pointer would be. The UID is so burnt in on mine you can make it out on the PS5's menu. Also when opening the events tab I can see the outline of the catalyst icon and the elemental skill, run and gadget buttons. All of those are permanently burnt into the TV. It creates such beautiful picture quality but unfortunately burn in has set in. The C1 has ran it's pixel cleaning or pixel refresh cycle and the burn in is still there.
@@BlazzinY.T I'm honestly thinking of buying a PS5 for that reason. But I'm afraid getting a PC will out do genshin in like a year time in performance what do you think?
@@Ayanokoji1 that is actually a good question, okay as for PC as long as u have like an actuall good gaming pc you will be good 100% but then again you can always upgrade your pc parts as well, but the downside of the is it gets more and more expensive so in my personal opinion i'd go for the PS5 only cuz its cheaper and you wont have to worry about games out doing the PS5 for at least like 6-7 years loll maybe more

I honestly want a PS5 for the loading time between checkpoints because it kills me on PS4 then again if PS5 is just gonna be a ps4 in a 2 year time I'd be hella screwed. Although like you said a PC is also an expensive option but i don't know what to get at this point, i just don't feel getting a PC is worth it if genshin runs like flash on PS5 (for now)

i honestly belive its the hdr bc when its off its not foggy as you can see on my other genshin videos and when hdr is off i also lose alot of vivid colors

My display has hdr10+ capability and it's still foggy and grayish

Have you ever experienced “foggy” recordings on Genshin? Because for whatever reason my recordings are rather foggy even when I turn off HDR
