If there is one thing I have learned from playing every iteration of the Forza main and Horizon franchise. Some people are ENTIRELY to talented with those livery editors.
I just bought my race wheel after waiting a year and was told my job which has been a family owned business since 1962 is being sold outside of the family. I have 3 weeks of work left before lay off. I’m gonna take some time off and race like I have no worries in the world. Hope to see y’all on a track
I love Wreckfest on ps5, I never played it on PS4 and damn I’m having lots of fun with it, let’s hope they keep updating it and give us more events and stuff and keep it going for a while!

I forgot about the Hot Wheels game. I'll need to keep an eye out. It looks cool. The new Forza game looks incredible and is making me regret ignoring that franchise for so long.
I played the first Forza Horizon on the 360 and really enjoyed the arcade-y, yet not so far as NFS arcade aspects of it, which I also love that series. I also have slept on every other game in the series since I went with a ps4, I kept eyeing Horizon 4 on steam sales lately, but I'm waiting for 5 at this point.
The car mechanic simulator seems like a cool game depending on how immersed you can get into fixing the cars. Like taking an engine apart and checking every little thing like valve springs and lifters etc. And if you have to use correct torque specs when screwing bolts.
@@HarryKaneIsGoated yeah, I tried that game, it's good.. but doesn't have the glory of the PS2/Xbox era Burnouts.. fortunatly there is Burnout Revenge.. it's the second best Burnout game for me, but I still miss 3.. the simple races and the high level of destruction and that 2000's era songs that composes the right atmosphere. Many consider Burnout 3 to be the best racing game ever. Paradise's open world along with the removal of some classic gameplay like the Crash events sacrifices too much of the feel and pace of the ones before.

Also these titles have split screen which is a hell lot of fun. The thing I don't like about paradise is , it becomes too easy once you know the city. Also no crashbreakers and aftertouch! ( also crash junctions )
No mention of carx streets which is coming out to pc later this year, and console some time next year. Set to be an open world of drifting and racing, not much has been shown or told about the game, but if it builds on what carx drift racing offers. It will be worth a buy. That said I would recommend carx drift racing to those that like drift, it would also give you an idea of what to expect for carx street.
Riders republic looks great. Offering something different than the typical car/motorbike racing games. Can't wait to get my hands on it. HOPEFULLY IT DOESN'T FLOP

I wish we could get another Split/Second. That game had some really intense racing with awesome car destruction. Not quite BeamNG level of destruction of course but for a 2010 game pretty nice.

Definitely keeping an eye on NASCAR 21, it needed a different team behind it. FH4 was really great, I can't wait to play 5. I wish we knew more about the next Dirt Rally or Need For Speed.

The Hot Wheels game looks very fun for kids to be honest. I was always intrigued by the Hot Wheels tracks as a kid and having a good looking video game being able to build the wackiest tracks I could imagine would be so cool. However, my interests seem to have shifted a bit over the years 😂
I wish. The situation with Blur in part felt akin to what happened to TitanFall 2. Released in a window with so many other games in the same genre and other big names that if this wasn't on your radar you would've missed it. :/ GT5 delayed from summer to that fall iirc.
I wish news outlets had let me know that Codemasters' Dirt 5 lacked something as basic as REPLAYS. If that was mentioned in the reviews, I would have passed on it. A shame a modern Codemasters game lacks something that essential to racing.
The Hot Wheels one looks real fun. Sadly I don't buy Racing games, too much MultiPlayer stuff, but that's what currently makes them popular, so I just stay away from them.
And also forza horizon games have always been a go to for me as a car guy the customization of the cars and how you tune them makes it one of my favorites. Took a mini in forza horizon 4 and turned it into a drift missile and then also took a Chevy Nova and turned it into a a car that could turn record laps

I want some one to make a really realistic off-road game based in Australia, kinda like snow runner but not have to do jobs, more like you get land cruisers or whatever and go off-roading with friends, and you can buy property and if you drive in the same spot it makes it own track, and get like normal road cars and make them paddock bombs. The list goes on, it would just be really cool. Like if the team from snow runner could make it

This year has been focused on cars. For example, GTAs car meet, Horizon 5, and a lot of more car games coming out.
