Great video. I love the speaker. The cards are cool, but as soon as you use any of the tools, they're no longer cards, just loose tools. Have a great weekend, Josh.
Yeah they’re definitely emergency use only with the card style which is a bit unfortunate. Love the idea for an emergency kit though, backup hooks and needles in a backcountry emergency and stored in a way that won’t poke or damage your other gear.
@@joshfenn Good point. Yeah, in an emergency, makes total sense. You have the intact card and who cares if you have to break it apart if it's really necessary?
@@joshfenn Well the cheaper Met Mo Pocket Black(128.10) + the Pocket Driver Pack(50.46) would be love for the handy dad. Not to mention the convience of it.
USB-C would be a great addition, AAA battery is probably better than micro usb at least, I’ve still got a few legacy micro usb items and they drive me nuts haha
I cannot explain how much i would recommend against the titainer ratchet thing.... i was stupid enough to buy it, pretty much knowing it would be useless... low and behold £80 later, it is completely useless. Buy a knipex ...or just anything else instead. Even the build quality was disappointing!
I didn’t really have an issue with the build quality, but the size and price were both a bit disappointing. They should make one that’s 2x size with the same toolset, would probably be ideal
@@joshfenn for the money I expected it to feel completely solid and smooth to use, which mine was not. Yeah, if it was bigger it would be more useful but still overpriced. Thanks for showing some more unusual gear though, and I do like the look of the bit driver, unfortunately I spent the money on the titainer that I should have spent on that!
Haha I’ve got a pretty wide range for taste, but rap and hip hop tend to be the most ideal for showing off bass capability. Limited options for songs I’m allowed with copyright too, always a challenge finding the right song for these speaker sample segments.
@@joshfenn big fan of your work, the content, crisp and on point commentary, beautiful camera work and a perfect selection of gadgets makes your channel a cut above. Every meal I'm watching a Josh Fenn vid, crying that I couldn't get my hands on these amazing gadgets.
The price is definitely tough. They have a couple of variants that are a bit less expensive but not a huge discount or anything. Built extremely well though for anyone that can swing it, it’ll probably outlive all of us haha.
@@joshfenn Speaking of cars, that would be a great video for you: EDC car kit. Tools, neon vest, flashlights, jump starter, road hazard flashers, multitool, tire inflater, charging brick, first aid, etc.
Been wanting to do this one for a few years! My car is old and I spend quite a bit of time out in the backcountry, always good to have a solid emergency kit around if you get stranded.
That pocket driver is definitely getting added to one of my lists for any excuses I can think of.😮😄
It’s been so great!
12.000 lumens.....😮
It’s way too much for indoor use haha
@joshfenn are we into firestrter territory?! 😂
Haha absolutely. Luckily it has a locking feature - this could definitely burn a hole in a pocket or bag
And a Retina.
Great start to a Friday evening, always a joy to see a new Josh Fenn video!
So happy to hear it, thanks for the support!

that pocket driver looks amazing actually
Probably over engineered and overkill for most of us, but in the best way. I’ve been loving it, going to try out their grip tool soon I think too

Been waiting years for one of those breathalyzers in USB C. They still sell models with micro USB.

Great stuff! Always a fan of your videos.
Thanks so much for the support!
Does nitecore carbo 6k fit to alpaka pouch pro?
Don’t have the pouch to confirm but checking the dimensions it should fit fine (3.5” vs 5.5”)
@@joshfenn planning to buy one ... but waiting to your video and recommendation ...

I have SO many anker products and am really happy with all of them, that new speaker looks and sounds good, though we have different music taste!

Definitely some cool stuff there
Thanks! Always have a good time finding stuff for this series
watching this video from India, i wish i could get my hands on these great EDC gadgets haha.
Always a bummer to hear this, hopefully more and more companies will open up international shipping in time. Appreciate you watching though!
