Just put these and love them! But the go rhino logo on rear of each is killing me! Maybe I’ll paint them. However, based on the comments it’s sounds you and I put our brackets on facing the wrong way lol. Well there is no way in hell I’m switching them.
I put the exact same ones on my Tundra last week. Directions are garbage from go rhino. Double cab instructions when I have a crewmax. Instructions shows lock washers and more hardware then I actually got. I didn’t install them that day because I thought I had the wrong ones. Come to find out they updated the hardware and didn’t say anything about it. Finally got them on and I like them. They stick out far enough to protect against door dings.
Just got my running boards and hardware too and thought the same thing! Do we not need lock washers when using the black coated bolts and flat washers?
I have the same GoRhino boards I put on my 2020 Tundra. I have had them for about 8 months love them much better in the winter as far as slippage goes.
Looks solid! You want it to stick out a little to so when you park in spaces at the mall other car doors might hit your running board instead of hitting your door. Plus it looks a lot more sturdy and safe. Great install, Thanks.
I put the RB 10 on my truck. Basically the same installation. Great product. Make sure your wife doesn’t slide out of the seat and drag the back of he shoe heel (or Achilles heel) down the edge of the board. My wife ruined a couple pair of shoes doing that. The rhino liner scraped the finish right off.
Sucks that the Bed liner finish is only on the top of the boards. Doing any off road will sand blast the crap of the bottoms and rust will start for me on the salty roads.
Just bought a set for my Tocoma l have seen some people turn them wide side in the back and narrow side in front to give the truck more of a prerunner look have you tried flipping them nice review
Very nice video! Could you tell me what kind of tires you have? I like the aggressive look! I have a 2008 2Wheel Dr. with a 3 inch leveling kit in the front so I’m trying to get some tires and go with largest I can fit
Do what I did have them shipped to my work address and install at work and if she notices act dumb!! What are you talking about sweetheart "those have always been there" throw a little dirt on them.
Great video Austin Believe it or not I have the exact same N-fab running boards on my 2022 Tundra and I like them ok but they just come down too far and I don't like the look. The crazy thing is, I too ordered the RB20 slimline before i saw your video. They will be here next week so your info was timely and I sure do appreciate it. Looks sharp!!
I like them a lot I ended up installing go rhino D6 on my Tundra and they are great so far. Unrelated to your video but what mats are those in the back under the oem that provide that much coverage?
I've got the textured Nfabs, while I do consider the steps small (I wear a size 13 boot), I've never had an issue slipping off. About 8 years, and they still look like new.
Hey brother. I have the same go rhino RB20 running boards. I love them. My wife and friends like them a lot more. Easier to step up when getting into the truck. Great choice 👍🏼
@@kccreations5945 At first I had my reservations but after a few weeks I really fell in love with them. Great design and great upgrade 👍🏼 Keep up the great videos
Thanks for this review and info. I too had been looking at the N-Fab offerings, but these Rhino's are the running boards I decided to go with for my 2021 RAM 2500. I am also a big dude and think these will do just fine. I also like, and didn't realize until your video, that they will offer a little door ding protection. Much appreciated!
Hey Austin! Henry here from Southern California ......I just bumped up my 2021 tundra with a 3 inch lift to a 6 inch lift MAXTRAC and extremely Happy 😊 ......Im thinking about changing my side steps to a Rhino RB20's .....are you happy with your RB20's ? Hope you and family are well
Hey Henry! I love them! They are a little high with my tires and lift so be ready to hike up your leg a bit to get it. But the clearance is nice and they don’t slip when they are wet so definitely worth the textured upgrade! Hope you enjoy!
It would have been a much better design had they welded the steps to the mounts. They could have attached the mounts to the back of the step and eliminated the low hanging portion of the mount which could potentially catch on a obstacle. Additionally, it would have also removed several steps from the installation process.
Not practical when replacing the boards, if you need a warranty replacement you take off the board and put a new one on. No need to replace brackets, plus you can swap any of the RB series boards if you'd like and they fit the same bracket.
Those look so sweet man, I wanted to get this originally but i found someone with a platinum who was selling their OEM running boards is got for a smoking deal. But in the near future, I might swap over to these. Remind me so much of the steps that come on the raptors. Best looking running boards on the market imo
I saw a different video where that person said to install the flange of the mounting brackets to face the rear of the truck is this true or how you orientated the flange forward correct?
Hi, just wondering how you like the new running boards. The OEM RBs on my ‘17 Tundra peeled apart and I like the looks of these, esp the non slip surface. Thanks!
Hey man I’m loving them! They are a bit taller so that took some getting used too but they are great non-slick boards and look great to me! They have also deflected a ton of gravel from the body so that’s a huge benefit! Thanks for watching!
@@kccreations5945 I looked these up on Amazon and they say it doesn't my '17 Tundra double cab? I went to GoRhino's site and they say it does. Did you pay $600+?
Great review/video; I just installed some on my Silverado; as I’m in the midwest, I sprung for the lined version like you and I was a little disappointed they weren’t lined on the bottom for weather/rust protection but we’ll see how they do. Also appreciate you mentioning the flared design in the front which reduces slightly as it works to the rear.
Hey Austin, thanks for making this video. I still haven’t put running boards on my ‘21 Tundra and was debating between both of these sets. I’m leaning toward the Rhinos, especially after your video. My only concern with the Rhinos is bed access. I like the idea of better access with 3 step N-Fabs. What is your experience with this? Thanks again!
I felt that way too in the beginning but honestly I wasn’t able to use the third step very well since it’s so small. I installed a step under the bumper (check out my video) and just use that to hop into the bed! Hope that helps!
Great review man. This video just made the decision for me for the very reasons you mentioned. They look great on the truck and I like how they will help prevent rock chips and door dings.
@@kccreations5945 awesome thanks. Love how your truck is looking. I got the same one last week. Ordered the steps and only the steps just showed up. Called company and they are sending rest of the kit.

That’s so good to hear! I hated falling off of mine it hurt so bad lol
Did you go for the liner finish? or the plain? My concern is slippage on the plain vs dirtyness on the liner finish. Any comments?

I’m currently installing these on an f250 and the adjustment process is so frustrating but they look very good.
I've got bronze fuel wheels on my sky silver tundra, love the look
Thanks so much! Me too!
KC, thanks for the video man! I just got myself some RB20's for my F150. Excited to throw them on.
They are great running boards. I hope you enjoy them!
Nice job. I went with RB10”s Because I like the uniformity all the way down the truck and the lock.

Hey nice truck. Can you tell me what size lift you have and tire size you have.
I just ordered a set for my Tundra. I crushed my shin with wet shoes from wet grass on my NFab Predator bars. Predators just weren’t cutting it.
That’s exactly what happened to me and why I made the switch!
Wish there were options like that for my 07 Ranger.
They look great. Now how do I buy them, sneak them on the truck without the wifey noticing? Do you have a video for that?

Haha thanks man! I’ve been eyeing some carhartt seat covers! But they are $$$$!
Very good video. The camera work was great also.
Is the Go Rhino brand plate glued or riveted on the side of the running board? I guess the real question is, "Can it be taken off easily?"
I think it’s riveted on! But I’ve seen people take them off!
