I miss strolling at night at Jl Goutama, one of the most aesthetic street in Ubud. I had dinner soto ayam in Healthy Warung. This little resto where I've been to when I already miss Indonesia cuisine 😊 in Ubud, 'coz in Ubud it's little difficult to find affordable Indonesia cuisine.
I hate to post negative comments but Im glad I dont live in Indonesia anymore. So they build a decent footpath, nowhere near wide enough though, but then proceed to allow hawkers to take it over so people still have to walk in the puddles and mud to get around. This is so typical Indonesia, what really happened was, the money was allocated for the wide path, half got siphoned off in corruption so hence the new slim line path. Then the hawkers enroached and pay the cops a few bucks to keep them off their backs about it. And of course the pedestrian safety zone on the side of the road is used for motorbike parking. Nothings advanced there since the 70s.
Krisna.....Hello. I think they made a mistake with the design of Betelnut.......Its a very nice place to sit and the food was VERY NICE when I used to go there. But as people walk or ride past at night it looks empty and dark , so most people dont even know its a Resto/ Cafe, there is also a Bar/ Nightclub at the back.....hidden and vey dark... Its just confusing and I am suprised it is still open for business. 😮🕊🙏💙🙏

Kali terakhir saya ke Ubud sekitar tahun 2002-4 ga kayak gitu. Masih sepi dan ga banyak toko maupun resto. Jadi kaget lihatnya. 😮

UBUD is Fantastic , KUTA is finished it has a very bad reputation now and people stay away from it
