- This is the story about the Brampton Boomer Bandits and their successfully failed electronics heist of 2019. The group robbed a delivery truck and made off with millions of dollars worth of phones and tablets, but their road to riches was blocked by modern technology.

Can’t do this in America alot of the truck drivers strapped up, I met a trucker that had an AR 15 and a side arm at the shop.
Gun control effects innocent folks the most. Criminals can do armed robbery knowing the victims won't be strapped. I hate policies like this.
I met that guy, Cecil Young at Shoppers World one day. He came to ask for free fries during my closing shift at New York Fries in 2016. He was rude asf and twisted up his mouth when I gave him a small sample smh. Hope they stay locked up for a while. Can't believe this happened so close to home frfr

Small immigrant grocery stores love to buy stolen produce/yogurt/paper towel loads as no one would expect stolen goods to be sold there. Only way we ever knew was wondering why the satellite trailer tracking was showing a different location than where the trailer was supposed to be. Also, very quick to unload at food terminals early in the morning selling to restaurants and others. Other common loads that are targeted are tires and razor blades. Very easy to move quickly. It truly is very common in the industry unfortunately.
I did a lot of trucking in and around Toronto in the last 10 years, and cargo theft is out of hand. I have had people try to get in my trailers in the middle of the day, in broad daylight at truck stops (Dixie road Husky area). I never had anyone successfully get in or steal anything because I would back into the car wash at the back of the lot to keep my rear doors from being open.
That Husky is the worst one around.
@@a1driver982 I am from Nova Scotia and always parked there because a lot of my loads came out of that area (ERB then the food terminal). I caught on quick that there is some shady shit going on around there so if I couldn't back into the truck wash building I would go to the Petro Pass with the Tim Hortons on Dixie which seemed a little less shady. I had a dude try to get in my trailer when I was stopped at a red light on Dixie. I loved Ontario and hauling back and forth to Toronto each week but I don't miss the shenanigans of that area.
@@jonnymac8925 I fuel at that Petro-Pass alot so I know what you mean. If not that one, there's the Flying J on Britannia, which is a straight run to ERB, or worst case, the Petro-Pass on Dixie Rd up by the 407. I've even parked at the Ultramar down the street from the Husky on Shawson and never had an issue but that Husky is definitely not good. Based out of NS, I'm guessing you run for Connors or Eassons? I can't think of any others off the top of my head but I know there's many of them.
@@a1driver982 I was just about to say that, I had an Ultramar card too and fueled up down there on Shawson at the intersection and sometimes if things were wild up the road I would camp out there. I forgot all about the Flying J up Brittania. Its been about 3-4 years since I hauled freight in that area. I used to love it but I kept my head on a swivvel. I was driving for Tom MacDonald Trucking based out of Sydney but those were two good guesses!
The company I use to work for had a tractor and a trailer stolen over the weekend. The trailer was found fairly quick in the Vaughan area as it didn't have much value on it but the day cab wasn't found for 2 months or more up in Montreal area.

@@a1driver982 yessir. Actually there was a huge covid outbreak there recently. Warehouse workers should have been first to get the vaccine if they wanted. Not the elderly. For the most part the elderly are retired or at least aren’t exposed to being around hundreds of people per shift. The govt can’t ever get shit right.

Who knows what people have. Quebec apparently got hit the hardest yet many people still out everyday and not many wear masks as its not mandatory there. Its stupid. Even the stay at home thing thats supposed to be happening here in Ontario, nobody listens or takes it serious.
