You were able to add aftermarket GPU without issues? I have my G5 I took my 3060 ti out and replaced with Asus 210 to have video and now my OC throwing error code and not showing any display
Just curious, but why go with an air intake on the fan? Since it's high up, wouldn't it work better as an exhaust? Or it doesn't really make a difference?
i'm working on a similar project. i used a usb to make a rescue disc from the original dell ssd after getting all of the updates from microsoft and dell. installed the new ssd, booted from the usb, and did a system restore.
If the graphics card used in the video has a fan, do you really need to install a second fan like you did in the video? P.S. I have this exact PC, but the only thing I want to upgrade is to have a graphics card with either 2 HDMI ports, or 1 HDMI and 1 DisplayPort. I don’t game on it, just need a graphics card with 2 ports for HDMI and DisplayPort. No splitter. The MSI might be a good candidate-can I just install that?
Hi, it depends, if you going to use gt 1030 and you do not have to upgrade power supply and if you going to use rx 6400 you have to upgrade power supply..

I would have probably used a 4pin pwm fan splitter off of the cpu 4pin header for the rear fan.

You said that the GT 1030 will run on 200W PSU and no need to upgrade?
From what I have researched, the GT1030 needs a 300w PSU. I ended up returning one I bought for fear of burning up my PSU which is on 200w
