Anyway this is my own mod! It's very challenging, because now you have to run away from literally everything. Approaching most passive creatures is usually more dangerous than actual predators. It will be released soon™ (partiality this time too!)

I laughed at the echo exploding at the beginning, definitely wasn't expecting a light balloon pop of all things...

When scavs accidentally add explosive chemicals to Pebbles' rain water and everyone's drinking water sources become nitroglycerine

Edit for the literal: Do note that I was saying everything was a scavenger because they blow themselves up every few seconds, not as a suggestion, that would just be unpleasant.

Also btw did you make things explode on a timer or whenever they try to perform an action near slugcat?
Each reason is different for each creature, some explode when they get scared, and happen to get scared when near the player.
@@turtletoad7725 thanks, i have zero modding skill myself but am a very creative person. i look at these modded videos(and pretty much all your content cuz it's awesome) so I could get some ideas on this technical stuff.

Have you heard of tragedy of King Midas the wise? He has wished upon a shooting star that everything he touches or even looks upon is turned into a pure HMX. To punish him for his arrogance, shooting star turned everything into nitroglycerine instead.

So, what's the condition(s) for creatures to explode?
It's different for each. Scavengers, for instance, explode if they get too scared.
Any and all Centipedes explode when they try to zap you, Kelp and Pole Mimics when they grab you, Lizards when they charge, Vulture Grubs when a summon is successful etc.

Well.. that was certainly something.. looked fun! How does it work? Like, I mean what determines when something will explode?
It's different for every creature. Some of them explode when they get scared, some just explode when they do something unique to themselves. For others like the squidcada not even I know why it happens.

Oh man this reminds me of a very versatile spell system in a game where someone designed "paranoia armor" which would explode anyone who looks at you. This is not too different.

If I may, I would like to make a video recommendation. I would like to see a video covering all of the creatures of rain world and what makes them unique. I have checked in there does not appear to be any videos like that.
A rain world documentary thing is something I've wanted to make for awhile, never really knew what the structure of it should be though.
@@turtletoad7725 I think you'd need a narrator for it. Maybe take, like a tierzoo approach to it? Or go Planet Earth mode? Either would work I think. Depends on what you're going for. People would like it any way you do it.

Hey just a suggestion you should try bringing a lizard to five pebbles like a white one or something I want to see how they react in the zero gravity
He already made a video of that. Also, lizards that climb on the background don’t seem to be all that effected by it.

This guy tried doin a challenge I made up, which was to bring a blue lizard through the entire game. He made it into five pebbles, back he gave up on the return trip through the memory crypts.

You should make it so that when segmented enemies die, each one of their segments explodes seperatly and in quick succsesion.

@@spicylizards4714 no, nono, he had a family, the monk is actually the main slugcats sibling who jumped in after him to try and save him. But the overseers didn't know where his family was, as they are long gone, and simply lied to him as it's the best way to entice him onwards
