    How did you deal with the interview / presentation itself, in terms of speaking and confidence? And how did you practise to get better at speaking infront of people like that. Also, was this a virtual interview?

      @@programdeveloper I highly recommend you check out this video I regards to things like body language etc in an interview: ruclips.net/video/XnJ3rUJoooE/видео.htmlsi=oG3YpW7Wfvx6qKax
      However, to summarise some of the points discussed in that video:
      1) prepare answers to the most commonly asked interview questions
      2) research the company enough to be able to answer the basics
      3) body language, use your hands to seem more confident and expressive
      4) trial and error Akhi. Just do a lot of interviews. Practice makes perfect. The more you do them, the easier the interviews seem.
      Yes, my interviews were all online through zoom/teams because I was doing them around COVID time.

    Can you post the names of the short courses that you took to improve your CV before applying

      I did a few little things such as 'code institute's 5 day coding challenge' and bigger things such as full java udemy courses. There's also a medium sized qualification AI qualification I did made by university of Helsinki.
      Some other things I did to improve my chances was read computer science related books such as 'Life 3.0'

    Salam brother, what would you recommend in terms of making your CV stand out, particularly in terms of virtual work exp or any online courses?

    • @maaahhhdi
      @maaahhhdi  2 месяца назад

      WaAlaykum Salam Akhi, I used to think you should aim for the courses that provide certificates which still is the case if you can but what's more important is any experience you can get in the field e.g if you are aiming for a software apprenticeship, then fill your CV with as much software experience as possible wherever you can get it.

    Salam brother, I really want to do what you did which was going into a DA which provided accommodation for its apprentices can you please tell me how you did it ,the company that you did it with as well as other companies that do.As well as how you found your experience with it

      @@subza9592 WaAlaykum Salam wrbt. I don't think any apprenticeship will offer that. Even mine doesn't anymore since that was more of a COVID thing. You'll have to ask around but you are most likely going to have to look for private renting like normal.

      And yes it's worth it to move because your salary should cover the rent + expenses leaving you enough to save.

    I have a very basic level of python knowledge right now, I don't have a CV and I want to do a software engineering degree apprenticeship. Is it too late now that applications are opening soon. Unfortunately everyone knows basic python so it probably won't set you apart since it's apart of GCSE and A-level computer science content.
