Tricksleeves with a sidearm makes for a great combo and back up weapon.

So to put them on equal footing, we have to give smgs a pairing exotic armor that specifically boosts them as well like Peacekeepers or whatnot.

@@JH-vb1wo it can get Rampage and Frenzy, so it's got options. Pair those with maybe Tap the Trigger or Subsistence and you've got a serviceable roll. Maintaining Frenzy can be a challenge, but Rampage got buffed this season, so it can do some work for sure.
The new bow can roll with archers tempo and successful warm-up, which when paired with the veist stinger trait make it draw quite fast after getting a precision kill

Tarrabah doesn't require kills, it just requires engagements, and not that many of them, before it kills in 1/3 of a second without the need to land any headshots. Tarrabah also has the best stats of any SMG in the game. It is not balanced. Cold Front has pretty bad stats overall, and the perk it uses requires a kill with another weapon, before you get a couple seconds of 900 rpm. That said, it's very good damage for that fire rate, but on a weapon with bad stats and relatively low range and horrible stability.

Get a weapon with cascade point on an energy and use crimson so start the fight on crimson get a kill heal and then switch to your cascade point weapon and finish off the second guy
I thought it worked with final blows form the weapon itself, I think bungie should nerf the rpm like desperado, but add the functionality to activate tie perk without swapping weapons
Can i ask Whats so good about funnelweb that everybody goes so crazy over? Ive got a solid range roll with good stability and i hate it. The floaty recoil pattern is annoying af. Unlike the surplus max range extraordinary rendition which fires almost like a laser. I’ve tried many times to like funnelweb but everytime i take it out i vault it straight away after one game. And thats on console for that matter.

You managed to pick the best exotic pairing for this perk. Rain of Fire does everything Cold Front needs to play it as a pure Cascade Point gun. Kinda feels like a backup weapon like a shotgun/rapid fusion but without AE or limited ammo in exchange for having a limited window of usage.

Pairs perfectly given you get radiant from the Vex Mythoclast whoch lowers the TTK even further given it goes to an 8C1B kill from 8c2B.
