For anyone that doesn’t get the “everyone get in here”, It’s basically a quote of a card called grim patron in hearthstone (world of war craft card game) that multiples itself until your opponent would die or give up lol
Oh man. It was a 3/3 that summoned another grim patron whenever it survived damage, and warrior had all these cheap cards that hurt your guys and did something aggressive, and a few cheap guys that were balanced around getting triggered like twice in the early game and getting run over that were going off over and over, so all of a sudden there was this cheap aggro deck that killed you if it stuck a guy into the midgame and had a combo of some kind ready if it didn't (a combo that involved listening to the Grim Patron say "Everyone, get IN here!" a half dozen times as you flood your board)...

This is so cool and what I really love about yugioh. Finding those weird funny old cards to work in new decks. Obviously sometimes it becomes a little too good like with Vanity's or Appointer but most of the time its just cool tech options.

one little sidenote on fiend comidian. the card sound good but got huge flaw. it can be ashed. not even that the ash stopps it it aswell blocks paleospawns with a ash. happen to me in MD 5x after each other so i kicked it out
Sadly they really dont walk together. Mill yourself and banish your opponents stuff as well as one beeing only focused around traps while the other is focused on quick-plays

@@DecadeMinato 1 extra Deck space is already tight. Since almost all pieces are Paleo Synergy, or boardwipes, neither which runick Providers, what do you put out for hugin? Or do you cut her out? With the shown deck-profile you could squeze one in for S:P, although you would put another Zeus or Anolmacris there.
@@DecadeMinato you need your battlephase for Zeus, which is one of the most importand cards to easily boardwipe. Also every time you draw a single runick spell your pretty out of luck, because going for hugin into fountain just lets you go -2 and a singular disruption you cant reuse with rollback or otherwise synergyses with the Deck is really Bad, you only take Icedragons in some matchups and its a 2 for 1. If you dont have fountain every milled runick is a Miss, and the core deck already has a bit of a problem with missing Mills. Also even if you mill runick spells but cant trigger your fountain even having it doesnt Work that well. It basically needs setup you dont buy. Its morganite with extra steps but less Payoff. Morganite gives you two draws every turn but you have to go -1 turn one. Runick might give you +2 but you have to work with mostly runick, your paleos will not really do much in that setup and basically half your deck is next to useless.
my friend has been crazy about this deck for a while and i love seeing it around. i think it’s crazy they gave this deck support with Magicolloidal Sol
Next step on the evolution of this deck maybe is the Tear mermaids, the mill effects are nice, and since this deck doesn't use a field spell they are searchable.
I combined this deck with Horus engine waw really good at giving you attack power to Lethal your opponent. Also, Hapy helps in recycling banished cards not to mention the other useful effects of the other Horus monsters
ive been playing simul archfeinds and its basically extra copys of d barrier but is great vs tenpai because it locks them out of doing the link combo they do if they cant syncro, and also has good aplication vs snake eye branded and other decks that generally only use 1 type of extra deck summoning
Man, this deck is so cool. I'm only basing this on the stream matches, but I wasn't really feeling the draw spells surprisingly, but I did like the draw traps, especially because of rollback. Traptantalizing seemed alright because its effects give it a lot of utility, but it also seemed like it could get stuck in hand in later turns when your hand disappears. I do feel like I prefer Morganite over it because of that, but I'm really just going off the cuff. I suppose one of the counter arguments is that after activating one Morganite, the other two become dead draws. But in general, I just liked the draw traps more, even Accumulated Fortune. EDIT: Oh yeah, I guess also Morganite can't be Ashed, unlike Traptantalizing.
I mean yeah without rollback this deck is infinitely slower to the point of not being playable, but alongside rollback the paleos really pull their weight
This deck is very intresting, but it have the same problem as Sky Striker that it doesn't have any protection against background wiping like Lightning Storm, Harpie's Feather Duster and Evenly Match, while Labrynth circunvents that by eather wiping the opponent's hand before they can play or just wait for the opponent to stablish a board so they can't use some of those cards, while Paleo's set 5 and pass strategy just beg to be wiped by those tech cards.
1. Coming back from big card disadvantages is what cards like Balance Of Judgement/Hope For Escape are for. 2. A lot of trap cards are chainable which reduces the effectiveness of mass backrow removal (although getting HFD'ed/Lightning Storm'ed still hurts). 3. Rollback is a VERY effective way for trap decks to play around mass backrow removal. 4. Back Jack, see point number 3. The comparison to Sky Striker is extremely flawed because for one those are spells, but also they set mainly reactive cards while Paleozoic plays a fair bit of proactive ones. And yes, Labrynth is a bit better against mass backrow removal, but it also heavily relies on monster cards, which is a problem in the current meta.

I tried this deck at nationals yesterdya (kudos to my friend for lending me his rollbacks) and it's pretty fun to play, only issue was going into time each round and ending on a draw when siding out rollbacks, do you think apart from scattershots you could suggest more time specific cards? I went win, win, draw, draw, loss (lol munin heal), draw
I wish they just gave this deck a bunch of hand traps that soft opt copy some hand traps, and then gave bonus effects if you control other paleos, and it’s 2024, make the GV effects IFs, just keep the logic the same otherwise, I think ask or droll effects may be way too strong, but we can have an imperm effect, ghost ogre, skull meister, D.D crow, the D.D crow should be called by if you control another paleo, give the the deck the ability to got second and some flexibility, and besides imperm no one plays those cards, they’re not that crazy, more potential copies of them existing wouldn’t make a difference, except imperm, but we should have another imperm like card soon cmon, veiler isn’t enough and 3 imperm isn’t either, 6 though, might make going second alright. They should also give some cards for consistency that do what other cards that are played do, waboku, trap trick, needle bugs nest, and they should all be hand traps too, maybe not fully generic, like require a face up paleo, or a set card, with all that I can see traps being tier 1. Finally give them another extra deck XYZ, it should be able to setup OTKs, and cheat making the 3 mat with just 2. Maybe even give them something insane, like mill any monster from deck or extra to GV, or a shifter like card that doesn’t affect traps, oof lol.
I still think running at least one copy of merli is worth it to summon it off gigantic and it being able to mill 3 to the grave. Not the most insane card but could be nice.
I've seen this on master duel a couple times already. It's actually pretty annoying to play against. It was diamond and I was on Chimera, the first one lasted forever and I ran out of gas.
You gotta love the variety in languages in your cards. Dumb question.. can you play anything but english cards in formats over regional? I mean you can tell your opponent what it does.. cause before you showed everyone what soldier dragon does? Nobody knew the card existed. Now pretty much everybody knows I guess but playing 3 copies of "Drachensoldaten" has to throw off your Italian opponent at least a little lol
Thank you for this video I am a budget player due to being on disability checks but play at a local full of what I call mercenary players or players who are on teams with some who have unlimited budgets at their disposal and honestly I am getting frustrated with these guys playing max rarity snake eye or max rarity tempai and I think snake eye to me is like watching paint dry with other random decks I am on shaddoll invoked not because I want to but because my options are limited I play what I have and use reprints to get more expensive cards for example thrust when I get lucky
It can be rough being a rogue player even when it's just because of budget. Realistically at a disadvantage but if there is a way I believe you can find it. I dont mind the deck building challenge, but just taking consistent Ls isnt fun so just test a lot

For GY based trap deck, what are your thoughts on Fiend Comedian as like a side deck. Flip a coin either banish your opponent's GY or mill cards equal to the opponent's GY. I feel like both scenarios are good enough to possibly replace needle bug nest, but not sure.

It's less consistant, and even once your opponent gets to the point where it's good, there's often one result that helps and one which is mediocre at best. That's not to say it's a bad card, Josh has considered it and iirc played it at least once (I believe that's how he came to the conclusion that there are a fair amount of times where the coin flip matters significantly), but it doesn't work as nicely as it might seem it should. It is a powerful card in exchange for that, hence worth considering, but it isn't an auto-include.
I think we could also add arias right? I'm running TrapTear in MD and a lot of times arias start my plays going 1st or 2nd or even turn 0. Needlebug,marella, dinomischus on turn 0 has help my deck to reach diamond. Yeah I'm only at diamond but I'm not grinding hard in MD. I just log in to do daily missions and win a couple of duel then I'm done for the day. 😊
josh can you try to break eldlich as well? I feel like it will get support soon since they getting something like structure deck but without new cards in it. so konami will most likely make support or something that will work well with it to sell the product better
Hesr me out, could we use the dragon solider tech in any form of runick? Create lvl 2 bodies and mill so we could get a draw 3 from fountain? But would it be like palieozoic runick?
I'm testing 3 holeatea and a myrmello over 3 traptunes. Commitment for the extra is as in as you want to be. You have to play 1 sera. If you want you can play a redoer too. Also gives you access to dweller. Generates as much advantage as tune and lets you make opabinia on turn 1. Less weak to ash
It's a little magical christmas land. You have to open holetea, a paleo, and a level 2 normal summon. Holetea since you're discarding a paleo for cost you can trigger it immediately. It doesn't happen all the time, but it's cool when it happens. If you don't open the lvl 2 normal summon, you can make sera on turn 1 and likely protect it. Which is fine And gets you to more holetea
Rollback copy any virus card, it's not good? For example, use Deck Devastation Vírus against Snake-Eye decks to Destroy all Hand traps and LV 1 Monsters.
If this deck could go second reliably it would be great, going first is okay, still not too good though, the deck just hugely lacks consistency unfortunately generally you can draw well enough to win going first, but winning going second is pretty hard, lab is a better deck by far, but it also looses to a lot that deck just doesn’t encounter because who tf is prepared for Paleo lmao.

In this case, it's all old cards with the exception of Transaction Rollback. Rollback really broke this deck wide open.

Balance of Judgement is a good IRL alternative to using the Slifer Trap Package which is a lot easier to combo with in MD

I think we could also add arias right? I'm running TrapTear in MD and a lot of times arias start my plays going 1st or 2nd or even turn 0. Needlebug,marella, dinomischus on turn 0 has help my deck to reach diamond. Yeah I'm only at diamond but I'm not grinding hard in MD. I just log in to do daily missions and win a couple of duel then I'm done for the day. 😊
How does side decking even look for this deck? I would really love to see remote duels with you playing paleo 😊
josh can you try to break eldlich as well? I feel like it will get support soon since they getting something like structure deck but without new cards in it. so konami will most likely make support or something that will work well with it to sell the product better

I'm testing 3 holeatea and a myrmello over 3 traptunes. Commitment for the extra is as in as you want to be. You have to play 1 sera. If you want you can play a redoer too. Also gives you access to dweller. Generates as much advantage as tune and lets you make opabinia on turn 1. Less weak to ash
What’s that turn one opabina line?
It's a little magical christmas land. You have to open holetea, a paleo, and a level 2 normal summon. Holetea since you're discarding a paleo for cost you can trigger it immediately. It doesn't happen all the time, but it's cool when it happens. If you don't open the lvl 2 normal summon, you can make sera on turn 1 and likely protect it. Which is fine And gets you to more holetea

Probably meant Myrmeleo for MST on legs. Or you can Normal summon it to search the Holeutea. Huh, sounds like a great mini engine honestly

Rollback copy any virus card, it's not good? For example, use Deck Devastation Vírus against Snake-Eye decks to Destroy all Hand traps and LV 1 Monsters.

If this deck could go second reliably it would be great, going first is okay, still not too good though, the deck just hugely lacks consistency unfortunately generally you can draw well enough to win going first, but winning going second is pretty hard, lab is a better deck by far, but it also looses to a lot that deck just doesn’t encounter because who tf is prepared for Paleo lmao.
