What happened to my 19 minute Wii OST upload? 😢
Can confirm, was the 60 card Paleo player. Only reason I didn't top was unfortunate time stuff. This guy is the only player who actually straight up beat me, couldn't out End of Anubis, he ripped Daruma Cannon out of my hand in the EP. Cool to see that he ended up top 4.
It's unfortunate that you lose to time when most of the time it's your opponent who's playing and thinking for an out

adding melodious is higher ceiling vs a cut in consistency. ofc opening ostinato is amazing. but having couplet in your grip is a big feels bad moment.
considering the normal ceiling of this deck is usually enough cause you have the correct floodgate for pretty much every matchup its probably better to
have more non engine to have a chance going second is my conclusion after testing both variants quite a bit.

The best part is if you open a beformet and patchwork chain, as long as you have a poly or chimera fusion. Helps since Chimera lacks a way out with their current fusion pool if you open only 2 fiends and a poly.

today i found out about chimera runick
My Tri-Brig endboard: Elf+Shuraig, 2 filtered cards from Ferrijit + Bearbrumm, 2 cards in hand + up to 2 searches during opponents' turn.
This deck's endboard: 4 guys on board, 3 set cards, 3 pieces of interaction from gy and 8 cards in hand lol

It makes sense, but it’s also funny how everyone calls decks bad until someone proves them otherwise. I guess it hints at the lack of creativity and deck building skills from most “copy paste deck” players.
Honestly I just call Traptrix and Chimera bad because they are really annoying for me to play against even though I know they’re good
When considering the last link2 and playing phoenix, why not playing cross-sheep? He is a generic link2 beast, has a reborn effect if you fusion summon under him and can even make your chaos angel 4.2k atk, basically walking over the voiceless boss monster.
I play this deck because I can run Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon(one of my fav monsters) even tho im a noob :)
Same. I learned the deck for Dragoon and ripping cards out of the opponents hand before they even get to play.

Chimera is a super fun deck to play. I like to play it in MD when I get sick of playing Snake Eye. The only thing that kind of sucks is that Nightmare Apprentice is now stupid expensive because of Yubel (and other loud mouths online that are driving up the price)
